I've brought two vehicles through here 3 times. I'm happy with the service overall but the attendants that are manning the completely electronic entry kiosk (seems unnecessary to have a person out there) are extremely pushy with trying to sell the monthly membership. I think they need to reduce the aggressive sales tactic. Like today for instance, I was relieved no one was out there and as I was finishing up an attendant came out asking how often I get my car washed and was starting the sales pitch and it gave me some anxiety. read more

They don't spray your car down before so if you have bugs most are still left over. The back of my ride was not very clean as well since they don't spray the back before hand. Club Carwash has tow members spray down your whole vehicle before the wash. Disappointed trying Waterway. read more

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! I have a membership, and the hassle of not having to pay at the kiosk each time does NOT excuse them from DOING THE RIGHT THING!! My BIGGEST issue and disappointment is that my truck has been smelling like mildew after they wipe it out each time. I decided to speak with a manager today and not let it slide AND that's when the disappointment sank in. The manager tells me flat-out that they know it's an issue BUT they have just decided to order a $ 1,500 part in hopes of helping remedy the situation... So, I said the following... Why would you not be honest and make your customers aware? I said it's the right thing to do so we can make up our minds. He proceeded to agree with me and go into an awkward silence. This is the second and last time I use this location for my car wash. The first time, the car was left unclean. The second time, today, I thought I'd give it a second chance. I regret my decision. The car was left obviously unclean and the area under the front seat was not vacuumed. I felt they went so fast that they missed obvious things, although I paid for the full price for cleaning. Spots on car for the second most expensive wash and the kid dried my car with a dirty towel so I had to re-clean the windows as there were streaks and i could not see in the sun. Driving through a puddle in the rain has the same outcome as this car wash. read more

I went to the Car wash in Overland Park, this AM. I have used this location many times, however what I encountered this AM, is the last time I will ever go back. !. The 1st thing I encountered were those ridiculous automatic machines which were requiring an assistance to help everyone n in line to answer how they were to be used. When the attendant came up to help me, he informed me if I wanted the interior done it would be an hour or more, I did not have the time and decided to come back!! He informed me I had to go through the CAR WASH anyway as I was blocked in behind(GET REAL) I let him run my card for what I assumed was a regular car wash just to get out of there. After passing through the car wash I noticed it had only charged ($9.00+ change) no problem!!! then upon inspection of my vehicle, i was a total mess. There should have been a sign alerting us to the fact that if we wanted to have the interior cleaned there would be an hour wait and that if we got in line we were trapped into a car wash. However, when I pulled in this afternoon, I was told that they were not doing upgrades, because they were busy and they wanted to get everyone through the line quicker. Stopped in there because truck was dirty and thought I might get it cleaned up. I cannot believe how poor of a job was done. There are still bugs on the front bumper and grill. Inside dust was still on ledge in front of the dashboard and above radio and LCD screen. The running boards to get into the truck had not been wiped, little shiny spots but most of the chrome was still dirty and dull gray from road grime. I won't even go into the tires and wheels, no better than if I had put my thumb over the end of a hose and sprayed them. I thought for $31.55 my truck would be clean, guess not. read more

Went to this Waterway Carwash after work. They have a sign on their entrance door that states "Must Wear a Mask". My wife and I were wearing our masks. We purchased the Whole Wash with tax came to $42. When we got inside, we noticed two customers not wearing a mask and then within the 30 minutes we were there waiting for our car to finish up, two more customers came in without masks. We stopped a manager and mentioned that there were numerous people in his carwash not wearing a mask. He appeared concerned, but did nothing when approaching someone not wearing a mask. We have spent a lot of money at this car wash over the years, but if we don't feel safe, we can't continue to support this carwash. There are too many other carwashes around here where I will feel much safer. And yes, I'll mention this to all my mask wearing friends. read more

I paid almost $30 for full service car wash. But yet they didn't pull the matt from the back out and or vacuum under that and behind the seats. The inside of the back hatch was not wiped down. Just overall not impressed. I guess I should have inquired what all was included. I won't go back. read more

I went here just to get a carwash, I usually go to Green Lantern but a friend told me this place was good so I took my happy ass there. I went and the guy was really nice, explained everything to me because I've never been there before, I bought the whole thing, I think it's what it's called and my car was dirty and messy...not even joking. I didn't throw a lot of trash out yet because I figured I'd be in the car through the car wash then then would be able to throw it out afterwards but I didn't look for a trash can and I didn't ask for one either, so they did a great job considering the car was also a mess...when I went to pay, they gave me a the whole thing again if I came back within 5 days. How awesome is that! So I went back 4 days later, threw the trash out. organized a lil better and even though I used a free voucher, they still did an excellent job! read more

I've taken my car there twice, paid $42 to get "the whole thing". Supposed to thoroughly clean inside and out. Both times the inside was just okay. Didnt look like it was wiped down or cleaned. As for the outside there were water spots on the chrome and the front still had bug residue on it. I specifically said, please clean the bugs off as they didn't the first time. While I appreciate fast service apparently fast service means they don't do a thorough job. Clearly not worth the $42! read more

