This is the first PvP one I've been to. The gaming area is HUGE. The headsets fits wonderfully and the best I've put on at a VR place. We wound of loving just the straight up team death match, but they have at least 3 other game modes. Eva is a French based company and this location is the 1st Eva Esports arena in the United States here in Flower Mound Texas! We arrived 15 minutes early to sign wavers and watch a quick safety video. After that, Eric took us over to our booth and gave us a lesson on throwing, as well as showed us the different ways to throw the Axe. Once we were comfortable, Eric let us loose, but stayed nearby incase we needed him. It took us a couple of games to really get the hang of it, and once we figured it out, the fun just kept on coming. They have multiple games to choose from to keep things interesting: bullseye, tic tack toe, zombies, connect 4, and more. After your Axe Throwing session, you can keep the fun rolling in their Billiards room with a game of pool. They also have drinks, snacks, and some pretty cool swag for sale as well. The staff here is amazing. Everyone was extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Eric initially taught us how to throw and kept us entertained and engaged throughout the entire experience, which was a added benefit.
