QB

The operation manager Lacey Bundy dismissed our party concerns over faulty equipment and lanes. When I asked politely if there's anything he could do he rudely told me no then proceeded to chat with two other cashiers one named QB or at least that's what he told me was his name. Then proceeded to laugh and point at our party. He didn't even address the issue or try to solve it professionally. Our server on the other hand was great. After the confrontation Tee came over and even though she couldn't do much she at least listened and tried to make our experience better. Also Lacey was drinking on the job as he was admitting that the lane was faulty and he couldn't do anything for us.

Visited with a friend who had the summer pss which sounds like a great deal! You could get 2 games daily with free shoe rental, a little arcade credit, and when we went we got summer flavors lemonade (passion fruit, dragon fruit and cotton candy) included! When we walked in I thought it had a little bit of a funky smell but I got used to it quickly. Its smaller than the Tysons galleria area but still good. It has a row of lanes, a bar, and a small arcade. Checking in was easy and seamless, and bowling was what you would expect! They did assign us to a lane that hadn't been cleaned but the lane right next to it was empty so we sat there. Didnt ruin our experience but would have been nice to have a clean space. We played a couple games, and then moved over to the arcade space. It was great and decently clean. I would prefer the tysons location.

We can to bowl on a Friday evening and had more people show up than planned. The GM Ashley, Manager Jon, and our server were very accommodating to our large party! Also the DJ is fire!

what a horrible and miserable place. came here on a sunday night jan 5, 2025 with wife/toddler and inlaws. they won't give you a cup of water even if you order food. plus, charge you $5.50 for a sprite called starry and overpriced beers. tells me sprite has refills. turns out it's only 1 refill. because, i asked for another to get the ice for my toddler and they refused. manager here said, it's a corporate policy to not give water/ice. manager said, if you want water, then go to the water fountain. don't eat here. it's a disgrace!!!

This brings back the glory days of bowling. Think Kingpin the movie. Just kidding really, as Bowlero is fun! Is it a bit expensive? Yes. However inflation is a real issue, and plus at least you'll be entertained spending time here. Great spot to bring your friends. The retro gaming is a blast! Thank you as the kid in me approves. There's a number of bowling choices. Must say I dig the comfortable chairs. Is it a little yuppie? Yes but it's amusing. Quite good food and drinks. I also want to commend the phenomenal employees. They hire well here. If you're in the area looking for something to do, this could be a good option!

This place is my go to bowling spot. I've used it for birthdays, and Father's Day celebrations.

Georgetown

Dear reader, I had a…read morework event at Pinstripes in Georgetown and had a thoroughly good time. The location is a lovely, canal-side spot, with plenty of parking nearby and a very walkable area that makes arriving and lingering equally easy. Inside, there is loads of space for bowling and bocce, so the whole place feels lively without becoming chaotic. The food also held its own, which is not always guaranteed at a venue built for group fun. The flatbread pizzas and Caesar salad were both superb and kept everyone pleasantly satisfied. There were multiple bars, which helped the afternoon move along nicely, and the employees were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout. For a work event, it struck a very pleasing balance of organised, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. Overall, Pinstripes made for a charming outing with enough space, food, and activity to keep the whole party happy indeed afterward.

I went with a group of friends and had arrived about 35 minutes into our one hour session. I went…read moreto the desk and let them know my parties name and my shoe size. It was a bit disorganized and five or so minutes had lapsed while another group made their selections and paid. The gentleman helping me let me know there was 20 minutes left and asked if I still wanted to bowl. I looked at him oddly and said yes. Why would I ask for shoes if I didn't want to bowl? Making it to the back is pretty awkward and curves through the restaurant. We were assigned a table in the middle. We had two lanes for an hour. There is a server that comes through to serve food and drinks. It was happy hour so that was a bonus. Note- the drinks were strong. We didn't order any food, so I can't comment. There is a restaurant, so you can opt to dine afterwards. Overall it was an okay experience. There wasn't too much room for a larger party (more 6) to sit comfortably together, so several had to sit on the back bench, which wasn't ideal. I wouldn't say it wasn't a bad time, but the weird conversation at the front desk and the seating situation would make me reconsider this establishment for a larger party especially for the price tag that comes with it for such a short period of time.

Single player here and not looking to join a league, but let me share my experience with this store. Jim and Mike were working. I had already had a price in my head with what I wanted to spend. They offer a package deal for around $170, but because I wanted a little better ball, I was able to upgrade for a little more. My finger measurements were accurate, I was in and out in less than an hour. But I really enjoyed talking to these two gentlemen. They aren't trying to upsell you with stuff you don't need. They have a passion for bowling and it shows. If you think you can get a better deal on Amazon, you are wrong. You won't get the service that you would at the store. You would still have to bring your ball in for them to drill, so whatever you think you saved, you would actually he in the negative with all costs combined. This store has everything a bowler needs! Not to mention the experience and dedication that Jim and Mike showed me. There is a reason customers make long drives to come here. They offer great hours and are usually closed only on Sundays, but check for holidays as they might close also. The only small downside is the parking lot is tight and not a lot of spots, but with the service, who cares? Another small thing, they didn't send me home with a shoe box, a bowling bowl box and the bowling bag wasn't in plastic. Everything was put together for me, like I could head right to the bowling alley. I'll only use this shop for my bowling needs! Thanks Jim and Mike !

White House Bowling Alley

White House Bowling Alley

For the history nerds, there are two bowling alleys on The White House campus. The one this refers…read moreto is the Truman Bowling Alley. It was once inside the actual White House, but was moved to the Old Executive Office Building in 1955. (The original room that housed it is now the Situation Room.) There is still a bowling alley inside the actual White House, but that was built as a single-lane bowling alley in the 1970s under the Nixon Administration. The Nixon Bowling Alley isn't accessible to more White House staff, but the Truman Bowling Alley is! If you get the coveted invitation to the Truman Bowling Alley, go! Like all White House visits, you'll need to fill out a form beforehand that will get you past two security areas. (The second is like going through airport security.) The Truman Bowling Alley is in the basement of the Old Executive Office Building with clearly marked signs. Once in the basement, you'll walk through a no-frills hallway that feels more like a Cold War-era bunker. Step inside the bowling alley into a small kitchenette area with a display telling the Truman Bowling Alley's history. There's a wall of shoes for bowlers with a spray bottle to disinfect the shoes before putting them back. The back room is where you'll find two bowling lanes with one area with all kinds of balls and two electronic boards to input each bowlers' names and for keeping score. There are TV screens on the wall nearby that call out spares, strikes, etc. You can even take a photo of your group from the screen that is projected onto the TV screen. The room has photos of U.S. Presidents and guests bowling throughout the decades and a few seats along the side. The space is pretty tight. The lanes themselves come with pins attached to strings. It's a nice, fun, and special bowling alley. If you get invited, more meetings to go!
