While the store has a decent selection…read moreof products at more than reasonable prices, their customer service leaves a LOT to be desired. It wasn't that the service was bad, it was incompetent. In the 30 minutes that I was wondering around the store I was never greeted or asked if I needed help. This was despite the fact that the store was NOT busy. There were less than a dozen customers in the store at the time. Once I found what I was looking for, a couple of bags of practice golf balls that were on sale, I took them to the counter to check out. The young person working the register didn't know how to lookup the products to ring me up since the products lacked price tags. She then called for a manager to help her out. Not once did anyone apologize for me having to wait. After that, the balls showed up at the normal, non-sale, price. Since the manager had walked away, the young person at the register was clearly confused with what to do. At this point, I apologized for bothering her and asked her to cancel the sale. Again, no apology on the part of Dunham's. It was clear, from today's experience, that the Wilson location of Dunham's is poorly trained on customer service. In today's competitive retail environment that simply can't happen.

The store was also fairly warm, a good 10° cooler than the outside but the outside being 98°, it was still pretty dang hot. I went to the back to look for shoes and there's nobody working in that area. There was another gentleman I'm trying on shoes on his own, I wanted to get a size from the back if they had it, that I didn't see out on the shelf. And there was nobody in sight but I could hear people talking from the fishing area. Walk around the corner and looked and there were four employees standing in there talking about girls and Friday night, etc., etc. Etc.. I stood there looking at them and they said you need help and I said no I've been here long enough and I went upfront. In total, I've been there a good 20 minutes trying to find what I needed with. No help or offer to help or nobody in sight to help. On my way out, there is a lady upfront and I mentioned to her, hey you guys guys in the back that are doing nothing but talking about partying and stuff, I'm trying to find help, there's an older guy sitting there having to take care of himself, he's not getting help. She, the manager, looked me dead and said what did you ask for help? I said one I shouldn't have to go, but there is nobody to ask except for all the people over in the fishing aisle talking about what girl they're gonna take out on Friday night and or what they did last weekend, inappropriate conversation for work. They're standing around doing nothing. She said well it is hot in here and I told them to take it easy, and I thought well then you must not need any business so I left. I won't be back.

I also ordered a size XXL sweatshirt as a Christmas gift, and the sweatshirt I received says it's XXL but fits like a tight women's medium. So now I have this overpriced sweatshirt that I cannot give as a present, cannot wear myself, and I cannot return it or get a refund because of their store policy. Went to pharmacy after 5pm to be told it would be "on the truck tomorrow". Unacceptable. When my doctor sends in a prescription she has a reasonable expectation it will be filled same day. The pharmacy doesn't know better than the doctor when I need medication. That added to long lines, long wait times with phone calls and unexpected "temporary" closings leads me to believe the pharmacy is poorly managed. If it's a corporate issue, they need to get it figured out. Terrible service at this location. Go elsewhere.
