Just a heads up, the wait to get your piece back can be long since the owner glazes everything herself. The only downside is it can get noisy if there's a birthday party in the back, so maybe bring headphones or visit on a weekday.

For ceramic painting you only pay the price of your piece and can spend as much time as you need, including coming back as many days as you like before your piece is fired. A little less polished than some "paint-your-own" spots, but with its own special charm. They have a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families or anyone who struggles with feeling rushed when arts and crafting!

There is an adult workout station with "how to' instructions next to the kids portion of the park. It looked like you could get in a good workout while supervising your children on the playground. Me having a large family of 5 daughters we have frequented Disney world a few times and when visiting magic kingdom you have to Ride splash mountain. Splash mountain has height restrictions so we always do a parent swap. Thai little park beneath the ride is a fun and cool way to spend that wait during a parent swap. Well shaded and has cute little slides and play place designed for toddlers. All my girls at one point have played on this and they always have a great time. Makes the wait for the parent swap go by much quicker than just sitting in the heat at other attractions. Overall very cool and hidden gem located at the Disney world parks. Wish more rides had parent swap areas like this.

There is a little playhouse and a slide, which it says is for ages 2-5 but our kindergartener still had a blast. What I like best isn't so much what it is, as where--it is fully in the shade, in a self-contained area with seating for the parents. It's a great break from the sun for both parents and kids, even if it isn't air conditioned.

Nicole said the owner, Nikki was absolutely wonderful, super accommodating, set up all the decorations, ordered the pizza, and just organized everything so well. I noticed Nikki was also very good with the kids and kept everything running as smooth as possible. I think she had a few other instructors or helped but for the most part, she did everything by herself. When we first arrived, the kids got to run around a bit and play with all the equipment. They had tons of play mats scattered around the room, a small ball pit, rings, parallel bars, high bars, zip lining, and a few other small kids activities. Our group had kids that varied in ages from 2-16 years old. Many of the parents, super young and the older kids were just hanging around watching the other kids play. The area is spacious and clean. Nikki would gather the kids to do different activities such as zip lining, parachute and tumbling. Then she would allow them a break in between and let them go play on their own. Once the pizza arrived, the kids got to go into the birthday room and eat and drink. They had enough pizza for some of the parents too. Then kids went to play and we gathered the kids to sing happy birthday and cut the cake. I think with the party, you invite the guests and bring a cake. They take care of everything else! Our kids had a blast and everything was well organized. Even the parents had a good time. At one point, our husbands were hanging out in the small ball pit. Haha.
