I called to question it and was told that they had multiple calls and would look into and call back. I had to call again and follow up. I spoke with one lady who stated that they did not read the meter in December because the guy that reads it, apparently must be the only person in the company that can do it, was ill. Thier explanation began with increase in usage, taking averages from customers in surrounding areas and then tweaking the number then just ended up saying it was just due to the weather. They tried confusing with first talking about the usage then the gallons used the just really kept talking in circles giving absolutely NO legitimate reason behind their calculation or real effort to find a solution. I heard they were a scam but I was hoping that they would at least wait a year before screwing me out of so much money. I am afraid now to see what the next bill will be. I have now reduced my intakes I'm even more probably freeze afraid the next bill will be in the thousands. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR YOUR HEATING SERVICE THEY ARE A SCAM AND LOOK FOR WAYS TO CHEAT YOU OUT IF YIUR MONEY. TAKE A LOOK AT THE REVIEWS THEYBARE TRUE. They should BE INVESTIGATED. Went inside spoke to store clerk, first asked who had been working there answering phones in the last hour. He replied "only me." I explained the misquoted price I was given over the phone. He was rude and said same price for last 5 days. I explained to him that didn't make it right to give incorrect information over the phone. This location has lost all my business in the future. Obviously I wasn't here for fuel for my vehicle. I came inside to grab a few things for the road so I could just head out once I ate. Walking into the building it is the usual findings that you would see in an Exxon. Sparse items, but somehow exactly what you were looking for. I walked about the aisles, picked up what I wanted and made my way to the register. It was a swift visit as I was itching to get out of the area. I had my items in hand and I was on my way.
