I visited this BP gas station solely because Upside, a cash-back application, offered 12 cents per…read moregallon off regular gas. Along a route that I frequently drive, it offers higher cash back than most partner stations on my way home. Upside requires you to claim the offer before paying with your linked card. While verification usually takes at least four days, it took only 3 days during this visit. This BP is one of the best-planned and most user-friendly gas stations along Roosevelt Road. Unlike many poorly designed stations near major, light-controlled intersections that are difficult to leave due to heavy traffic, this location strikes a perfect balance by being easy to both enter and exit. Because this site sits away from major intersections, it remains free of bottlenecks and congestion. Among all the partner stations on Roosevelt Road, this is my preferred choice--not only for its higher cashback offers but because it provides a practical, fast, and safe exit. Like most gas stations that give off a gritty vibe, this location is no exception. Since encountering what appeared to be vomit on the selection screen, I always have the urge to sanitize my hands right after using the pump, or even to put on latex gloves--you never really know with places that have a constant stream of customers coming and going. We all know very well that the gas station clerk is not coming outside to clean the pumps. In this world, you must protect yourself from these germ-infested surfaces because nobody else will. If I am in the area and in dire need of gas, I would definitely consider visiting this BP station, especially given its higher cash-back incentives on the Upside app. Amenities: ATM, Dunkin', convenience store, air and vacuum station, restrooms, propane, loyalty discounts, pay-at-the-pump convenience, and a private gaming room with slot machines (open until midnight). ~Escape the ordinary. ~ Thomas G
