If you're looking for something truly unique in Jacksonville, The Cove Social Club is such a hidden…read moregem! Located in a 101-year-old building that used to be an A&P grocery store, this space perfectly blends history, creativity, and community. I love that so much of the original architecture has been preserved -- and the fact that it was designed by a woman architect back in the day makes it even more special. The Cove offers so much: daily coffee service, cooking and cake-decorating classes in "The Lab," yoga and meditation on Wellness Wednesdays, Social Sundays focused on mindfulness and connection, and even Art & Wine nights where you can sip, snack, and paint while listening to live music. They're also about to open Sticks & Stones, a private cigar club next door that will be available to members -- it's going to be such a great addition to the experience. The next membership cohort begins November 1st, and spots are limited to just 150 members to keep things community-focused and personal. They also host networking events, lectures, and business education workshops, so it's a great mix of social and professional. Whether you come for a coffee, an event, or to meet new people, The Cove Social Club is one of those places that makes you feel instantly connected and inspired.

Our art experience included all the necessary art supplies and the privilege being guided through the creative process by our awesome art instructor, Mia. Mia was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. She spent time with each one of us, explaining techniques and offering tips and motivation. The Affluent Concierge provided a unique and delightful experience, with great attention to detail and heartwarming personal touches. Thank you, Nicole, Mia and Mr. Sherlock, we look forward to our next event!

A decent hotel on the surface that unfortunately falls short where it matters most: sleep. The…read moreproperty feels clean and well kept, the beds and pillows are comfortable enough, and the overall vibe is pleasant. But if a good night's rest is your priority, you may want to look elsewhere. The AC unit is loud and occasionally puts out an unpleasant smell, which was a nuisance throughout the stay. The walls are paper thin. Conversations from neighboring rooms came through clearly, and the hallway doors slam constantly with no relief. We managed to doze off between 11:30pm and 4am before being jolted awake by slamming doors and a neighboring couple having a full-blown argument in the hallway. Not exactly the relaxing night we had in mind. A few other small gripes: no blackout curtains, though the shades do a reasonable job, light creeps in from the sides. There is also no ice machine on the floors, though they do provide pre-bagged ice at the front desk downstairs. On the brighter side, breakfast was a nice touch if it is included in your rate. It is not a buffet but a made-to-order setup with a choice of omelet, burrito, or sandwich. We went with a fully loaded veggie option and it came generously stuffed. Nothing extraordinary taste-wise, but a solid and filling start to the day. The gym was a good size, though the free weight selection skews heavy, so if you prefer lighter weights you may find yourself out of luck. Clean, functional, and fairly priced for what it is, but bring earplugs.

The day before the wedding he was setting up tables and refused to let us decorate in advanced while he was there setting up stating he needed to be compensated for his time (he already had to be there) he was drinking our liquor at our open bar and kept hitting on our bartender (who told us he made her uncomfortable)even though he had a wedding ring on. Advised me that we needed to pay extra money to use their sound/lighting equipment and out of 100+ weddings only one used the Their own equipment and lost the ability to play sound. Our DJ had all his own equipment and preferred to use his. He advised us against it citing their equipment was pre wired and was the only equipment that works (trying to charge us extra to use) I declined and our DJ had no issue whatsoever. Lucas is greedy and money hungry as he is the only one who sets up and cleans up the events. He acted like he had a team of people but no it's just him and you must pay him more money if you need the venue longer than 8 hours. It was extremely inconsiderate of Lucas to not allow us to drop off our decor the night before while he was setting up tables. We didn't ask him to help us unload anything just showed up asking to drop off decor and was told I would have to compensate him for his time there even though he was already there. He's nice up front until he gets your money and then changes.

Lucas was great to work with, professional, and offered some great ideas. Aaron, the sound engineer, was exactly what our rag-tag band needed and had us set up and sounding great in no time. There were approx 150 guests and we had plenty of room, parking worked out, the facility was clean and ready to go. I highly recommend 6th Ave North for any event and you won't be disappointed.

It was a little loud but considering they were busy for Mother's day, it was to be expected. We ordered two appetizers: Bloody Mary Deviled Eggs & Bacon. Both great but the bacon is definitely a must try. Great flavor and melts in your mouth. For our entrees, we ordered shrimp and grits, hangover burger, farmers breakfast, and rotisserie farm bird. Everything was plated very nice, hot, and tasted delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive. At the end of our meal, he recommended we try the whiskey cake which was absolutely phenomenal. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come back!

I had the Crab Cake Benedict & my wife had the Crispy Fried Chicken over a bed of greens. Great presentation and great flavor! We also had a couple of adult beverages. I had the Mary Me (Bloody Mary) and my wife had the Espresso Martini!. Again, excellent cocktails! If visiting Jacksonville or are a resident, you need to try this place out. Great decor, vast selection of bourbon & whiskey as well as any other liquor you may desire. Great for any celebration!
