They are ridiculous ridiculously excessive. Video games should not cost $1.25 a pop, it should be a quarter or $.50. Go karts should not be $10. Mini golf should not be $10. That's just ridiculous. Also what sucked about a lot of of the games is that, let's say it's a racing game, and you came in first place, your game is over. You don't even get to play anymore. You have to PAY more. Takes all of the fun out of it when you're constantly having to pay. I DID have fun, and I enjoyed myself quite a bit, but the price is really excessive. Probably won't ever go back unless it's with a group of friends and we just feel like blowing a lot of money. I feel terrible for parents because a couple of kids could easily burn through $50 in a couple of hours here.

Young woman in front was more interested in getting phone number of other co worker and talking about plans after work--time and place for that not in front of me thanks...took about 3 minutes until we were finally helped by a young man. Mini golf course was fun and clean, for the most part. Can't help nature debris. Ok. Fun arcade games for the grandchildren. Bathrooms clean. However young woman at prize counter was not thrilled to be there it seems--I know it was closer to close but come on, my grandchildren just wanted to exchange their tickets for a piece of candy. Whatever, we didn't let it ruin our night. Overall would probably go during the day maybe employees would be more fun and engaging...don't like this night crew! It's fun land DAY and NIGHT

I am so happy I took them here! This review is only for the arcade side since there are lots to do here. This place has so many options as far as arcade games goes. There were rows and rows of claw machines too. There were the typical "claw" ones and something I haven't seen before; where you don't pick up the prize, but you try to knock it over. That took some getting used to, but I think my nephews preferred the picking up method. The machines were in good condition and looked like they could be from Japan. The cabinets looked different than the typical ones you see at Dave & Busters; etc. The prizes were super cute plushies that were super Kawaii and other popular characters. For the bigger prizes it cost 14+ credit per play and the smaller prizes range from 9- 11 credit per play. It does add up quickly and gets $$$ but it kept my nephews busy for hours and they had fun winning 5 plushies! Another thing to note; the customer service was great. My nephews wanted to try to bunny VR game but after technical issues that couldn't be resolved; we were compensated with the credits back to our card and the gentlemen helping us even gave my nephews each a free plushie of their choice. Overall, a great time was had here at Round 1. I would definitely take my nephews back here.

Single player here and not looking to join a league, but let me share my experience with this store. Jim and Mike were working. I had already had a price in my head with what I wanted to spend. They offer a package deal for around $170, but because I wanted a little better ball, I was able to upgrade for a little more. My finger measurements were accurate, I was in and out in less than an hour. But I really enjoyed talking to these two gentlemen. They aren't trying to upsell you with stuff you don't need. They have a passion for bowling and it shows. If you think you can get a better deal on Amazon, you are wrong. You won't get the service that you would at the store. You would still have to bring your ball in for them to drill, so whatever you think you saved, you would actually he in the negative with all costs combined. This store has everything a bowler needs! Not to mention the experience and dedication that Jim and Mike showed me. There is a reason customers make long drives to come here. They offer great hours and are usually closed only on Sundays, but check for holidays as they might close also. The only small downside is the parking lot is tight and not a lot of spots, but with the service, who cares? Another small thing, they didn't send me home with a shoe box, a bowling bowl box and the bowling bag wasn't in plastic. Everything was put together for me, like I could head right to the bowling alley. I'll only use this shop for my bowling needs! Thanks Jim and Mike !

