I brought it in and they told me it would take about a week and they were done appraising it in about a day. I think it helped that I had all the paperwork that mentioned what kind of stones and metals were used in my ring. When I brought the ring in, I was helped immediately and given a yellow piece of paper to bring in when I returned. They asked for my full legal name and address. They gave me a call when they were done. When I returned, I showed the slip, got my ring back, and an appraisal sheet. They had me review the sheet to make sure everything was written correctly before getting the Appraiser's signature. This cost me $90, which after some research seemed to be the cheapest and most affordable cost for an engagement ring appraisal. It's a tiny shop with Carytown style parallel parking out front. The only downside about this shop is that it smells like cigarettes, but I was in and out of there so quickly this didn't affect my experience. Plus I got great service! I highly recommend visiting.

They have a good selection of jewelry on display. But since I was on a mission I didn't pay too much attention. They service is friendly and they replaced the two batteries in 10 min time while I waited. I think the price is fair and they worked very fast. Definitely recommended!

Let friend purchased some dog treats for her pup at home. I almost purchased a key ring and wallet but decided not to. I honestly felt like I could purchase the same item for cheaper. Which I later did find out. Normally I am all about purchasing from a small business. But, as I walked around and noticed the pricing I was high on so many items. It just does not match up with the area the store is in. I saw a cute dress after I passed up the key ring. The dress was $150. Ouch. Cute dress though. The owner was very nice and polite.

It is beautifully assembled and you can tell the shop owners care so much about the overall look and feel. We were in town for a wedding and searching desperately for something classy that said Cape Charles on it. Most of the other shops (though nice) only offer the kitschy, touristy t-shirts that my Mom and I just do not wear. A starchy t-shirt with fish in flip flops with a design that says Cape Charles probably have their place, but it doesn't appeal to us. We found the most lovely sherpa pullover that simply said "Cape Charles" in a stylish font at Love Letters. Whew! We also purchased a very cute collar bowtie for our new rescue dog. I loved their selection of more upscale accessories for your furry friend. This is overall a lovely store worth your stop if you are someone who genuinely enjoys shopping local. To provide comment on the other review: you are getting what you pay for. If you're searching for a less classy experience, there is abundant shopping in the area that is more budget-friendly. I loved this beautiful store! I'll definitely be back.

I feel like if there was a specific item you are looking for, you will find it here. I was going down memory lane. The barn house a lot of huge items. The barn in the back is jaw dropping. You can't miss the humongous yellow chair and the quirky metal rooster on the front lawn! There are at least 4 buildings: the main building, the "she shed", another small building, and the big barn down the trail! The barn is full of bigger furniture and architectural items as well as traffic lights and metal sculptures and salvage stuff & fixtures. The smaller buildings have garden items (I found a big terra cotta planter that I purchased) and statues. One outbuilding housed some lovely art deco pieces, vintage hats and purses, wing chairs, perfume bottles, and even an antique typewriter. The cute little she shed had kitchenware, vintage aprons, old utensils, some wooden chairs, a tiny table and a few other cool pieces (I bought a cute white deco bookcase from this area). The main building is full of antique furniture, dining sets, china and crystal, tea things, pictures, lamps, mirrors, rugs, jewelry, and even some homemade crafts. I was in "junking" heaven. The owner was super nice and gave me a deal on my finds. With Yelp I also got 10% off my purchase. Even the pristine restroom was decorated with things for sale, linens, signage, washboards, etc! If you're feeling lucky, don't pass up this awesome shopper's paradise!
