Knowing that I would later post on Yelp I went around the store, taking photos. This set off one of the associates. I tried to explain to her what I was doing and why I was doing it, but it seemed as though the moment she heard Yelp things just got worse. We were the only shoppers in the store and I have never experienced a situation where it was a problem to take photos. She then went over to the other associates in the store, they whispered a few things, and it seemed as though we became invisible. No one seemed to want to assist us after she informed everyone that i was taking photos for Yelp. We became frustrated with the service we were receiving and decided it was time to go. We went over to the counter and proceeded to wait for someone to come around and check us out. However, when I say it seemed as though no one wanted to help us I truly meant it. It wasn't until an associate name Lisa came in from her break and everything turned around. She asked us if we had received any help yet, and we told her no. She immediately clocked in and got to work with assisting us. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She explained all the different deals and things that they had going on. She even took the time to go through all of the cologne samples with my best friend I greatly appreciate that she went above and beyond, and made sure that he felt special on his day. This one in Short Pump is right in the center of the mall on the the lower level. It's always beautifully designed and filled with cute goodies. I love starting at the right to adore all the home goods and then making my way through the 50% off sale items, shoes, accessories, and clothes. They have plenty of spacious fitting rooms to try things on. In Richmond you're able to visit this one in Short Pump or the one in Stony Point. Both are fabulous. I rarely need help, but the people who work here that I've interacted with at the fitting rooms or cash registers have always been sweet. There are so many gorgeous things here.

Anyone who has ever been to an Anthro store knows about its gorgeously designed clothes, jewelry and housewares... but the staff here for the opening was on their A game! So many greeters, cashiers, floor staff helping the excited customers. My daughter and I were the first customers and we were so geeking out about it! The food was Ah-mazing!! Skewers of grilled chicken with cilantro lime sauce, Caesar salad cups, lobster phyllo tarts, black bean sliders with mango chutney, sweet potato ham biscuits, lavender and lemon cupcakes, macarons, and a beverage bar! I might have missed something, but let's just say that I went home with a happy tummy! I purchased some adorbs black pants and a pair of tortoise shell hoops, along with some cute office folders! Our hubbies came along, had a beer, held our purchases and enjoyed watching us shop! It was a great crowd but not at all chaotic, everything was fun, smooth sailing and an absolute blast! And my hubby bought me a surprise gift... guess I'll have to wait for our anniversary to find out what it is!! Kudos to Anthro! Great event!!

Twirling, giggling, sitting in the floor, coming in and out of the rooms over and over again. I suggest the dressing bf room attendant check in on them more and gently encourage them not to sit in floor, twirls, etc while so many people are waiting. Just a suggestion to make everyone's experience nicer.

On my recent visit, I was looking for two gifts that I had spotted on the website. I was so happy to see that online, a potential customer could find which boutique has the item in stock. If the item you want to ship is a gift, there is also free gift wrap and a message field to add. Anyway, I went in person to see the compact mirrors I was hoping to buy. One salesperson greeted me immediately as I walked in, and she was very helpful in showing me every mirror the store had in stock. I zeroed in on the one I wanted, and it was another person, Tracey, who closed the deal. I mentioned I needed the mirrors sent as gifts to two different addresses, and she took care of me! She said the mirrors can be sent to the store and the gift wrap will be free of charge. She even handed me two Brighton-branded, blank cards so I could write a personalized note; they will be included in the packages before they get sent off! Tracey also gave me the latest store catalog so I could see the newer items in stock. I forgot to mention that I was also offered a tray full of goodies - a small water bottle, chocolate chip cookie, or a chocolate. I have never been to a store with that before. I really appreciate the water bottle. Overall, my experience here was amazing. The staff was above and beyond what I was expecting. The store itself is packed full of silver jewelry, fun bags, comfortable sandals, and other cute items. There were a couple of gift areas for items less than $30 and $50. Plus, this brand does coordination like no other, so you can buy an entire set of things to match. This is definitely a good spot to visit if you're looking for that special gift for someone or just an upgraded treat for yourself. Bottom line: The people working here offer the warmest service. First of all, the woman helping us was very helpful and didn't mind at all that I seemed to request one tray after another for viewing a variety of pieces, not really knowing what I was looking for. I found a great pair of hoops almost immediately, which was fantastic as I'm oddly picky about hoop styles. We scoured the store and found a great necklace option though it was silver and a quick text revealed she preferred gold. While the store didn't have quite as many gold pieces as I would have liked, I did find a great pair of costume jewelry earrings to add to my gift for my friend... and the silver necklace I'd been considering for her, well, I ended up getting that for myself.
