At the time of purchase, everything appeared to be completed properly. We received a receipt, were given a delivery date, and had every reason to believe the transaction was finalized. Then, just one day before our scheduled delivery, we were contacted and told that the $500 down payment had not gone through because of a technical issue. This was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. We completed the purchase in good faith, received confirmation of the transaction, and made arrangements based on the delivery date we were given. At no point were we informed that there was a problem with the payment until the last minute. If there was a technical issue with processing the down payment, the responsibility should have been on the company to identify and communicate that problem promptly--not wait until the day before delivery. This lack of communication created unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and uncertainty after we had already committed to spending several thousand dollars with your company. A purchase of this size should come with a much higher level of professionalism, communication, and customer service. Instead, we were left dealing with a problem that was caused by a technical issue on the company's end. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in the company and has made what should have been a straightforward purchase extremely frustrating.

What doesn't make sense to me is that the original couches took an entire month to arrive, but suddenly a brand-new replacement can arrive within a week. That makes me question how I can be sure I am actually receiving a new couch instead of the damaged one simply being repaired. They also told us that if we chose to keep the damaged couch and have it repaired, we would still have to pay basically full price, with only $50 taken off. For furniture that arrived damaged before we even received it, I do not think $50 off is reasonable. Overall, the lack of communication and the way this situation has been handled has been very frustrating.
