TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. This lady did not listen to a word I said. I am a professional cosmetologist I SPECIFICALLY told her. I like my brows super thick. They just need to be cleaned and trimmed. Do not take to much off. VERBATIM. this lady took my whole eyebrows off basically. And she knew she did a bad job cus she said "didn't you say medium " like no sis you heard me loud and clear and I repeated my self 2 times so there was no language barrier. I genuinely think she just does not care and does them however she sees fit. WORST PLACE EVER. My eyebrows are not only THIN as life. They are lopsided uneven thin and she left bald spots. If i can i would give this place a zero. The woman who did my bows was very rude and did the shittiest job imaginable. I have thick bushy brows (which i love) and i just wanted them to be cleaned up. I'd like to start by saying... Do NOT go to anyone Except Mimi. I like threading and would rather have that done then waxing but be careful who you go to. My eyebrows are full and after having them done not too long ago (the shape of which I liked) I stopped in to have them just cleaned up. This means to o it remove the newly frown hair and to clip the rest. I went to another woman bc Mimi was not there. I very specifically asked to be cleaned up and not to have the shape messed with. Well she butchered my left brow and laughed when I told her I was unhappy. She made it too thin. Then said don't worry it will grow back just add castor oil. Seriously?!?! Growth is not a problem. I've been to this spot twice. The first time I saw a young girl who was on point! Last week I returned and saw someone else. First of all she wasn't even going to consult with me to ask how I wanted them, so I told her I'm growing my brows out, I just want the tail cleaned up. She just shook her head yes. After reading the reviews, I went to The Threading Place on Level 2 of the mall and asked for Mimi. I was told that she was not there so I took a chance on the lady that offered to do them for me. Her name was Raheela and she did an excellent job. I like my eyebrows thick and she left them just the way I like them. She was very quick but very courteous. Just had my eyebrows done today by a lady named, Mehwish aka "Mimi." She had a quite long hair, more on the taller side with a piercing on her nose who worked downstairs. Her threading job was awful, quick, haphazardly done, and her customer service was horrible and despicable. She never smiled and had a grumpy face. She did not clean my eye brows well and was on the phone while doing the eye threading, spitting on my face while talking over the phone. When she was asked to trim my eyebrows, she raised her voice and said, "I know! I know! Put your head done!" I go here all the time. Mimi is the best, hands down. I always ask for her, but if she's not there, I will on occasion go to someone else. I've had some decent and some not so decent experiences with the other girls. I used to travel down to Paramus, NJ to get my eyebrows threaded, so I'm glad this was finally introduced to the area. read more

I have been having my brows and upper lip threaded at The Threading Place for a while and i have always been pleased with how fast and well the therapists work. They have 2 shops at Galleria Mall, one on Level 1 and another on Level 2. However, my experience yesterday was dreadful at the level 1 shop. The person who worked on me was inexperienced, and extremely unprofessional. She took a long time and worked back and forth on both eyebrows which i had no problems with initially as i thought she was just being meticulous. However, she took out a chuck of my right eyebrow, and left me 2 cuts on my left eyelid. She did not mention the cuts. I only realized them when she applied the aloe gel which stung. After looking in the mirror, i pointed out the unevenness of my brows, the missing chunk, and the cuts. She made excuses and told me to get back on the chair so she could "fix" the issues. I refused and asked for someone else to finish the job but she was the only one in the shop at that time. She apologized and told me "please, this is my job". Her attitude was bad after that and she then basically just sat behind the register and ignored me. I left the place angry and upset. Calmed down, went upstairs and explained the situation to the very lovely therapist (it was unfortunate that i didn't get her name). Although she obviously couldn't do anything about the cuts, she tidied up the mess the other person made, gave me tips how to cover the color in the brows while waiting for them to grow again. My eyebrows may not look the way i wanted them to but they looked alot better once she was done. She was truly the saving grace. read more

i'm a guy who enjoys being a pretty boy. i went in and sat down, as the women were busy with clients. after sitting for 5-10 minutes i was told that they don't thread men's eyebrows... absolute bullshit! what's the difference between removing eyebrow hair on a male than a female? i don't understand how people are willing to turn away business due to their beliefs. it's 2016 & you're in America with different beliefs than where you came from!! that's all i will say! read more
