Slipped disc. I lost the ability to work out for 4 months. Once I began to heal, I found I could do some exercise, that is when I began to work with Andrea. It was a pleasure taking instruction from Andrea and I honestly believe her workouts have been a huge help to my back recovery. She taught me many things not only the work outs but diet, relaxation and recovery. The biggest thing was for me to stop working out for a good amount of time. I feel that was key. It's hard to give up that great feeling of working out. Healing was the first step. Then once I felt like I was ready and healing, working out speeded up my recovery. After working with Andrea I feel absolutely fantastic, although I feel I have lost a lot of my strength. It sucks but I think I am going to forget about what I used to do and start from the ground up. Clean slate. I am going to focus more on form and more reps, lighter weights. Also I will continue to take classes with you every now and then. I want to make sure I keep the right form. Andrea was a god send, she is not only good at what she does, the most important thing anyone can have is she cares about her clients. Thank you Andrea!! You're the BEST!!!

I work-out with her twice a week for almost 4 months now & every dollar spent on my work-outs is money well spent. We've seen some reduction in inches but most of all, she made me motivated with work-out again. She's quite a dynamo. And she will make sure that you will not be bored with your work-outs. And she's quite a great listener. I told her about my injuries & we managed to work around my limitations. Try her out. You will not be sorry. The 1 hour sessions are just pure joy!

None of those are easy asks. I've been meeting with Sarah twice a week for the past year. She's given me all of what I asked for and more! She's also incredibly knowledgeable about the human body. She's cautious with my injuries. Sarah really knows her stuff! I would not do any of this without her guidance. She's also incredibly kind, reliable, funny, thoughtful, and compassionate. She's been available outside of the gym to answer my questions and provide suggestions by phone and email. I'm so grateful to have her as a part of my regular routine. I highly recommend her.

I have a tendency to get lazy mid-workout but she didn't allow it. Her knowledge extends beyond the workouts themselves. Her positive, relentless energy is undeniable.

I started to train with Andrea from Pazitive Transformation in July this year. I'm glad I did! Here…read moreare 8 reasons to work out with Pazitive Transformation! 1. Go at your own pace Andrea let's you know it's okay to go at your own pace! There is no pressure to exert yourself. During my first session with her, I told myself I was going to fight through the last set of exercises. Big mistake. I threw up in public. Thank goodness for the trash can. haha. But if you really don't feel well be honest! We gradually build our strength and endurance so she let me know it was okay to tell her I can't do anymore...(Those burpees will get you...;D) 2. Exercises are tailored to your goals I had a trainer who pointed out what areas he thought I needed to work on. That made me feels super insecure and uncomfortable working with him. I canceled my session with him. Andrea made me feel comfortable with talking about what my fitness goals are. She also checks in with you during the week to see how your exercises are going. It's not a one size fits all. Your work out plan will be tailored to your goals. 3. Offers Personal Coaching Sessions as Part of the training She's a great listener and it was nice to have someone who you can relate to! She's easy to open up to. There was one week when I was discouraged because people were commenting on my weight. I was feeling good and working out more and people were saying how much weight I've gained. I know I've gained weight through out the years. My weight fluctuated through out the years. I used to be 100 lbs when I was 18 and now at 27 I am around 130. I felt comfortable opening up to her and it helps having someone to relate to. 4. Gives advice on eating habits Part of your fitness is also changing your eating habits. Andrea gave me great advice. I usually give in to my cravings, but she reminds you of what your goals are and shares tips on eating habits. She doesn't make you feel like you have to give up a certain food. You can still have foods you like, but in moderation. I still eat what I like, but I won't stuff myself. 5. Great Equipment and Work Out Area (and she has Chickens!!) Andrea is equipped with new fitness equipment! She has a great space in her backyard. Newly remodeled with a grass area,TRX straps, weights, and other new equipment. She also has a nice little farm with chickens! It's a fun space and I love working out there. Don't worry they won't be running around you while you work out. :) 6. Provides a variety of different work outs I never got bored with the work outs because Andrea always added and tried new things with my work outs. One week we did a stair work out. She added a TRX workout which I loved! I actually purchased my own that I do at home. We also did deadlifting and squats which I've always wanted to do! I was always afraid of hurting myself, but Andrea made sure I had the correct form. She also provides a weekly sheet of the exercises/guide to help you during the week. 7. She'll make you do box jumps and you will have fun One of the most challenging, not because it required super strength but I was so scared to jump! Haha. It wasn't too high, but when I was going to jump on it, I started to second guess myself. I thought I was going to trip and fall over. The first jump is always the hardest. The key is to be confident in your jump and you can do it. 8. You will feel great! Before starting my personal training session with her, I felt so stressed out. I was always making excuses not to go to the gym. I'm more aware of what I am eating. I feel a lot stronger. When I first started I couldn't even 1 push up. That's when I knew I was out of shape. In about a month of training with her. I was able to go from 0 push-ups to 20! Within 2 months I was able to do the Pike exercise on the TRX. With consistency and a determined mindset, you can definitely reach your fitness goals.

