Lots of posted job opportunities and the school is looking to hook the students up with those type of jobs. It was a great followup class as I was able to put to practice the fundamentals that I learned during that course. In addition to that, I learned how to safely and quickly draw from a holster, learned about reloads, pistol malfunctions, how to increase speed/accuracy, and more. My confidence is through the roof and I feel so much better prepared than I did before training with Jeff. I highly recommend this course to anyone who has already completed their Concealed Carry class, wants to be a better defensive shooter, or if you just want to be more prepared for what could happen while you're carrying. If you think you don't need this class because you've been around guns your whole life, I will definitely argue that you're doing yourself a disservice by not taking this class. I worried at first hearing that some of the students had been shooting for years and I had only ever shot a gun on 2 occasions before taking this course, but when I saw how much those students were learning and improving on skills that they didn't even know they needed improvement on, I felt confident that I would also be able to fine tune my own skills and build upon what I already knew. My primary focus was on sight acquisition, holster work, trigger control, stance, and reloads and I can honestly say by the end of the day those skills were improved as I was holding a 3" group while working on everything we did :) I can't wait to do this again. One of the biggest benefit was the way Jeff was able to break down and explain what I was doing wrong when I couldn't explain it myself. The use of a shot timer was another useful tool which proved helpful. Jeff was very accommodating as far as scheduling and allowed me to break up my payments to make it more manageable for my budget. It was definitely money well spent and I'm looking forward to some of the workshops he has coming up.
