Despite waiting past my appointment time to speak with the doctor, the front desk threatened to deny me care unless I paid the disputed balance. Even after explaining the situation and that this was likely a billing error, I was treated with hostility and physically shoved out of the office by Stephanie Johnson. After seeing many reviews about the same PA Caitlyn, it seems they are committing outright fraud. I will be looking into to this and filing a complaint with the appropriate boards. At no point was there professional or compassionate treatment -- only accusations and intimidation. This experience was humiliating, stressful, and completely unprofessional. I do not recommend this office. Do not go here. No person especially an actively sick patient should be treated like this.

As I expected, Dr. Cavanaugh said there was nothing wrong with my Eustachian tubes and my ears were fine. I was glad to get this confirmed and have since figured out my problem on my own (which had nothing to do with my ears). Dr. Cavanaugh was personable and I'm sure he's a competent, knowledgeable doctor. I read negative comments about staff but the front desk and nurse who got me set up, were both very kind and friendly. During the exam, he said he saw a bit of ear wax, and without asking my permission, preceded to use a machine to extract the ear wax. When I received my bill, I was charged an additional $105 for this unneeded procedure. I have a high deductible so I knew none of this visit would be covered. I was not forewarned that there would be an additional fee on top of the office visit. When leaving he had me schedule a follow up even though he said there was nothing wrong with my ears. (I cancelled) My warning is: demand a break-down of ALL the charges for your visit. I wish I'd said when I entered the room that I want to know if there will be any additional charges on top of the office visit. And beware that he may want you to return for a follow up. Use your judgement on that. I have no problem paying the office visit, but I'm upset that I was nickel and dimed.

I'm no doctor but I don't see how I could possibly get a diagnosis without a nasal endoscopy since that's really just looking up my nose with a special scope; however my entire visit was billed at $300!!! That provider is expected to give us this referral during the visit if he has any knowledge about headaches. He delayed the diagnosis because of his incapability, charged us very high without any help. Now he even wouldn't write the referral after we know what type of specialist to see after 2nd opinion with a headache specialist. The only thing they care about is making as much as money from you but without providing any results. This is the worst ever experience not only from a doctor, but from any doctor office. I will contact related attorneys to see how this can be handled. The doctor and the office has caused long delays of the diagnosis and suffering of my son. After 2 weeks I asked for records sent to 2nd opinion including talking to the officer manager or supervisor twice, they didn't do anything though they said they would work on them.