Although most of my sessions have been at her awesome gym (which is conveniently located right off Hwy 87), she's also been able to train me at a park as well as my own home! In addition, I appreciate her training style. I've worked with a number of personal trainers, and most of them were the kind that barked orders and yelled to encourage you to push through the exercise. Andrea, however, eases you into her workouts, and rather than yelling at me to work harder, she encourages me with positivity and tells me to do as many reps as I can. Her intention isn't to kill you every day so that you dread attending her training sessions, she instead builds you up little by little so that over time you build muscle and stamina through repetition and habit. It may sound weird, but I end up doing a lot more reps than expected because I find my own motivation to keep going. Moreover, not getting killed every time I see her (even though I do get unexpectedly sore) makes me want to workout more often, which enables me to stick with her program. All in all, I would recommend her to anyone that wants long lasting results; progress of any kind (i.e. weightloss, building muscle, toning, etc.) takes time, and she gives you everything you need to meet your goals.

I was never…read morea person to be into fitness but 2020 came and I knew I needed to make a change and become healthy so I began kickboxing/cardio for four months and still was not seeing the results I wanted. In April, I began training with Tonya and her personalized workout programs were amazing. By the time I began training with her, the stay-at-order was in place due to COVID & she made customized workout plans for what I had available at home to use. Her meal plan was also very effective! I immediately saw results after only a few weeks of her workout plans and now that I am 4 months into training with her I've never felt more confident! I'm excited for the times gyms open here so I can apply everything I learned from her and bring it to the gym atmosphere. She is the reason I have such an appreciation for fitness now and this is only the beginning of my journey with her. TONYA YOU ARE AMAZING!

Tonya is hands down my best find of 2019!…read more As a working woman entering my 30s, I was looking for someone with an emphasis on strength and mobility, but most importantly, I wanted a female trainer similar enough in age that understood my physical goals, life demands, and emotional mindset to help push me beyond what I could do on my own. Tonya is that whole package and more! Tonya helped me see real results in body recomp (reducing fat and increasing muscle mass, especially in the booty!) but my biggest value in training with her was building consistency. Training is not easy, but I never realized it could be so fun! Her energy and mindset are a constant motivation to stay the course and keep on track. What's more is that I've never had a trainer so dedicated to her own growth- in our year together, she's made gains and progress in her body too! Progressing alongside Tonya makes me feel like we're in it together and goals are real and attainable. I've been training with Tonya for a year now and have grown the confidence to train on my own using her strength training programs! It's been empowering to be at the gym by myself, but I still see Tonya 2x week because she keeps training fun and adaptive. I like to bounce feedback from my workouts off of her because she really listens- the other day I was complaining about knee pain and next session she surprised me with a whole session on knee rehab! I'm at the gym alone and I have a question or need a workout? She's on it! What more could you ask for in a trainer?! Pro-tip: She is awesome at stretching! Have you ever had anyone roll out your calves after leg day?! It's amazing.
