We have a high-anxiety German Shepherd/Catahoula mix, and finding the right vet for her has been a…read morechallenge--until we found Paw Prints. For the first two years of her life, we went to a different vet where we never felt a real connection. The staff seemed scared of our dog, and visits were always stressful for everyone involved. When we adopted two kittens, we decided to give Paw Prints a try because of the great reviews and their close location. From the very first visit, we knew this place was different. Our dog was incredibly anxious and wouldn't let Dr. Crowe or his staff touch her. But instead of rushing the appointment or showing frustration, Dr. Crowe sat on the floor with her for over 30 minutes, patiently working to earn her trust. That level of compassion and patience meant the world to us. Rather than jumping to sedatives (as our previous vet did), Dr. Crowe recommended the CHILL Protocol. I'll admit--I was skeptical. But today, after following the protocol, we brought our pup back in... and she was like a different dog. She was still a little nervous, but she didn't need a muzzle, didn't hide, didn't bark incessantly. She even let the vet tech give her a shot without reacting--and when Dr. Crowe came in, she barked once, then went right up to him for pets and love. This visit felt like a breakthrough. I'm not sure if it was the protocol, the incredible staff, or both, but it was night and day compared to our past experiences. We've officially moved all three of our cats and our dog to Paw Prints, and we couldn't be happier. It feels amazing to know our pets are in such good hands. Highly, highly recommend Dr. Crowe and his team. They truly care--and it shows.

Paw prints was the vet for my beloved service dog Bea. Monday, I called the hospital and told them…read moremy dog was vomiting and having bloody diarrhea and I was very concerned. Lady made an appointment for next morning. I wish she warned me how serious this is. Later in the day, I made the mistake of taking my baby to asis emergency animal hospital in Greenville. Blood test showed high red blood count. My baby needed aggressive treatment and IV. The hospital closes at midnight. She had hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. (HGE). Vet told me she do a therapeutic/procedure, it was past their closing time. After paying big$$$$ for the service, they walked me out. I thought she was stabilized enough for her to make her early morning appointment at Paw Prints hospital. My girl died in my arm in the office at Paw Prints hospital.. She was my ptsd dog, VA mental health recommended I get one. If your dog is really sick, go to a 24 hour emergency care and not to asis emergency care that closes at midnight. Losing my beloved dog is as hard as seeing my battle buddies getting killed in combat. Paw prints hospital, I wish your receptionist would have told me how serious my dog condition is and to go fast to a 24 hour emergency hospital. She just made me an appointment for next morning. My world is dark now, very depressed, I wish the receptionist would have told me how serious my dog condition is in. My dog could have been saved.

I appreciate that the groomers understand the GSD coats and have never attempted to cut their fur (that would be a mess). I always add the nail grind to their bath appointments and they've come home without any issue (due to their size, we've had groomers in the past be rough and hurt their legs). We also enjoy the option to drop them off for a half or full day of daycare--they are usually totally worn out after a 6 hour half day. I don't worry about them when they are at Noble Dog, but I do enjoy checking in on the cameras. I appreciate their updates when we pick them up at the end of the day, it is funny how social they can be when we are away!

I stumbled upon an article in the Greenville News about this new luxury dog hotel opening. I received a full tour of the facilities (including the spa) and all my questions were answered. What was most impressive to me is that when I informed them that my fur baby is diabetic and received insulin injections 2x daily, they didn't tell me they couldn't accommodate him. Several of the staff members are trained in administering insulin so I was immediately put at ease. The level of service and attention to detail received at Noble Dog Hotel far supersedes my expectations. The staff really does treat your pet as their own! My diabetic dog got sick while there and the staff offered to take him to the vet and checked on him all the while he was there. My other dog is a staffordshire pup with a TON of energy. They are very patient with him and I never feel uncomfortable with how he's handled. I highly recommend Noble Dog Hotel. It's a definite gem in Greenville!!

We recently moved to Florida and miss Gary deeply. He was such an important part of our lives while we were living in Greenville! I found him from a simple Google search and felt that he was our angel while we were in town. He always made time to take care of Blue, even when I reached out last minute. Gary would often send him home with presents, outfits, and other little treats. I never saw my dog as excited as when we were arriving in Gary's driveway! Over the two years we were in Greenville, our dog became more elderly and required significantly more care, including frequent medications. Gary never faltered or complained and took care of Blue like he was his own. He doted over our dog and they truly had the most special relationship. I would trust Gary with any and all of my babies, I wish he would have moved with us! We will always think of Gary and his love for Blue when we remember our time in Greenville.

*Not Recommended for Dog Training in the Greenville area / try others first*…read more This is part of my review series on Therapy Dog Training. Our dog was recently certified and we want to help our neighbors through this long process! We previously appreciated our dog boarding at Upstate Dog Academy but we stopped going for several reasons. Positives: James at Upstate Dog Academy offers dog boarding in his home and has a yard for daily outings. Negatives: We started with lessons at Upstate Dog Academy but we later found that other area dog trainers offer classes with a mix of more positive reinforcement and our dog started making more progress once we switched. Also, our dog just didn't seem to be getting the same amount of outdoor time here as at other kennels. On our last visit for boarding, our dog looked visibly distressed as we pulled in the driveway and we decided we would not be going back. *Routes to Therapy Dog Certification: 1. Attend private lessons for beginner through Therapy Dog and then get certified through Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD) via Noble Dog Hotel. This is the more expensive option. 2. Attend classes at Astro Kennels, then take Therapy Dog class at Petsmart in Mount Pleasant, SC, and then contact a private ATD evaluator through the ATD website. This is the cheaper option.
