Communication was prompt and on point, he listened to my concerns and even fabricated a custom return air plenum to ensure I had sufficient airflow back into the unit per my request due to the amount of available space. Everything was installed according to the manufacturer guidelines and no corners were cut. He cleaned my existing ductwork (wow, the amount of dust and particulate that came out!) and sealed the grills to ensure maximum energy efficiency and the cleanliness of the air that I will be breathing every day. The guy was supposed to stop by and help fix my Williams Furnace earlier today and when he didn't show, I decided to call him and see what happened. His response was "Oh I got busy and couldn't make it"! I'm like.... so were you planning on calling me to let me know? He says, "actually probably not." So since I still have my furnace issue, I ask if he can come look at it next day - "well I got a bunch of jobs and maybe I can squeeze it in" he tells me. I ask him if he is committing to come out or not and if this is how he conducts business. He vacillates and then says "maybe we should just end this call." I've dealt with tradesmen that don't show up before but most call me and none cop the kind of attitude that this guy did. Our heater stopped working on a cold Saturday afternoon. I had called a few heating and air places around North County but Bowman Aire was the only one that answered. Tim said he wasn't doing any service calls that day but could hear I had kids and didn't want me to have to wait through the weekend with no heat and so he gave me some pointers for self diagnosing the issue. Our furnace stopped working Friday night, and after watching several YouTube videos on Saturday I realized I needed a professional. I found Tim of Bowman Aire, and several other vendors, via Yelp. Understandably most companies are closed on Saturday but Tim responded almost immediately and showed up an hour later. After diagnosing the problem he realized he needed a part which he didn't have but could get on Monday. Very happy with services provided by Bowman. Tim showed up on time and quickly spotted a potential issue with my brand new furnace. He explained that the return installed was too small and that it would make the furnace wear out sooner than necessary. He'll be back to fix that in a few months. He also fixed a potential entry point for vermin in one of the kitchen vents and carefully patched it with some very sticky duct tape.