DO NOT USE THIS CPA SERVICE! I'm not prone to taking the time to write reviews however in this case…read moreI decided it was worth the effort. I'm a small business owner. I started my business in 2010 and sought accounting and tax preparation as a result. At the time I started doing business the accounting company was called Bowling and Franklin. I retained their services around 2010 or 11. I dealt with the same CPA for the entire time, originally at an office on 610 in North Stafford and later at the main office in Fredericksburg at 1207 Charles Street. Every year since starting to do business with BF they filled an extension for me. At some point the business was renamed Bishop Farmer & CO. This past year in 2024 I went through the same process with the CPA as in previous years. I provided my 1099s, W2s and all pertinent tax information, they prepared the federal and state returns, I signed them just like the previous 14 years of taxes. This year I was assessed a late payment fee by the IRS for estimated taxes of $180. I have never been assessed any late payment or filing fee in all the previous years of doing business with Bishop Farmer. I paid the fee and consulted with my CPA. I was told it was a software glitch with some accounting software in use by the CPA that it should have been caught. My filing fee with B&F was $500. I don't think its unreasonable to reduce the bill to offset the IRS fee, especially considering it was a software glitch on the part of the CPA and not to mention over 10 years of doing business with this firm. They agreed to reduce the fee. I paid the $319 to BF and as far as I was concerned this matter was closed. Apparently, Bishop Farmer felt differently as they sent me a letter via snail mail indicating that they would no longer do business with me and that I should seek other accounting services. Considering the long history of business together and the fact that this nominal fee was assessed due to an issue on the part of the CPA this is unreasonable and totally unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business.

Perhaps other CPAs might be better but I found out this year by another CPA that this firm's CPA…read more(initial LL) completely ripped me off and didn't do much to help me getting my deductions right. I had some complicated cases with house sale but I did most job to get all the information together and as we all know, CPAs can use their professional software to sort things out these days. Now, I got bill of $1250!!! even after I told her that I wouldn't be able to pay more than $600 since that was the highest quote I got from other CPAs. I told the firm secretary that I wouldn't pay anything more than $600 since that was what I told the CPA and I don't see the reason for paying double of what I told her to pay. The worst part is that a new CPA I found this year said very little deduction was made last year even if I gave the list of expenses to this firm's CPA, so I ended up paying additional tax and he needs to fix this this year. I will never work with this firm again. One good thing that I got from working with this firm is that now I review all Tax return thoroughly to make sure all necessary deductions are filed in correctly.

The arcade games are pretty expensive and they blew through the $15 in less than 15 mins. The mini golf course was short and compacted on the main floor so the courses were not as fancy or intricate as some larger outdoor mini golf courses. The boys finished all 18 holes in less than 30 mins all by themselves. The laser tag was fun too. The vests were pretty big and heavy and it looked so big our littlest guy but he held his own. It seemed crowded when the summer camp group of kids were there, but when they all left, it wasn't crowded at all. Coming from LA, where anything fun is crowded, it was nice to not have to wait in long lines. We wanted to try the laser maze, but it wasn't working. The workers were all teenagers, and the manager guy looked maybe early 20's but they were all helpful. It was fun to spend a couple hours in the hot afternoon being indoors.

But they loved it, especially the gigantic green monster that would occasionally pop up and tower over the course. There are many different packages you can purchase. I ended up going with the combo golf and arcade package. It was a fairly good deal and I knew there was no way I would be getting out of this place without my kids playing a few rounds of Air Hockey and Skee-ball. I also enjoy a good arcade game myself. Some of the games, not all of them, dispense digital tickets. We managed to collect enough to get some fun toys including a spider that would crawl down a wall and an ice cream cone where you can launch the ice cream right off. My son thought this was the best invention ever! Overall, our time here was spectacular. We can't wait to visit again!

Rest of the food was fine, nothing memorable but nothing bad. If you're just here to eat, it's decent. Drinks/Bar: Disappointing Bar service was really inattentive. Had to flag someone down multiple times and waited way too long between rounds. That said, Happy Hour pricing is a good deal if you can actually get a bartender's attention. Bowling: Frustrating Biggest letdown. The bowling machine broke down twice during our game. Took a while for staff to even come help, and when they finally got it running, they didn't extend our time to make up for it. We didn't even get to finish the game we paid for. Overall, food's decent and Happy Hour prices are nice, but the slow bar service and the bowling issues with zero resolution really soured the night. Not sure I'd rush back unless they improve the attentiveness and customer service when things go wrong.
