They offered to give me a filling on 2 of my teeth right then and there ( one being the broken one and the one next to it that needed it) They talked me through it and reassured me every step of the way. I went back 2 days later for a teeth cleaning, since it had been 2 years. The hygienist was so kind and gentle and did an amazing job. There was no shame or judgement since it had been so long. Long story so I'll condense it. The office was very clean and I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The hygienist, Kerry, put me at ease, while getting me prepped. Dr. Pinker was professional and took his time making sure that the area was numb. When he started working he explained what he was doing each step of the way. It all went smoothly, with some minor discomfort when he was removing the two nerves. Explaining that the other nerves were very close. Nothing major. He cleaned up the area and then put in a couple stitches. I wasn't sedated but had a few numbing injections and laughing gas. Two suggestions I would give him is, come in before we begin to prep and introduce himself. Because I think it'd be nice. And secondly, perhaps they should call the next day and ask how the patient is doing. I've always had the doctor or dentist do this when I lived elsewhere. Just a nice gesture. But, otherwise, I'm very pleased with my outcome.