In 5 years here, and within 1.5 miles, I have never used Waterway, as I've never been satisfied by this type of car wash. But after a 5 day trip to Colorado, thought I'd splurge on a car cleaning. I spent $40 (plus a tip for the team) to have the entire Acadia cleaned, which included extra $$ for the 3rd seat and cargo area. So disappointed when I got in and found trash in the car, the console not wiped down and the cargo area not vacuumed or wiped down, they didn't open the cargo door, and there was mud on the bumper. The windshield was not cleaned. Now I remember why I don't spend $40 to have my car "cleaned". read more

Had a coupon for a wash...upgraded to include wheels. It was amusing to me that the kids didn't know how to drive a stick so they required us to move our own cars. I had upgraded to the wheel deal because the guy said it could get off the gunk on my rims, but it didn't. However, the car was clean and the wheels looked better, so with my coupon I really can't complain. The amount the inside charges for a monster is a little insane, but all it all it was great with a coupon. read more

Paid for the $20 Wheel Deal. Wash did not properly clean car. This wasn't hard built up grime, but just a bug on the hood that after pointed out the guy cleaned off with a few squirts of the bottle and a rag. Still other spots all in the front. Watching the jets they all point sideways hitting the side of the car but not the front. Had to ask them to go over the car again with the vacuum as well. Paying $8+ more to have 3 things by hand (vacuum, wipe down, hand dry) that they put little effort into. Not happy. I like the concept, but not the execution. I might be back only because I have a free express wash coupon a friend gave me. Perhaps then they'll redeem themselves. Oh, and gas pumps were down, but didn't bother to mark the pumps as such. I went to this car wash this week and paid the premium to have the inside and outside cleaned. After I got home I look the car over and I noticed that they hadn't even got the bugs off the outside so I took a deeper look on the inside and realized they didn't do anything that I paid extra for. So at this point I was confused why I paid extra money to have the extra things done when they weren't done. They do offer a five day service to have the whole thing done again so I went back and had it redone. This time I expressed that I wasn't happy with the first job and they did do a better job the second round. But I feel like if they're going to offer a service they should do the service they offer. read more

I showed up today at 4pm at "Waterway Carwash" in Overland Park and it was a breezy 21 degrees outside. Frankly, it felt like 7 degrees! Inspite of the cold temps they graciously ran my car through their state of the art car wash for an interior, exterior with under carriage wash! Inspite of the cold temps each staff member went our of their way to make sure that myself and my car were cared for and that every detail was addressed in an efficient and timely manner! As an nurse, I was so impressed by each staff member's professional appearance, manner and thoughtful customer service! Beyond stellar! My thanks goes out to Wyatt, Tom and Chris for going the extra mile to make sure that my salt laden car looked like it was show room new by the time all was said and done! Perfecto! I'm pretty disappointed in this Carwash. My husband got me a monthly membership and it's extremely convenient to run my car through whenever needed but I'm to the point in wanting to cancel. Regularly, the area around my mirrors doesn't get dried off well, at all. I just went through and the small blonde haired boy directing cars through the wash looked lost. He didn't use the hose to rinse the car before it goes through the wash like normal. He was directing me forward but not paying attention to my wheels on the track. I could feel something a little off but he told me to put my vehicle in neutral for the wash anyway. When the track started to try to take my car, it couldn't. He then directed me to move my car back then forward before telling me to go back to neutral again and it was fine, but you are dealing with guest's expensive property. You need staff that pays attention from start to finish. read more

I think these guys have mastered the art of doing enough that you don't complain, but they don't really do a thorough job. I got the $33 dollar package, and what I really wanted was a good interior cleaning. This was the best package before things started getting crazy with shampooing and stuff. But the interior had clearly not been wiped down well enough with obvious prints and just . . . Stuff still on it. But it was that sneaky kind of dirty where at first glance it looks good, but 3 blocks down the road you noticed they missed quite a bit. Disappointing. The wash took a very long time and when I got back to the car they hadn't vacuumed or thrown out empty cups from the cup holders or trash from a trash bag. Everything was dumped onto the seats. To make matters worse, they uninstalled the car seats for my kids and didn't mention this to me. If I hadn't noticed, I would not have known. Waste of my time and money. read more

I couldn't be happier with the results! My car was spotless inside and out, the workers were friendly and pleasant, and the manager Evan made a point of making sure I was happy with the service. I have been here several times and my car is usually done right. Most of the time they take their time and listen to what you want them to focus on while cleaning. My issue with this place is the customer service. Each time I come here it seems like I am putting the cashier out to pay for my service. This morning the cashier was beyond rude that if my car was not already in the wash I would have walked out. To be specific on the rudeness from the cashier all started with me forgetting to leave my keys in my car. I apologize for this because I am use to the self start. It still runs without the key in the car. But that is besides the point. I was embarrassed by the cashier telling me that I was holding up all of the vehicles because I forgot my key. I mean seriously? It was an accident. Then when I came back in she asked for my ticket- well she kept it when I went to give them the key. She was just plain rude. I will not come back to this waterway. I do not need to be treated like this. read more
