I took the Concealed Weapons License course with Josh this past December. Since this was a more advanced class, I appreciated the amount of time we spent in the classroom going over real-life scenarios and information about laws that apply when you have your Concealed License. It was extremely informational and made me feel much more confident going forward about my rights, where we are and aren't protected under the law, and best courses of action in scenarios. Our instructor Josh was very educated and made the class engaging where we could all participate and really think through different questions. What started off as a good experience ended up badly due to really poor service. I certainly would not recommend this company! Took my concealed carry class and was really happy with the instructor and the overall experience. Applied for my license with the state the very next day and waited a month and a half only to receive a letter from them that the certificate I submitted was not adequate. I figured since this is what sort of thing this company does all the time they would know what certificate is needed. Apparently not! I called and requested the correct one be sent to me and Megan acted very put out. I asked if the new certificate could be emailed to me since I only needed a copy for the state and she said no it would have to be sent via post office. Sooo I got the new one and my name was spelled wrong. Of course the state will not accept this as it did not match my ID and application form. So I called again and left a voicemail for Megan asking for a new certificate. She left me a message back that she would send it but that she filled out the last certificate based on what I told her. As if I somehow don't know how to spell my own name and didn't provide her the correct spelling. And of course no apology for the second error either. Hopefully the third times the charm and the new certificate will actually be correct. But what awful service! RESPONSE: Megan - if you were half as helpful and nice to me on the phone as you were in your below response I never would have written this review. I did hear your voicemail and was in shock you were blaming me for not spelling my name correctly, I even played it for my family to make sure I was hearing you correctly. And you never once apologized for any of the errors nor my inconvenience. read more

My wife and I took the 4hr introduction to handgun. We were lucky enough to get Josh Stone as our instructor. He is really knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable with a gun when you finish the class. He has a great sense of humor and makes the class interesting and fun. We don't own guns and we were interested in how to use a gun for self defense if we decided to purchase one in the future. I went alone (I'm a woman) and was welcomed and never felt intimidated at all, they were super excited to show me the ropes and provided lots of useful information. We took the Intro to Handguns at Gun World today. Booked online and showed up ready to learn. WOW! Josh and Will were professional and fun, teaching all of the basics and allowing for all of our questions. Nobody in our class had any experience shooting a gun and these two men honestly made it easy to learn. The range was busy, yet we still had their undivided attention from the moment we arrived until we left. We were able to use the equipment on site and it was all clean and in perfect condition. We were given a large variety of firearms to use in the range and never felt pressured to buy after the class. We will definitely be taking advanced classes with them! read more

A friend and I took the advanced conceal carry class with D and W. Fantastic, practical, And Implementable training with a proper amount of time dedicated to classroom and range time. Class size is fixed to ensure safety and adequate 1 on 1 advice and technique adjustments. The instructors are down to earth, honest, experienced and relatable which is important. Took the Intro to Handguns class with my wife. Very informative, especially because my wife had never even held a gun before. Mike was a great instructor! He kept it interesting the whole 4 hours. My only issue is that they didn't have the cost of the ammunition on their site. The class is $150, but you also have to buy $50 of ammo (per person) when you're there. Gun rentals, targets, and eye/ear protection was included in the cost though. read more

this was a great experience, went with my wife and daughter and we had a great time. we took the "introduction to handgun" for our CCW, a four hour class, the instructors kept the class light hearted and informative so it never became boring and slow. the instructors were knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions. on the range the instructors really showed their metal seemingly everywhere at once adjusting handgun grip and stance and explaining practical pistol shooting technique. we will be going back for further training and I encourage you, if you have any interest to give these folks a try. read more
