I once played on a rubber court which was so weird but the look of the court was cool. Now Gary Nix Pavilion is a nice addition to South Tampa it's connected to a stretch of land that has a lake and bridge where you can do some fishing and plenty of grass to let your dog run free. The court is very up to date the rims are NBA regulation height the paint on the court is perfect as well. Now there's a couple things that can be improved the court is very uneven when it rains you can see the large puddles of water which let's guy aware of that, they do not have any room for bleachers so you have a bunch of people who isn't playing standing right around the court. My biggest concern was there isn't any garbage cans the kids trash the joint daily i don't know who comes and cleans it up but there is no place to put any trash. So for that i can't give this place five's but i love it and im here twice a week. So if any Yelpers want a quick finger roll tutorial i got you!!! Oh yeah #LetsgoHeat

Non staffed park. We been a few times and the area is remote but also very open. Good few shade trees as well. One side of the park is flanked by a field with horses, but no smell came over despite it being a super hot day. Big plus! And it's far off enough not to be a distraction. Great place for family events or park games.

The park is ran by the Hillsborough County and is open from dawn to dusk. Only service animals are allowed but I've seen people come here with their dogs. There are water fountains and plenty of metal trash bins. I'm sure there are bathrooms but I never stay long enough to find one. There is a covered area with picnic tables but the playground and the playground has swings and slides. It's designed for children age 5-12. The playground is in an ideal area under large moss covered trees. I do recommend this park and will upload more pictures on our next visit!

Overall a great place with lots of different play and fun options. It's also near the water so you can get nice views if you look across the street ;)

The league was well organized and had a great communication cadence. You essentially get guaranteed court play for 45 minutes each week. The price is hard to beat at $30 a team per season. Highly recommend!

The highlight of this event park is the paved trail around it…read more Okay that's anti climactic and silly considering this park boasts every amenity (and then some) a park could have. There's a play ground, a rec center, restrooms, courts, tons of parking, fields. You name it-it's got it. The park even has pools! I personally really appreciate that the paved trail is smooth enough to rollerblade. And that's why it's the highlight for me. This park is a full afternoon of socially distant adventures. I'm so grateful for how well maintained it is. The St. Pete Parks and Rec team deserves so many kudos.
