I'm not moving by choice. I decided It's necessary and the best choice I have. Therefore, when the sale was announced, I was not able to burst into happy mode. However, my situation does not prevent me from recognizing good professional work. I want to thank you for your support and flexibility. And you were patient and adaptedto my pace.  I also went to Express my appreciation and gratitude for the great work that Jamie did, she devoted A lot of her time to me, did everything I asked her to do even if it was an unconventional. My husband and I were casually searching for our future retirement home when we met Eric at an open house. From our very first conversation, he impressed us with his deep knowledge and thoughtful insights into the unique nuances that make each Eichler home so special. There was never any sense of pressure, just a genuine passion for architecture and an honest conversation that immediately put us at ease. As a real estate professional myself, Eric's sincerity and expertise stood out from the start, and we both knew right away that he was the agent we wanted to work with. As my husband and I deliberate on our purchase, Eric introduced us to his better half, Janelle. Janelle mirrors Eric in every way, she offered strategic guidance on design, preservation, and potential upgrades that respected the home's original charm. She was always exceptionally responsive, providing clear, timely communication that made us feel completely supported and informed throughout the entire process. Even after closing, Janelle's support didn't stop. She made sure we were fully settled and comfortable in our new home, which meant so much to us. We're so grateful to have crossed paths with Eric and Janelle. What began as a casual home search quickly led us to our forever home. To anyone looking for a real estate team that leads with both heart and expertise, the Boyenga Team is absolutely the way to go! All the best, Anh and Cliff read more

The Boyenga Team is fantastic, and working with Janelle is always a delight. I've bought and sold with her over the years, and she's consistently helpful, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She makes the process easy and stress-free--always two steps ahead and always delivering. What stands out most is how truly helpful she is at every step. From day one, she lays out a clear plan--pricing strategy, comps, timelines, and checklists--so you always know what's next. She proactively coordinates everything (inspectors, stagers, photographers, handypeople, lenders, title)--one text and it's handled. She explains options and trade-offs in plain English, whether it's offer terms, contingencies, rent-backs, or appraisal/inspection nuances, and she gives practical recommendations so decisions feel simple, not overwhelming. Her communication is elite: timely updates, quick responses, and thoughtful reminders that keep everyone aligned. When unexpected issues pop up (they always do), she stays calm, brings solutions, and keeps the deal moving without drama. Her network is deep and reliable, covering every facet of a home purchase or sale, so there's truly nothing to worry about. I put my full trust in Janelle and she has never disappointed. Her husband, Eric, is equally helpful and knowledgeable, and I always feel taken care of when I'm working with them. They're your one-stop shop for buying or selling a home, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Truly the best of the best. read more

I cannot recommend the Boyenga team. What they'll tell you is that they sold our house 'with multiple offers'. What they won't tell you is that they mis-priced the house and that each offer was lower than the listing price. They also recommended a lawn maintenance service that did not maintain the lawn to our perfection. Finally, our house was located in a family-friendly neighborhood, in walking distance to an elementary, middle, and high-school. We saw no effort to emphasize the family friendly appeal of the house. We eventually sold the home. I think we could have sold it faster, with less stress, and at a higher price had we hired a different Realtor/real estate time, read more

Eric and Janelle helped us sell our father's house, and made a stressful and emotional transaction very straightforward. They were very communicative and responsive to any questions we had, and their knowledge of trust sales made the process easier for us. They knew exactly which repairs and updates would bring the best return on investment and oversaw all the work, which resulted in a sale after just one open house weekend, with the house selling for over the asking price. Eric and Janelle were an absolute joy to work with, and we highly recommend them! read more

Selecting the Boyenga Team to sell a home was the best choice we could have made. From our first meeting to the closing, our experience with Janelle and Eric couldn't have been better. Not having been in the real estate market for over 30 years, we were full of questions. Eric and Janelle listened to our concerns, understood our trepidation and delivered on all their commitments. Whether buying or selling, we recommend the Boyenga Team for their expertise, experience and grace. read more

Janelle, Elizabeth and Phat were amazing to work with in my recent purchase in Los Altos Hills. Their fast communication, administration of the escrow process, and post-close follow ups were fantastic to make sure I had everything I needed to get the property closed! Janelle and Eric sold our townhome in Mountain View. We had an excellent experience, and they managed to give us this experience despite us being 3,000 miles away and not traveling to the Bay Area at all during the transaction. I am an M&A attorney, and used to most service providers not being as responsive as I am expected to be, but Janelle was amazing in this regard - one of the most organized and responsive people you will meet. She was also very strategic, and put a lot of thought into how best to play the market. The result was us getting much more than we expected in a tough market. I would wholeheartedly recommend Janelle and Eric! read more

