I'm a bit baffled by all the amazing reviews. Tasty? Absolutely. Amazing and mind blowing? No.
Is it different compared to the local bakery? Yes. The atmosphere, the presentation, the variety and the freaking price tag (easy for you if you are waltzing-in with Argentinian pesos changed from dollars or euro).
Pastries are good, but I think better are their bread. The media lunas here are not that great enough to justify for the price they charge. I would come back to get the bread.
The service was a bit mixed. The young lady who attended me was in a weird mood with me, only (FYI, I speak fluent Spanish). Albeit a more senior looking staff compensated for her in hospitality. I politely asked the quiche to be warmed up. It was taken to the back, waited a while but only to be given it to me cut in 4 pieces. Not warmed up. Strange experience.
But yes.. the bread. Awww.
