Once, a diamond they replaced fell out within two days, but they were kind enough to fix it again at no charge. I appreciated that and continued to trust them. During the pandemic, I lost a small diamond from my wedding band--a ring I had purchased from a reputable, certified website and received the diamond certification with. I found what I believed to be the missing diamond at home and brought it to them to be re-set. To my shock, they told me the diamond was not real. That crushed me. I knew the ring had real diamonds. The only place I had ever left that ring for any work was at this store. I have no hard proof of anything, but my gut has never sat right with that moment. Especially since I had noticed that one of the stones looked slightly off (a little more yellow), though I had brushed it off as dirt or lighting. To make matters worse, the quote they gave me to replace the diamond was double what I ended up paying elsewhere. It saddens me to say this, but I stopped going to them after that. I've learned a painful but important lesson--always get insurance on any diamond jewelry, and never leave valuable pieces unattended or unchecked. However, I recommend against purchasing some of the more expensive jewelry from Scosha if you're hoping they'll be be durable/last a long time. I purchased two solid silver cuffs as engagement bracelets for me and my fiancee - unfortunately, mine broke after a month of wear. To their credit, when I called, they said they'd repair it and only charge the shipping fee. I specifically asked whether soldering it as a fix would make it weaker and I was told it would actually make the bracelet stronger. The bracelet broke again in the exact same place within a week of wear. At that point, they sent me a new bracelet and told me that silver cuffs should not be taken on and off or adjusted too much (then what is the point?). After getting my new cuff, my fiancee woke up shortly thereafter to his cuff broken as well - he had not taken it off or adjusted it since he first put it on months earlier. Frustrated, I bought two silver chain link bracelets from Scosha, thinking they wouldn't have the same problem. Within a couple weeks, though, a connecting hoop on mine got caught on a towel and the bracelet now needs repair. The same small connecting hoop on my fiancee's bracelet is soldered into one piece, leading me to think it's either made with very cheap metal or the fabrication was done poorly. In any event: we're disappointed to say the least. We had hoped our bracelets would last a lifetime - but between two different bracelet types, well over $1K spent, and two different wearers, we've had 3+ breaks.
