I was ensured twice everything is fine I will get the truck no problem and two days before my move I get a call, I have to drive 45 min away to pick up the truck and I don't have a car. That is not what I agreed to and totally ruins our plans. I called to rectify the situation I had to wait 20 min the first time then 20 min the second time when they failed to connect me to scheduling. They couldn't help me... I don't understand why they bother taking reservations if they can't fulfill them. When I go to cancel my reservation online, it say your reservation is complete see you on the day time and location... So I have to go on hold another 20 minutes to cancel with a person. I Will never use again. I will try every other company first. Went with Bristol car and truck rental in the end.

TLDR; Garbage, don't get fooled by their friendly veneer, they have no interest in actual customer…read moreservice. If need more than a basic locker to access 9-5/M-F, look somewhere else. Originally picked XYZ because of their customer service, even though they were more expensive, and the staff seemed to understand after hours access was necessary for people who worked for a living, and were renovating their house so thus needed to move things in and out of the locker on a daily basis. They were fine granting it in 2 week blocks. Then something changed internally and we were forced to call the facility every day, during the day, to get access that night, even though everyone is issued a unique access code. That was annoying enough, but boy was I wrong. Today, the day I was moving a large set of furniture to the locker, the staff forgot to grant the after-hours access even though I talked to them in person! (Their system is to write it on a post-it note and do it whenever they feel like it). Of course I also only find out at 7:05PM right after the office closes and no one picks up the phone. I now have to pay an extra $200 to keep the moving truck another day and park it in a random outdoor parking lot, unsupervised. In that one failure, the storage locker has now costed us almost the cost of the locker itself. I met a couple my first day at 7:10PM who was in a similar situation where they had driven down from Barrie only to find after hours access hadn't been given to them and there was no one they could call to get access. I should have taken that as a sign and cancelled my locker right then and there. I honestly would have been fine to pay an extra $10-$20 extra for blanket after-hours access, but instead their senior leadership choose to annoy their customers for no reason.

Terrible new manager…read more This place used to be great when Jackie was running it. I would have recommended it to anyone, but the new manager is terrible. My husband showed up on one weekend only to discover that we'd been locked out of our unit before we'd even had a chance to pay our bill. There are plenty of other storage facilities in the neighbourhood with more pleasant service.

I've used Benini Moving on 3 occasions in the Toronto Area…read more May 18 2012 single person move - residential house to building May 29th 2015 2 bedroom move - building to building Jan 17 2016 3 bedroom move - building to residential house On 2 of the 3 moves, I've had Angelo or his son help out for this move either on their own with another mover or both together. The cost has risen of course on each move as inflation cost incurred. Also the cost increase due to what was being moved. The last one took around 6 or 7 hours only due to the amount of things we had to wait for the elevator in the building. 1 hour lunch was part of cost as expected for the longer duration. Angelo and team are very professional and very careful with things. Extra care was provided in fragile items with extra blankets for padding and very proper organizing within the truck for weight distribution and protecting of items. On a side note, I had forgotten that I paid a deposit on the last move and Angelo personally notified me of the extra payment and return the fee. Very honest too. I've even had my younger brother use their services for a heavy haul into Bolton after my 3rd move.

They refused to take their "safety shoes" (aka running shoes) off inside the house, therefore making our house dirty again (even after we had hired professional cleaners). They didn't even wear shoe covers! I understand safety but they weren't even wearing safety shoes. And they wouldn't wear shoe covers or anything. Exactly the opposite of what they said on their site. - They took a one hour lunch. We offered to buy them lunch. They said they'd stop for 15 minutes at Tim Horton's but they took an hour. I think they should have gotten a break for lunch, for sure. However they took an hour for lunch. So we paid them $100 for lunch. Not necessary and was NOT included in the quote. - They aren't very competent. We said "everything in the living room". However, each box they brought it, they asked where it went. What part of "everything in the living room" do you not understand?? - They were slow. We didn't have a ton of boxes but it took them 2 hrs to load them all. I wouldn't go back.
