I have…read morevery long thick dark hair that I need roots done every 3-4 weeks and I need the ends trimmed every few months. I don't use heat and barely use a blow dryer on my hair. It's long and healthy!! This past appointment was a nightmare. I asked for a TRIM specifically saying no more than a half inch dusting off the ends!! Casey decided to cut 3-4 inches off with out saying a word! Never said she was cutting more, never told me what she was doing,just CUT! Then says after she cut "I took more off than usual" I didn't even notice how MUCH it really was until I got in the car and flipped my hair forward and then after styling at home (I left with wet hair). She swept up what was on the floor super fast. I messaged her saying I was very upset and then she lies and said I asked her to cut off what was "dead"!!!! My hair was NOT DEAD. I absolutely never said any such thing!! I sent before pictures to prove so to her in the message thread. My hair is shiny and healthy!!!! My hair wasn't dead, that's an excuse and a blatant LIE !!! WHY she did this I don't know!!! She offered me $45 back and says "well your hair is still mad long" and other defensive messages with "lol" at the end of them. So totally unacceptable!!! We didn't "discuss" anything about my hair color I asked for foil highlights she did a balayage no foil. There was no consultation she just started doing what she wanted. My hair is one inch past my shoulders, if you want to charge me extra because it's "so long and thick" that's no problem but you should definitely inform your client before the service that you are charging them so much extra. Any other salon I've been to has always offered purple shampoo when washing a blonde, I didn't want to change my tone, I understand what a toner does,I have always been offered purple shampoo when having my hair washed professionally.