We worked with Darcy/Victoria from Boyenga group, to buy our home in Sunnyvale. We met her during an open house and started working with her. She is extremely efficient and has great knowledge about the market. She has been extremely responsive and knows how to work around unexpected issues. Darcy was able to get a good deal for the buying. We also ended up selling our old house through her. Overall it was a great experience working with her and would strongly recommend her. read more

As a real estate agent who prides herself on professionalism, I knew I needed to find an equally competent and diligent representative to help us when it came time to sell our longtime family home in Los Gatos. I couldn't be happier that we chose to work with Janelle and Eric. They patiently managed a sensitive selling process, all the while adeptly and expertly dealing with a complicated party on the other side of our transaction. They were always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to make sure each member of our family felt comfortable throughout the entire process. And they were able to achieve an incredible sale price for us! We are so grateful to them and would highly recommend them to anyone look to buy or sell a home in the South Bay. My wife and I recently sold our Eichler home with Eric and Janelle and their team. From start to finish they were amazing. We wanted a realtor who knew the area, who knew Eichlers and how to represent them to buyers, and someone with years of market experience that we could trust to guide us. The Boyengas have a great energy, and from day one we could see their depth of experience. They were fully engaged from beginning to end. They made the whole process so easy that there really was very little for us to do, from preparing the house, to deciding on the right price and time to list, to showing the house, and eventually choosing an offer and closing escrow. Their entire team is a well-oiled machine. And they got a result for us that was more than we could have had hoped for. We are so glad we chose to work with Eric and Janelle! read more

I am an attorney. Janelle and Eric Boyenga sold my clients' home with exceptional professionalism and efficiency. I highly recommend their service. read more

When it came time to sell our Eichler home, the best decision we made was to work with Janelle and Eric at Compass. We didn't have a lot of time to manage the fix-up project. Janelle stepped in and made the whole process so simple: we packed our stuff and she took care of nearly everything else. Really. From compiling a punch list of things that needed to be fix, to staging the house, Janelle and Eric handled all of it. It was always very clear what was happening, when it would happen, and how much it would cost (approximately). We could have vetoed any change, but we decided to leave it all in Janelle's hands. We're glad we did. At the end of the day, the house was on the market for 5 days and had multiple offers over the asking price. Of course nobody can guarantee this kind of result, but Janelle/Eric got it for us. read more

We recently bought the perfect home for our family. Paula Wells and the Boyenga team were great through the whole process. They were patient with us as we were very particular about the home we wanted for our family, and they helped us stay under budget and not get into bidding wars for homes that weren't right for our family. Even though it took a little longer to find our home due to starting in the off-season and holding out for the right home at the right price, we found it and were able to get it. Of all the houses we looked at this was the best one for our family. Paula was responsive throughout and helped us make the best offer for us. She didn't just push us into a quick sale for more than we should be paying. We loved working with Paula and the Boyenga team and would highly recommend her to others looking to buy a home. read more

About three months ago, we purchased our very first home in south bay with Darcy's help and would like to note how phenomenal she was. Several things make her an excellent realtor, especially for working with first-time homeowners: 1) She's extremely well-connected and has great local knowledge. In fact, a large fraction of the sellers' agents we met during open houses had worked with her in the past. 2) She has intimate knowledge of the process : she had us going from knowing nothing about the home buying process to completing the preapproval process, visiting open houses, reading disclosures with confidence, putting together a competitive offer, and so on. 3) She introduced us to a fantastic mortgage lending team at Wells Fargo, who made the process of financing seamless; 4) As a member of the Boyenga Team, she has access to an efficient back-office team who can literally put together an offer in hours, which is so important in the Bay area. 5) After we purchased the home, she also gave us great ideas for renovating it (and provided us with contacts of various contractors). In short, she made a difficult process look easy and we were able to purchase a beautiful home at just the right time (before interest rates rose significantly). We were thoroughly satisfied with the entire experience and would recommend her without hesitation to others looking for a buyer's agent in south bay. read more

We pursued Eric and Jenelle because of their presence in the area. We knew what we wanted in a realtor and interviewed several but they seemed the most knowledgeable and aligned with our goals. Easy to work with, organized, personable, flexible, knowledgeable and caring. They got us the perfect price and the closing was very smooth. I can't say enough good about the Boyangas. I felt very good during the process and trusted them implicitly! If you select them you'll be glad you did! read more

