Friendly team of stylists, however I didn't get close to the service I was requesting…read more I asked for a full highlight with a smudge root. Half way through the service he told another stylist that he was doing something different (with tip outs I believe), when he told he he was going to leave the underneath of my hair dark and untouched, I reminded him I wanted an all over lighten, and ultimately wanted to be completely blonde, eventually without a lot of dimension, and he grabbed the foils on my head and paused for a second and said "no you dont", then continued on to tell me that it would be too much up keep and would damage my hair over time, regardless of the fact that I have been all over blonde within the last few years, and have been consistently getting my hair bleached for the last 5+ years. During a conversation I mentioned I'd thought about doing red, but never do because red clings to my hair, and is nearly impossible to get out of my hair, and then he proceeds to tell me a few hours later that he puts pink in his toner, which has now left me with reddish roots, that I cannot for the life of me get to fade away. Which means next time I go blonde, I'm going to have Orangey patches due to this. This appointment also started at 3:30pm, and I did not leave the salon until 11:15pm, which is absurd, unless I had a complete transformation of my hair. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, and have tried self-toning and using toning shampoo to correct my hair color and try to get close to what I asked for with no luck. In the end the service was around $200, which isn't considered "expensive" for a blonding service, but it unfortunately isn't money well spent when you don't get what you asked for. The stylist also made a comment of "I hate doing hair for people I know, because then they think that have a say in how I do their hair.", which is just an off putting comment, considering I feel that if a client is getting their hair done, they ALL do have a say in how their hair is done? All on all, not a bad price, friendly people, but unfortunately not worth almost 8 hours in the salon. I wish I would have put that money towards getting my hair done somewhere else, and saved my hair the process of being bleached without a good end result.

1 Star Warning: Do NOT book anything through this place…read moreusing Groupon. Total scam. I bought a $44 Groupon for a stylist named Madison at The Salons @ The Greene (112 Magnolia Lane, Beavercreek) -- and I've gotten absolutely nothing but ignored. She gives out her phone number and tells you to text her and she'll respond in 48 hours. It's been over 3 days. No call. No text. No voicemail. Nothing. I've called multiple times, left messages, and followed every instruction given. Zero response. Not even the courtesy of a "Sorry, we're booked" or "Let's reschedule." Just complete silence. This is NOT how you treat paying customers. I don't even want the appointment anymore -- I want my money back. And no, I'm not accepting Groupon credit. That's not what I paid in, and I shouldn't be forced to take store credit from a place I'll never trust again. I've already contacted Groupon and plan to file complaints with BBB, WHIO, and WDTN if this isn't resolved. I've also posted to social media to warn others, because this is nothing short of stealing. If you're thinking about booking here--especially through Groupon--DON'T. Julie S.

This isn't a business: it's a collection of businesses. There is no receptionist. There is a sign…read morethat says you are free to walk around. I was looking for a stylist for men's shoulder length hair. I came across one stylist whose door was open. I stuck my head in the door and asked, "Do you do men's hair." Then I noticed there was another woman in the room who was blow drying her own hair. The other woman, whom I assume was the stylist, remained silent and gave me the stink eye. I then walked around the corner and found Gentlemen's Hair Care. The door was closed, but it listed the name Janelle Freshour, along with a phone number and a website on the glass. The website was to some other hair styling business. I think it was located somewhere in Europe. It showed a total of 6 hairstyles for men. All short haircuts that you could get at Super Cuts. One of them, the "Flisar Style," showed a guy wearing a black wool watch cap. How is wearing a hat considered a hairstyle? Based on her website(s), she charges either$40 or $50, I'm not sure which. You could get the same cuts at Great Clips or Super Cuts for a fraction of that. Of course, if they botch your hair cut at Great Clips, they probably won't throw in a watch cap to hide it. But, hey, you get what you pay for.
