A year after we moved into this house our HVAC system died and they replaced it with a Carrier which worked great for 16 years (low end of the expected life) until it died last December on the second 5 degree night we had. We really needed some heat! We are on the JBAC annual maintenance plan and the tech came out at 10 PM and said, yep, it's dead. (Luckily we had a gas fireplace to keep us from freezing.) Estimator came the next day, showed us some options, and the day after that a crew came out and installed a hybrid gas/heat pump system which has worked great for the past 8 months. I enjoyed the annual maintenance included with the JBAC plan, and it has more or less paid for itself in reducing or eliminating service fees for other issues. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was about 10 years ago they installed a pricey UV air purifier unit (my wife had asthma) which died a few weeks after the warranty ran out. Hopefully they don't continue to peddle bad products, but the rest of their work has been great and they are always polite and friendly.

I scrambled thinking I made a mistake, and after they looked at my furnace for 10 minutes they said we can't do any maintenance because we need to replace parts A and B before we can even begin to do the yearly maintenance, and we will add on an additional service fee to as an additional insurance , good for one year in case we need to come back. This is the second time I have experienced this from this company. It's an extended warranty type scam. RUN don't walk away from this company. Complete and total fraud.

This is the place to go for propane tank certification, refilling, and replacement. I brought in…read morethree tanks. One was rusted through so I replaced it with a new one. I've never had such a nice tank. Before I would do the tank exchange at the big box store and leave with a rusty banged up product and endure poor service. This was very affordable. Another tank was old but just needed to be re-certified. They do that. Bottom line..It's a family owned business that takes care of their customers. Update: my 88-year-old father wanted to replace his furnace and add central air to his house. He asked me to call drum oil and propane. I presumed because their name has oil and propane in the title that they didn't do gas furnaces. Boy was I wrong. Our family is so happy with the service and the attention that Drum gave to my father. It's an old house, so it was a challenge. We received three quotes with different options within 48 hours. All were very reasonable. The installation took place shortly afterwards. I was impressed with the quick turnaround. I was even more impressed with the level of service. They were very patient with my father. They worked hard. And completed with superior workmanship. If you need a furnace or central air I would highly recommend Drum Oil and Propane.
