We looked around for quotes from a few different companies that had good reviews, and after talking with Karl, we decided Envirocare sounded like the best fit for us. Karl was extremely knowledgeable and friendly on the phone, and we felt confident in our decision. He came out and was able to locate the problem area right away. (They were coming in through the crawl space- whyyy???) He treated our home, and then did the perimeter outdoors. He was very polite to myself and my baby, and I liked him a lot. He informed us that we had a 90 day warranty, and that if any ants came back within the 90 days, that he would come back out for free. He said that if he needed to come out after the 90 days- which is when it would also be warmer, that it would just be $100. That all sounded great to us. He said to give the treatments about 1 week to work, and if we had any issues after that to give him a text or call. After he left I immediately recommended him to my friend who had also just bought a house that had an ant problem as well. He came out to her home within a few days and did a treatment there. She also really liked him. After a few weeks went by I started to notice a few ants again. Nowhere near the amount we had previously, but enough in the same 3 spots that I grew concerned. Karl came back out on a (thankfully) warm and dry day to do another treatment. He confirmed that the original nest in the crawlspace was gone, and said that the stragglers were just coming in from outside. While treating the outside he did spot some carpenter ants in the yard and told us to keep an eye out to make sure those guys didn't make their way into the house. He also suggested trimming the hedges back about 6" to make sure they weren't touching the house, that way ants or other bugs couldn't climb up the bushes and onto/into the house. As first time homeowners, this is something we had no idea about! Karl is definitely very knowledgeable and thorough and goes above and beyond at each visit to make sure he doesn't miss a thing. His prices are very competitive and he doesn't make you sign a year long contract for constant treatments. Also- safe products for those of us with little ones or pets! If you're suddenly faced with an unfortunate bug problem, definitely give Envirocare a call!

I called to let them know that I'm not getting the service that I paid for and while they then sent somebody out, they refused to credit back the services that were missed, even as he was standing right on my weed-covered lawn. Additionally, the person that did come out sprayed half of my landscaping. FOLKS: They last touched my lawn in the late summer of '23 and the landscaping they sprayed is STILL recovering. When I called and asked to speak with the owner about all this, the owner couldn't be bothered to come out and refused any accommodations; they offered to service my lawn again at full price and that's all. They basically told me to shove it. Legitimately one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. You couldn't pay me to have these idiots come to my place again.
