The spices melded together perfectly to create a rich, hearty flavour. It reminded me of dal makhani (Indian cuisine) more than Middle Eastern style lentil soup. Service was quick. The staff were not overly friendly, but were totally unpretentious. The cafe was cozy and the restroom was clean.
