The seats are fantastic, and they give you so much aisle space so when someone is scooting out, no one has to stand and let them by. The chairs were very comfortable also and there was plenty of parking. The Black Box is located inside the Discovery Center so easy access off of The Dallas Tollway. We do wish there were single serving bags of pretzels, chips, cookies or something to purchase during intermission. They were kind enough to have small bottles of water For Free.

If you think its a traditional bingo night, think again. Bingo Loco is wild!!! High-energy from beginning to end. Imagine bingo, a dance party, a game show, all rolled into one. You'll have to do a quick search to learn more about Bingo Loco. Its held in various locations all over the country. Tickets range from per person to a reserved VIP table. If you go solo or with a small group, its open seats. This location was long tables and seating was euro style. We enjoyed everyone around us. This specific event offered food (nachos, popcorn, pizza slices, etc), drinks (water, soda, fruity alcohol in a wine crafe & jello shots) and swag. The doors closed 7pm sharp, lights dimmed down and the neon lights turned the room into a party house. Our host and Dj were AMAZING: funny, sexy, and really kept the crowd completely engaged the entire time. Impressive! The way it works is simple: you get one bingo card, a highlight pen, and the Dj plays several rounds of music through out the evening. But instead of typical letters and numbers called out.. the Dj plays music that matches songs on your bingo card. Bingo was one row (5 boxes) in a horizontal direction. It was easy to follow. Don't feel intimidated if you don't know the music, it's all part of the fun. Most people used apps lol. There were some pretty cool prizes. I'm sure it's different at each event. We had the chance to win everything from an air fryer, jumbo sized pink sloth, karaoke machine, disco ball football helmet, a giant dildo penis mounted to a bucket, and a trip for 2 to Las Vegas (to name a few). Between rounds, there were sing-alongs, confetti blasts, a chance to stand up and dance to the music, and random moments of pure chaos that kept the energy level through the roof!!! I LOVED that this was a 21+ event. The mature audience made it feel more like a fun night out with friends than a family entertainment event. Everyone was there to let loose, laugh, dance, and have a good time. Maybe too much fun lol. The hype surrounding Bingo Loco is absolutely justified. I've seen videos online and wondered if it could really be that fun in person. The answer is yes. The crowd was enthusiastic, and fully committed to the experience. Looked like some groups were birthday celebrations, batchelorette parties, GNO, and definitely groups of friends of all ages and genders. Frisco Hall Event Center was a great venue for it as well. The space allowed everyone to be part of the action. If you're looking for a unique night out, be prepared .. once you've experienced bingo this way, regular bingo will never be exciting again! I'll be back to visit the other spots because of their uniqueness! The decorations were wonderful! I think they were provided by the persons that booked the unit. They also had servers for food. However, I think that too was booked via the people that rented the venue. The napkins, which were cloth, were dirty and limp. Ugh! Those need to be replaced. Those were quite objectionably dirty! Same with the white table cloths. (Fake)flower arrangements were nice. They matched the decor for this setting. Chairs need serious updating/replacement or a good scrubbing. From the very beginning, Luis Luna, the venue manager, was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind. Leading up to the event, he was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure every detail was covered. The entire planning process felt so much less stressful because of his support. The night of the event, Luis went above and beyond. He was present, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Any time we needed something, he and his staff were right there, ready to help without hesitation. His team was just as amazing--friendly, welcoming, and truly made us and all of our guests feel comfortable and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide, and it shows in every detail. This celebration would not have been the same without their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to step in whenever needed. We are beyond grateful and would 1000% recommend Slate Venue at II Creek to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an incredible team behind it.

However, for our event we opted to cater from another location, but we took the rest of their offers. Since they frequently do weddings, they have a set up Brides' and Grooms' room in the back. It's a perfect spot for hosts to stash their valuables, change of clothes/shoes, and any other miscellaneous things you'd like. Highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation - make sure you get a couple of great photographers. Your event will be absolutely stunning and I assure you that you'll be really upset if all the photos you have are selfies from your cell phone or ones that your guests take. The newly married couple arrived from the UK a few days in advance of the party, but both of them came down with Covid. Needless to say, we had to cancel the party, and all of us were devastated! But Vaibhav from the Glitz was great and gave us a credit for the full amount that could be used if we rebooked the party within a year. Nearly a year later, we finally pulled off the event. I think it's fair to assume When you rent a venue, you expect to show up with it being clean and ready to use. There was stuff all of the floors. The kitchen was a mess. The bathrooms were dirty. Decorations and balloons still up from night before. No paper towels in kitchen or bathrooms, no trash bags in bathroom. Our tables were not set up and table cloths not out or chairs out. We had to wait for him to set up tables so we could start decorating. Some of the tablecloths had stains on them, probably from night before. The chargers they used were dirty, we had to wash food off several of them. To top it off, he was rude. Not apologizing or trying to make things right. He was supposed to come back and mop before guests showed up cause the floors were disgusting and decided to show up Late when our guests were there and tried to mop....we told him to forget it... He isn't moping around guest. Not one time Did he apologize or make things right. He would be mad or fling his hands. He even showed the venue to 2 or 3 People while we were trying to decorate. Making them promises of stuff he would do, that he did not do for us. When you rent a venue, you expect to walk in and it be clean and ready for you to use. That was definitely not the case!
