Ok...I love pizza. Pizza makes it's way into every week of my life. I have money allocated to pizza in my budget. That being said... I absolutely adore this pizza! My wife and I always split a large pizza. Half pepperoni and sausage and half Canadian bacon and mushroom. I ordered this pizza to go and the young man who took my order couldn't have been more wonderful. I believe his name is Lorenzo. Absolutely above and beyond customer service. Full communication. I did tip him, but I wish I'd tipped more. Next time for sure! Now, the pizza. My half was the pepperoni and sausage. The pepperoni was plentiful and the sausage was lovely large pieces. I really appreciated that. My wife had the Canadian bacon and mushroom. Fresh. Delicious...yes, I stole a piece. The crust is solid and delicious. The sauce is very nice and not sweet...but not spicy. Just right. My wife had a beer and I had a fountain softener drink. Both wonderful. Let's start up with the positives. I've had pizza here three times. I've ordered it twice on the phone and I've dealt with very good customer service and nice people on the other end of the line. All three times I requested crispy pizza . Once I even asked them to almost burn it. I like to have pepperoni where it is cooked up into cups and browned on the edge. I do not like doughy pizza and medium rare pepperoni. that's what I got each time. I'm assuming they don't have a real pizza oven and it goes through on a carousel and you get what you get. I worked throwing pies in high school . This is a kind of pizza that eight-year-olds enjoy for a pizza party. Think mountain mikes , Chuck E. Cheese , pizza factory. Round Table ( even currently ) is better in my opinion. You guys can do better. You're the only game in town and people deserve better. We stopped in before a show at the music hall. The pizza was delicious. We ended up with a combo style pizza. We also ordered a Greek salad as well that wasn't so Greek but still tasty. I have tried this place twice. And so far it's been consistent. If you are looking for the cliff notes version is; speciality pizzas = delicious. Service = not good. I have to be specific to speciality pizza being really good here. Because when you order a plain cheese pizza it's basically Little Cesar's quality. Just more cheese. Me; *already aware they close at 9 because I looked ahead of time* ok, not a problem. I placed an order for teriyaki wings, cheese pizza, Hawaiian pizza (speciality one I can't remember the name but I'll post a picture) and a personal salad. We arrive just after 8:30 for pick up. They forgot the cheese pizza. While my husband was told to stand aside and wait the lady behind him also found out they forgot part of her order. So she started waiting. Then my husband overheard the girl answer the phone, about 20 minutes prior to closing just answering and saying "we are not taking anymore orders". Dang. Ok. That's abrupt. Anyways we got the cheese pizza it was basically burnt and super greasy. The wings were lackluster. The salad was okay. Hawaiian pizza was delicious! Anyways we won't be back unless we decide to stay in boulder creek again and just need a pizza out of convenience based upon location. Otherwise I think it is a meh place. Want to give this place a good review but there's just too many quality issues, and sometime recently they cut the cost and quality of their ingredients and recipe to the point that a frozen pizza is just much better tasting. They always, I mean *ALWAYS* forget something from your order - a drink, the ranch dressing, the plates, one of your food items. They only occasionally fix it, usually you just don't get it... Just buy yourself a frozen pie and save yourself the heartache. I would suggest picking it up in the store to resolve the issue where they can't bring what you ordered with them on delivery, but again their food quality has gone down so far that it would just still be a waste of money. If they revert their crust recipe and sauce etc, I could change my mind but as is, frozen pizza is better value. read more

My friend and I drove to Boulder Creek on a whim to swim at Junction Park after seeing that it would take longer to drive to Santa Cruz. We parked a bit far as we chose to eat here after walking around first. We also chose to order takeout to bring the park. We decided to split a pizza, mac and cheese bites, and a bottle of wine. The service was very friendly and helpful. They even were able to add ham to one side of the pizza and keep it vegetarian on the other side for me. We also got ranch and marinara sauce, but we were very surprised with how high the price was for our meal. I believe it came out to around $60. The pizza was alright and came with cheese and chili packets. The wine was good as well! The ranch was tasty but the marinara sauce was not. The mac and cheese bites were not very good and we were slightly disappointed with our purchase. I would not get them next time around. Let me start by saying that this place has been here since dirt was new and has reincarnated countless times over the decades. In it's current form, it probably has the best food it's ever had, but it's also the most expensive. Still, the pizza is probably the best in the county, and their chicken wings and other food are all also excellent. If the prices were just a bit more practical I'd rat here a lot. Some other thoughts... The staff is always excellent and friendly and on the ball. New people seem to be trained well and quickly. Orders take a lot longer than I'd like, or than I'd expect from prior owners and management. Delivery takes longer and is not available as late as I'd like, again, in the past it was faster, later, and came to more of the area. Diapite all of that, it's great people and great pizza and great food all around. I still recommend them highly. read more

We usually order for delivery, but we went in about two weeks ago to dine in and had a very horrible experience with the staff. The pizzas are always good. Tho We ordered half pepperoni and half sausage and they got to order wrong twice and then I think who was the manager came out and took the pizza away. When another employee told us we could have a free one for them getting it wrong. We had to wait another 25 minutes for another pizza And it was still wrong but we ate it. I don't think we'll eat in there again just order out.. the guy that took our pizza ended up giving the pizza that was wrong to the employees.
