The tea was below my expectation. I really didn't like the overall vibe either. Would not recommend

We had to wait about 20 mins without a reservation on a weekday - im guessing weekends are busier. The menu is influenced from countries along the silk route and has a dish from various different countries. We tried the swedish svamptoast, malaysian sambal curry, indonesian peanut noodle, choo chee salmon. Everything was flavorful, a little spicy, good quantities and the value for money was also great - each dish was $20-$23 range which is great for such an ambience. We also tried their chai - which was lightly spiced and one of the black teas (pineapple chilli) - and these were delicious too! We had kids with us and they were super friendly and nice towards them and accommodating to menu changes based on preferences. Overall - highly recommend this place!

We were surprised to find it very crowded at 4pm when we visited. There's a small area at the front of the restaurant and a lot of folks were gathered there waiting for their tables. It took several minutes before the hostess checked us in and let us know it would be a few minute wait. A bit later we were guided to our seats. I appreciated that they took trouble to make it feel like a special experience - with white tablecloths, decor and the cutlery. They seemed a bit short staffed that day so our server was helping out many tables. He was very helpful in explaining the menu, though we did have to ask specifically to receive the full tea menu. We decided on a few teas to share - a spiced white chocolate white tea, rooibos chai, and a hibiscus cooler (iced and non-caffeinated). The spiced white chocolate was fantastic. I wasn't as much of a fan of the rooibos but if you like less sweet teas this is a good choice. The hibiscus cooler was delicious and refreshing, and I liked that they let us take it to go! Our amuse bouche came out first - a delicious pumpkin seed savory small soup and it was fantastic. We eagerly awaited our tea tower - and it certainly did not disappoint! We are still thinking about the delicious spinach and artichoke pinwheel with olive tapenade - it was our absolute favorite. The savory sandwiches were also delicious. We especially enjoyed the clotted cream and lemon curd with the scone, and the desserts were delectable. We were stuffed by the end of our teatime! Our server was very helpful and despite it being very busy, we felt taken care of. I think this is a very worthwhile experience - the tea, sweets, and savories are all delicious and definitely worth checking out!

Truth be told, it was later in the afternoon, and I actually went with tea instead of coffee that day, but from everything I saw, this place was packed with a lot of people enjoying their caffeine. The Barista was super friendly and the shop had a ton of space which I'm sure gets used all the time with Boulder being a college town. I do know, my buddy really enjoyed his coffee and next time we go back to this beautiful town, I will for sure be partaking in their coffee goodness. It really did have a great vibe and from what I can tell, it looks to be one of the more popular coffee spots in the city. Hope to visit again soon.

My barista was very nice and made good recommendations based on what I was looking for. The pumpkin spice flavor was great, overall what I expected. The outside looks small, but the interior is rather spacious with a lot tables for working on a laptop. The inside has 90s/early 2000s vibe with dim, ambience lighting. This is a super solid coffee spot that should be in your Boulder coffee rotation. Bonus - they offer goat milk as a milk alternative!

They are apparently planning a grand opening when summer arrives. I had seen it when eating on the west end of Pearl, just east of the new expanded Hapa sushi that took over the space of two that closed in the pandemic. This space is part of one that closed. I looked through the menu and found a fruit tea that has no caffeine, a choice I medically need. It is winter melon and it seems good for today, snow on the ground but not cold or windy. I ordered it with boba and they were so fresh and soft. Perfect. When I asked for it at a lower sweetness that was on the wall poster, the staff member informed me they actually do not have control of this other than diluting it. So that is what I had her do. It still tasted great and not too sweet but it does dilute it some. Other shops apparently use a separate sweetening syrup rather a premixed solution. As another Yelp review mentioned, it is very small inside with one wall with a bench to sit for a short time. It's actually quite pretty though and the staff efficient and friendly. I am giving it a 5 because only the sweetness was a small issue but it's really a 4.5 until they expand options. So glad to have them on Pearl in such a popular block. Though it is only Winter Melon that cannot be altered this way. Other teas can be easily customized.
