She guided me through every step, offering expert advice and connecting me with all the right people--from lenders to inspectors. We toured several properties, and when my favorite home went off the market, I was disappointed. But Jill remembered how much I loved it and went above and beyond by reaching out to the selling agent to see if it was still available. It was--and thanks to her initiative and persistence, she arranged a private showing, and I was able to make it mine! Jill negotiated a price that I could afford, and she was truly my biggest supporter and cheerleader throughout the entire journey. I'm so grateful she remembered the home that checked all my boxes and made my dream home a reality. I'm now happily settled in my new home, and I owe it all to Jill. She made the home-buying experience not only easy but genuinely enjoyable--I can't recommend her highly enough! Thanks Jill, You made my dream of home ownership a reality, and I am so greatful!

Boom recently took over the Powderhorn property. So far, not impressed. My wife has made several…read morephone calls to set up the online owner portal and not a single one has been returned. We even texted them and no response. There seems to be no way to email them. In addition, they sent out a packet with a meeting link. They didn't bother to shorten the link, so when trying to sign in, you're entering over 70 obscure characters. This takes you to a Microsoft meeting sight of sorts where after spending several minutes typing in the meeting link, you are rejected and told the link is not valid. I photo verified the link entered and the link on the packet to verify. Same link. Why not use ZOOM, a user friendly site. Also, as real businesses do, they mail the meeting link so you don't have to TYPE IT IN! If this is the way they go about business. Powderhorn has done a supremely poor job of choosing a new property mgmt company.

ZERO stars. Really. If you hire Boom Properties, you can expect:…read more1. Emails to owners with incorrect: HOA name, spelling, grammar, and meeting dates, times, locations, and zoom link (for the annual meeting, no less!). Notices to every single owner telling them they are late on their dues because Boom changed their accounting system. Really. 2. Blatantly incorrect and untimely financial reports, including charges from other HOAs, budget numbers that don't align with what you provided, and wildly inconsistent accounts receivables that eventually have to be manually generated. Really. 3. Requests for simple maintenance like street gutter cleaning to take three months, and landscape cleanup to take nine months. And months after the work is completed - usually incorrectly and without Boom supervision - contractors contacting you directly because Boom didn't pay their invoices. Really. 4. Requests for information or status from your assigned manager, the accounting person, and THE OWNERS OF THE COMPANY to go unanswered for weeks or months. Really. 5. Missed commitments from Boom employees that then require 3 - 4 follow-up requests, virtually every. Single. Time. Really. 6. A revolving door of managers as they leave or get fired. Really. This was our HOA's Boom experience for two years, and is 100% true; it would have been far less work and far less stress to self-manage the community using Quickbooks and Gmail. If after reading this you are still taken in by the lure of the small, local, woman-owned business with smiling owners promising great things, and you're okay with paying a premium for zero accountability, mind-boggling incompetence, and zero responsiveness, then all I can say is - go for it, and good luck. But you were warned. Really.

If you are looking for a college home near the University of Denver (or any where else that Four…read moreStar manages), please try your best to stay away from Four Star. As a resident of 2 years at my Four Star rental property, I have experienced mediocre service throughout my time but nothing TOO atrocious (so for that I award 2 stars)...but nothing has been as bad as the experience my roommates and I have endured this last week and a half. ***Here is a list of major complaints that I urge you all to check out before even considering renting a home with Four Star (beginning July 7th, 2020 through the current date): - No notification of workers being on our property for extended periods of time (unidentified individuals with unmarked vehicles). As a house full of women, this is an extreme safety concern - Resident's car was asked to be moved, then blocked in and covered with sawdust from the trees that were removed. This was destruction of personal property - Portion of the fence that is facing the street was down for an entire weekend, exposing all of the residents' personal items in the backyard while residents were out of town, and now the entire fence is down leaving the entire yard exposed. - Emergency line was called multiple times regarding these issues with no solution - All of the sheds were destroyed on 7/14, but residents were not notified and still had personal items in the sheds (Pots, tools, benches, a small grill, and pool toys). - Personal items (tables are covered with tools, tarp is under a pile of wood, and tables/chairs have been used and dirtied) have been used by the workers without the residents' consent - Zero communication from Four Star via text, call, or email to prepare residents that workers will be on the property. This is a major safety concern. - Multiple emails with zero follow up - Multiple calls/messages with zero follow up - Residents were able to contact a Four Star rep on 7/13 regarding the emergency complaint (fence + AC), but no follow up has been given from Four Star in over 48 hours. - Resident was able to contact a Four Star Leasing Agent (Cody, he was lovely) on 7/13 regarding the fence, and he said it would be fixed on Monday or Tuesday. No follow up has been given since. As reliable, respectful, and responsible tenants, we expected and deserved better than this treatment! Cheers.