Darcy Richards, Janelle and Eric Boyenga were an amazing team. They helped us close our home in record time. They were professional end to end, responsive, and really knew the local market. They operated as a team which was helpful - pitching in for each other and ensuring that nothing got dropped along the way. Collectively they were excellent on communication, had plenty of ideas on how to improve our property prior to putting it up on the market, gave us balanced advice on what were the right investments to give us better ROI. They had a set of service professionals and offered us a shortcut to engage with them to help us upgrade our property before the sale - painting, yard, flooring, etc. They were deeply aware of various marketing strategies to optimize sale price, timing, and level of effort on our end. We landed up with an excellent price in an extraordinarily short amount of time. Thank you Darcy, Janelle, Eric and rest of team Boyenga. read more

My house is in Cupertino so I thought it would sell easily with Redfin. When it didn't sell after 4 months on the market I enlisted the Boyenga Team. They brought great knowledge of the Cupertino area and expertise in preparing the home more completely and paid for staging my home. They understand market timing and have sophisticated pricing stategies that made it easier to overcome the objection of the nearby freeway. My house sold in 4 days the second time around at a price over asking with multiple offers. Great job Boyenga Team!!! Darcy is very professional and helped us buy a great home for a very reasonable price. She even convinced us to lower the offer by 50k at the last minute, after talking to the seller's agent. We had been working with a different agent for 2 months and losing out on every offer. Within 2 weeks of changing agents, Darcy got us a great home. We will definitely reach out to Darcy when it's time to sell our home! read more

Darcy is amazing! When my wife and I decided to buy a home in one of the most aggressive and expensive markets in all of California, and the US as a whole, Darcy was a godsend. Darcy was on the spot with her assessments of pricing. Even when we bid on homes and didn't win, Darcy's estimates of where the price would end were spot on. She didn't hold punches in telling us what our real chances were of getting a bid accepted. In other cases, she was very aggressive about making sure that we understood that certain markets were not good investments for our long-term plans for a home and the potential growth of certain neighborhoods. She had no qualms about telling us that we shouldn't even bother looking at homes that were great on paper, but not so good in reality. She knows her market and knows it very well. When we finally settled on the home that we ultimately bought, she was aggressive with being one of the first offers and was able to connect with the selling agent and negotiate the finer details, price, and manage the process. Throughout the process, she kept us in the loop and made sure that we knew every step as it happened, including the hiccups. As hiccups happen when spending this kind of money; Darcy managed each and every one of them quickly, efficiently, and was available at the drop of a hat to help move the process along. We are more than happy with the price we paid, and are already seeing similar properties in our neighborhood selling for more; a sure sign that she helped to negotiate a very aggressive deal on a very aggressive timeline. When we're ready to sell this home or buy another, we know exactly who will manage that process for us read more

Boy we loved this team! Janelle is a hoot. We'd first used a colleague of theirs in SF who got us a great sale 3 years ago. They are teamed with Compass a State of the art realty company that uses the latest technology to find buyers. Then this year my Father passed away in SJ and it was time to sell his house. We didn't have the focus, energy, time or cash for needed upgrades to makeover the house. And we didn't know how much to spend or any area contractors since we live outside the Bay Area now. Janelle handled everything. They new what to upgrade and what not to change. Saving us money. I did nothing but shake their hands and then sign a few documents along the way via DocuSign on my phone. The house needed far more than paint. It still had old popcorn ceilings, scraped up floors, dinged door frames. Old carpet, old bathrooms and a terrible dirt and weeds backyard. Janelle told us about the program they have which loaned us the cash upfront to pay for all the contractors for the upgrades we'd need at ZERO interest that we could simply pay off at closing from the proceeds. No cash needed nor fees. And they have their own contractors. A Godsend in this market. No one can get contractors right now but they got all our construction completed in 30 days. I never thought the house could look so nice for so little. They scraped off the popcorn, tore out carpet and an oven, 2 toilets, added new molding put in popular flooring, new light fixtures and paint, closet doors, Bathrooms. Even Lawn and sprinklers. At about a third less and a fraction of the time I expected. They found a buyer and sold it for over our best hoped-for price and before it was placed on the MLS. We didn't have to stage it which saved money, nor do tours which saved time. Their first introductory walk through with me to escrow's close was 60 days, including construction. They were fun easy and responsive by phone and text and their contractors made it a cinch. I just let go and they did it all. I like that they managed the cash free contracting. And I couldn't be happier. You can't go wrong with this team. read more
