Getting there is interesting too.... or even an adventure......when exiting from 39, there are no stop signs, you must navigate through a series of roundabouts. For the uninitiated , it can be rather nerve racking.... heck, even for the initiated too! This might even be the reason for the expansive beer selection at Carl's, as you might need a drink or two to steady your nerves too celebrate arriving safely after negotiating said roundabouts. Carl's is also a good place to stock up on Spotted Cow, a locally produced microbrew as they have a large selection of New Glarus Brewing Beers. In fact the brewery has tours seven days a week and is a short drive from Carl's Shell. Use Yelp for directions from here, it's worth the trip!

From the road, my boyfriend and I had to turn right into a street before turning into the gas station after going in a little further. Since there's sufficient number of gas station stands, even though all the nearby ones were occupied, we managed to find a spot by the end that allowed for us to fill up gas for the left side of our car. Although, I didn't get to go inside the convenience store, from the outside, it looked very clean and professional. Gas at this station was noticeably cheaper than other nearby locations.

This summer, 2021, I've spent many hours driving past this particular stores location…read more Since it along the daily drive, every day at least twice, this is primarily targeting this location. Spotless during the busy day as well as seemingly every visit, it speaks well of the each of the people I encounter. Late nights, after 10-12 pm, I see Ed, a retired man who is always nice to visit with when it's more laid back and I'm not just racing thru for a coffee. It's during one of the recent late night visits that I was particularly hungry that I paused along the large open cooler right in the path from the entrance to everything within. Stopping and seeing some potential options that actually were incredibly delicious meals. Never in my imagination had I considered buying meatloaf at a gas station. Decades ago getting a midnight microwave burrito was a thing I regrettably admit. Everyone is guilty of this or worse. Following the world lockdown it's been a real bummer not having a Denny's or similar 24hr diner to grab a after hours burger etc. So in short I bought the mashed potatoes and meatloaf meal and it was incredibly good! This last week I've began seeing commercials about this new product. This is what redirected my input. Sure the sponsored adverts will say anything. Doesn't mean anything. Had I seen the commercial first, I seriously don't believe I'd have taken the cue and purchased one. But seeing it, looking at the contents, reading the ingredients gave indication that it wasn't typical frozen TV dinner fare. Twice, I've enjoyed the meatloaf. I won't say it's better than mine, because mine kicks butt, and I'm rarely going to admit a fail in my kitchen. I don't serve the failed attempts at home, though my wife is sadly a test subject occasionally suffering something I know sucked. She's a good sport. I know when it's good as well as terrible regardless of her transparent lies. lol. The Beef Stroganoff too is very nice. I won't delve into another long worded thing. It's very good and as I write, I'm thinking I'll be trying a few of the other offerings in the weeks to come. $8 approx per. Not unrealistic. Less costly than Denny's, and many locations I imagine are also open at late hours. 4 stars ONLY because 5 wouldn't appear legit. No bribes, incentives or threats to promote this place. I doubt BP or any of the related C-stores around will follow this trend, and in truth, none I've ever visited have ever held standards to KT's level. In that, I very much endorse KT overall as the one 5 star C-store nearly universally.

Mondays are listed as 'Order Days' where is you order by midnight, then you can pick up on Thursday/Friday of that week. Anything after will wait until the week after. I try to order from vendors that do not have a storefront already and I would not easily get their goods with Christine's, otherwise you can just go directly to the business as well. I've ordered from the vendors like Bonnie's Balls (curd & chive), 100 Mile Sauce Bloody Mary Mix (spicy), Chef K Clark Pickles & Preserves (Chili Hot Chow Chow), Good Food Low Carb Cafe (PB chocolate bars), and Madtown Food Services (meatballs). All of this, I definitely recommend trying! Happy Order Day!

I thought to list with 2 stars but I am an ardent supporter and softy for small businesses so I'm glad I gave myself time and space from the hiccup before posting a review. 1) this umbrella organization provides plenty small eateries, individual cooks and home decor offerings a place to reach many with less effort 2) the location is right off E. Wash with a parking lot for easy access 3) order online and schedule a pickup 4) customer service really tries. I could go on about my incident but I respect the attempts at recovery more than I'd ever complain about the mix-up/failure/stumble. However you want to name it; nonetheless, I'd summarize with Nice concept but the pickup process failed while the service sincerely tries to correct and adapt which says more than anything to me. Why 4 stars and not 5? There's authentic room for improvement and I'm certain they'll get it as I've only had two visits to provide the average/mean while I hope anyone reading doesn't see 4 stars as failing but as a genuine review supporting their potential growth + honest interactions with me as a shopper.
