They quoted us a price and that afternoon the heater was here. The installer came and installed it. Things went smoothly until we had high winds that night and the pilot light blew out. We relit it and didn't think about, things were good. But wait, then we noticed that the water wasn't hot enough and ran out quickly. They came out again and determined it was a defective valve. With Covid etc, we couldn't get a new valve. Ok, then how about replacing the heater? No, can't get another one! Then Rex showed up! He thought we might have a leak somewhere. He checked every faucet and valve in our house. Then he thought about crawling under the house to see if there was a leak. By now it was dark and cold! Sure enough the leak was under the house! He couldn't fix it that night. But, his crew was here the next morning. Within an hr we were fixed and had hot water again. we can't say enough good things about this family run company! They are TERRIFIC!

We've had a few questions since having the job completed and when we call they're always so helpful, including the lady helping me trouble shoot getting the a/c unit turned on for the first time this year since I couldn't remember how to get it out of its winter shut off. A year after we moved into this house our HVAC system died and they replaced it with a Carrier which worked great for 16 years (low end of the expected life) until it died last December on the second 5 degree night we had. We really needed some heat! We are on the JBAC annual maintenance plan and the tech came out at 10 PM and said, yep, it's dead. (Luckily we had a gas fireplace to keep us from freezing.) Estimator came the next day, showed us some options, and the day after that a crew came out and installed a hybrid gas/heat pump system which has worked great for the past 8 months. I enjoyed the annual maintenance included with the JBAC plan, and it has more or less paid for itself in reducing or eliminating service fees for other issues. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was about 10 years ago they installed a pricey UV air purifier unit (my wife had asthma) which died a few weeks after the warranty ran out. Hopefully they don't continue to peddle bad products, but the rest of their work has been great and they are always polite and friendly.
