No paper shuffle, no nonsense. At first, he might come off reserved, but once he gets going, he's easy to talk to--very down-to-earth and genuinely helpful. No attitude. Doesn't size you up based on what you're buying or asking about--whether it's your first Glock or a suppressor setup, he treats everyone with respect and doesn't force you to buy anything. Just friendly knowledge without judgement. The shop is still building inventory, so it's not a mega-store yet, but he's clearly setting it up right. Bonus: he's got a SilencerShop kiosk on-site, and I was able to use it to upload my prints for my NFA items--quick, clean, no drama. As a new visitor, I had to read and sign and pay $20 for a range card. A bunch. And that's on top of the range fee. A little noisy but what indoor gun range isn't. They have eyes and ears to borrow and the targets go way way back. My little pistol isn't much beyond 10 feet so I stuck to the short shots and did pretty darned well. Lots of firearms for sale and they are not at all expensive. Of course, I'd have to pay for the transfer back to North Carolina which adds to the cost. I inquired about a sales item and the sales guy acted like I was interrupting. I lead him over to the area where the items were. He did not understand the differences between the different items. They did not have the advertised item in stock. He acted like I was interrupting his conversation and made no effort to get the item advertised ordered. The range itself is great and additionally like that there are separate ones for either handgun or rifle. Additionally, they clearly mark the lines for 10, 15, and 20 yards, so whether you're shooting a 9mm with a 4" barrel, a compact with a 3" barrel, you can better determine adjustments to your sights, especially if you're comparing multiple handguns in control, ergonomics, and reliability. I try to get there during the early start of the week when it's not too packed but Sunday mornings are also a good time to go shoot.

When you enter this store, you are greeted warmly by Frank or Alex. They are very good at helping customers make informed decisions. He recently was looking for a specific caliber in a model. They didn't have it in stock, but ordered it, and it arrived within 3 days. They do offered concealed carry classes, as well as beginner to intermediate gun safety courses. Frank also offers fitness and self-defense classes, which are based on Krav Maga. I personally took a self-defense course with a group of ladies at this location and feel that Frank did an excellent job teaching the class and making us feel comfortable with the skills taught.
