Bought a house July 2025. Jeff is an amazing realtor! He was all about us finding the right house. When I need a job done, I always get 3 quotes. When I needed to sell my home, I did the same. Jeff impressed me more than the others. He sold our home in one day. He has experience in construction, he's easy to reach and he knows his market. He also offered the best buyer/seller commission rate. There are some repairs and upgrades that must be done to sell quickly at a good price, and other things that aren't important. It was hard for me to tell the difference, but I could always rely on Jeff's opinion to be right. And he was. With no financial benefit to himself, he saved us $6,500 in roof repairs and more in appliance, plumbing and smaller odd job repairs that I felt were necessary. Jeff knew they weren't. He knew the market and i didn't. If I needed to sell again, I would go directly to Jeff and save myself the trouble of telling other real estate agents "no". We love Jeff & Hatch Realty! Jeff was recommended to us in the beginning of 2022 as we were starting to get serious about home buying. It was our first home purchase, and it was the time when houses weren't sitting on the market more than a weekend, and bidding wars were present at every house we looked at. We wanted to work with someone who knew what they were doing, and whom we felt comfortable with. We "interviewed" a number of different realtors, and after we had our initial conversation with Jeff, it made things easy. Here are a few things that I believe set Jeff apart from other realtors: - Honest, Funny, and Personable: You spend a lot of time with your realtor. Jeff is just a really cool person. He's interesting, he's funny & quirky in the best of ways, he's honest, and he will feel like a friend to you throughout the process. He's not pushy. He gives you the facts, considerations and guidance you need, but all decisions are ultimately your own (as it should be). He has his clients best interest in everything. We missed talking to Jeff after we closed on our house! -Negotiation: We saw our house on a Thursday evening, as an add on to another house we were seeing down the street. We really liked it after seeing it. Jeff worked his magic and asked if the seller would be open to an early acceptance of an offer. By Friday afternoon, we were working with Jeff through an offer, which was submitted Friday evening, and by Saturday morning, we had an accepted offer that was FAR under the margin of what other houses were going for over the asking / listing price. - Guidance: He made a difficult closing process easy, pointing out what we should actually take away from the inspection report, helping us with an appraisal that came in slightly under the contract price, etc. When we were worried about a few things that came back in the report related to the roof, he had his roof guy come out to inspect it, and give us a quote if we wanted to get it repaired in the future to give us peace of mind. When our lender didn't meet our closing date (we selected this lender, it was not a Jeff recommendation), the seller threatened to walk. Jeff completely remedied the situation and we successfully closed. Point being, Jeff goes above and beyond, and was there for us with guidance and transparency every step of the way. -Smart & Knowledgeable: Jeff knows his stuff and has an eye for detail. He has a background in real estate, finance, and construction management. He knows what to look for when you go into a house, and he won't just try to sell you on every house you see to get the deal done. He will give you honest feedback to find the RIGHT house. - Communicative: Jeff is communicative and reliable. I ask a lot of questions, and I like to make sure I have every base covered in every situation. No question is a dumb question with Jeff. He is so responsive, educational, and he really does make you feel like you're his only client. - Hatch Realty is a great firm: Jeff was out of town a few times and had a few of his associates meet us for a house visits. The whole Hatch firm is top notch. -Customized / Tailored Search: A lot of the realtors who we spoke to would put you on a filtered search through database that pulls from the MLS and from there you would let them know which houses you like. Jeff has his own database / system he uses, but he specifically picks out listings he thinks we will like, and sends those vs. us receiving an automated email every day. You can also obviously do searches in the database on your own but he will start to know your tastes and preferences better than you know them yourself. I'm not kidding. -Local Knowledge: He has a ton of local knowledge. I would trust him even if I were trying to buy a house from out of state without seeing it. Luckily we were living in Denver already, but point being, he knows the area very well.
