He asked a lot of questions and really listened to me to help figure out what was going on with my ears (they have been crackling for years). It turns out I have Eustachian Tube dysfunction and my ears have problems with pressure changes. I have another appointment to get tubes put in, which will hopefully help. I will update this review after I get the surgery, but I expect everything to go well. Everyone in the office is very kind and professional, and I would recommend them for anyone experiencing Ear,Nose, or Throat problems.

I had a fungal infection in the sphenoid sinuses he diagnosed it. I had surgery and the problem was fixed. It affected my face, he also shaved the terminates, the sense of smell got better even though it wasn't in that part that detects smell. Go figure. As I expected, Dr. Cavanaugh said there was nothing wrong with my Eustachian tubes and my ears were fine. I was glad to get this confirmed and have since figured out my problem on my own (which had nothing to do with my ears). Dr. Cavanaugh was personable and I'm sure he's a competent, knowledgeable doctor. I read negative comments about staff but the front desk and nurse who got me set up, were both very kind and friendly. During the exam, he said he saw a bit of ear wax, and without asking my permission, preceded to use a machine to extract the ear wax. When I received my bill, I was charged an additional $105 for this unneeded procedure. I have a high deductible so I knew none of this visit would be covered. I was not forewarned that there would be an additional fee on top of the office visit. When leaving he had me schedule a follow up even though he said there was nothing wrong with my ears. (I cancelled) My warning is: demand a break-down of ALL the charges for your visit. I wish I'd said when I entered the room that I want to know if there will be any additional charges on top of the office visit. And beware that he may want you to return for a follow up. Use your judgement on that. I have no problem paying the office visit, but I'm upset that I was nickel and dimed.

It's so surreal. Dr Shah is so supportive and even more excited to see my own progress than I was able to actualized once I got my stints out and can feel the surgery actualized. No diagnosis.., just irrigate and come back if I still can't breath though my nose and they will do a procedure that his not approved by insurance. Ugh, So found another ENT who ordered a CT scan and diagnosed polyps and chronic sinisitus. Prescribed meds and finally feeling better. Also said the procedure "recommended" as a next step by MHO was counter indicated based on the CT scan findings. Ugh. Interesting aside is that that the doc didn't read the intake paperwork before we met. Didn't know my age nor why I was there. Also did a hearing test, found a high frequency hearing loss and recommended hearing aids. Ordered and fitted. Ten minute appointment to adjust. Horrible fit, noisy, clicks and the software didn't work. Eventually the charger melted and ruined the hearing aids. They charged me $250 to return them. I am not making that up. They also lectured me for causing the melting of charger because I "should have known" not to use a generic USB-C cable. Seriously. Went to another audiologist and was tested for free, recommended aids that were $1200 cheaper than Mile High and they spent an hour calibrating them via some sophisticated equipment and software to ensure perfect sound. Incredible experience. The software is better, the warranty is better, the sound is much better and experience was exceptional in comparison. A quick aside is the reception and lead nurse are lovey humans. Funny and nice. My recommendation is to think twice before scheduling with MHO

We scheduled a surgery with Foothills Surgery Center, they have nowhere that you can leave reviews (I wonder why!). I was told we needed $400 before the surgery. Yesterday, I received a text stating that I had to come up with $3000 or my kid couldn't have his surgery. I called the surgery center, and they gave me options that I still could not afford. I asked for a monthly payment plan, and they refused. They either needed the $3k in full, $2500 plus additional monthly payments, or $1500 or more in monthly payments. I don't have that kind of cash! Their last option was CareCredit. I am not opening a credit card to pay interest on medical procedures; that is ridiculous. They canceled my surgery and refused to speak to me further. Boulder ENT then called me and told me that the surgery center is "not a charity". I wasn't asking for anything for free, I was asking for a payment plan that fits my budget and doesn't involve interest. The rep I spoke to told me, "Here is a name of a doctor, I have nothing else for you." Beware if you book here because Boulder ENT and Foothills Surgery center only care about money, not the health of patients. I'm pretty sure that them giving me a payment plan that fits my budget wouldn't hurt their pockets. And they do not care that they are hurting my pockets. This isn't about patient health anymore; this is only about money. I thought Doctors take an oath to do no harm!

I had a good experience with Dr Cutler, who is amazing and it pains me to do this. I had surgery…read moreyesterday morning, and was told if I had heavy uncontrollable bleeding that could not be stopped with Afrin, pressure, and lasted longer than 30 minutes/filled gauze pads in 10 minutes or less, that I needed to promptly go to the ER and call the on call doctor at this clinic. Well, lo and behold at 1am I had this issue. Went to the ER, they could not find the source of the bleeding. I was passing large blood clots, the blood was steady, bright red, and filling my gauze in less than 10 minutes. I even started coughing up blood because there was so much. I was in the ER for FIVE HOURS. And called this office FIVE TIMES for emergency help. They never called back. Just kept telling me to call again in 30 minutes if no one got in touch with me. It took me 4 and a half hours to stop the bleeding enough to try and go home to rest with NO help. I am terrified to actually rinse my nose out again because I am worried it will kickstart the bleeding and I won't be able to get it to stop a second time by rinsing out the clots that formed during this whole ordeal. This is a medical emergency according to their paperwork and instructions and they NEVER called us back. Not to help the ER doc. Not to evaluate. I had to handle this nightmare with nothing but a nose clamp (2 and a half hours wearing it at the ER) and my husband's love and support. This treatment is dangerous and absolutely ABYSMAL. When instructions are given and promptly followed and you don't even care enough to reach out and help your patients when they are going through what you labeled as a SERIOUS ISSUE, then the practice is bordering on malpractice. DO NOT GO HERE. They will not help you, or the docs who are trying to help you.
