While looking for insurance online, I read often times when paying cash, you can get a discount. I…read morecalled Dr. Chastains office and explained my mother was seen and needed dental work and would they offer a discount when paying cash up front. I was told they do, and they offer a 20% discount. When my mom arrived she was told that was not true, and they only offer it on cleanings. The lady said we spoke to a hygienist and that they didnt know. They refused to honor it saying that's too much and they don't do that for anyone. I explained that we could have gotten insurance and post poned the appointment if necessary, and the lady questioned everything I said like I was lying (I've had insurance for years, so I have plenty of knowledge on how insurance works). She then proceeded to call my mom rude, and a liar. Saying my mom said she received a discount at Dr. Devaughns office, and that wasn't true. It is true, my mom paid $12,000 and received a discount, and my sister receives discounts when paying at the same office my mother was referring to. I have years in customer service, including being a supervisor for a major airline, and I was appalled at the customer service my mother and I received, specifically from Paula!! We will go elsewhere. It's not that my mom can't pay, it's that when you tell someone something, and you acknowledge it is your mistake you should honor it what you said. Also, the name calling was unprofessional and uncalled for. I was going to post the same review on their fb page, but was blocked after 1 minute of me posting this. All I have said was true, and not one time did I call anyone names. I guess it's smart of them to only allow good reviews so people don't see the bad!

He was so rude and I felt he was very condescending towards me. The staff again were very nice. They said they would call me for the next appointment. I waited and waited and never was called. I finally called them and the woman I spoke to was very short and rude and all she would say is "you need to call your regular dentist" (who referred me) over and over and over. What a terrible way to treat a patient whom he said was "a model patient" because I just try to do what they ask and not move. Such a bad experience.
