Frequently don't get credit for bags dropped in drop box or credit is very short compared to what it should have been.

First time experiencing this place and I was actually genuinely surprised - in a good way. The young gentleman that runs the place is so nice! Helpful and friendly and deals with a lot of people and issues with a friendly attitude. I would give 5 stars but after all it is a recycle joint so it's not the most pleasant place and perhaps a little dirty and stinky; to be expected. Anyway, the process was easy and the rewards were profitable and worth the effort. Definitely impressed by the young man however, wish I got his name. My gosh this was the dirtiest most smelliest place I've ever been in! Young man behind the counter was very nice, felt sorry for him because some fool brought in bottles half full of beer which splashed on him. Geez people have some self respect! I put my shoes in the washer before going in the house and wiped my arms down with disinfectant wipes! I use a lot of bottled water and hate putting the empties back into the environment, thankfully there is an outside kiosk! I'll remember to bring my rubber gloves! LOL read more

Dirty and poor customer service. This was a nice facility with great customer service not too long ago. What happened? Please, Corporate, get involved and clean it up. If customers are expected to follow your written policy on behavior then your employees should also. Consider taking your business somewhere else. read more

Horrible customer service. The woman working within the Medford location could have taken one minute to answer a simple question, but instead chose to treat the customer rudely. I understand that the location is very busy and jammed with people, but still customers should still be treated right. All we came to do was set up an account using the kiosk so that we could obtain green bags. I wish there were other options for bottle drop than this place. This place is very convenient and VERY clean for a recycling center. Yes, you should still wear gloves but all things considered the place is not disgusting. The guy at the front drop is helpful and friendly. He helped me recycle bottles and cans that the machine didn't take. I'm from outside Oregon, so I had to ask a friendly FedEx delivery guy how to get my deposits back and he sent me here. The place was empty on a Saturday morning and the process was easy to follow. Feed the bottles in the machine, take the ticket to another machine and get cash. There's no point in leaving that money in Oregon. read more

Dirty, sticky and full of gross people a lot of the time. Smells like a dirty old beer can full of stale cigarette butts. It serves its purpose. It's in a convenient location. The employees have ranged from very rude and completely unhelpful to nice and very helpful. The machines don't work a lot of the time. The signage can be confusing/lacking at times. The drive up and drop was packed full. What's to stop thieves from opening the door and grabbing some full bags of recyclables. The facility seems too small with too few employees to handle the volume. Grants Pass could use another building. When the drop off is full they need a sign to notify customers that are waiting in line instead of having to open the door only to find it full. read more

I came in got in line behind the next customer a guy came in the door and started another line in the doorway cutting in front of me. I said something about him cutting in line he shoved my cart spilling my cans on the floor. The management kicked both of us out. I did nothing wrong and felt I was wronged by the establishment. I did nothing physically to warrant being removed from the premises. Typically beer and drug money has a higher standard than regular people recycling soda cans.... If you walk in the door and stop at the doorway you are automatically 2nd in line no matter how many people are standing in line. Then abuse of patrons who can read the sign not to make a line at the doorway are subject to abuse by druggies and drunks who ignored the sign. Since the Coronavirus started, the hours have been shorter and only half the machines are in use due to social distancing. The lobby seems cleaner and does not smell strongly of beer. Sometimes the online hours posted are not always updated. I showed up at 8am on Saturday and found out the hours had changed to 9am-5pm and online it stated the hours were 8am-6pm. read more

So easy to use; just put your cans and bottles into the machines. Get a receipt and collect your money. Who wouldn't take their recyclables, especially to get back a bit of cash! Not busy at all when I went. read more

There are only two of us at home, I always been going there twice a year with about four bags and today I was told that I can only deposit $ 35.00 worth of can per day and per person ( they where 3 empty machine the whole time). That would make three trips (60 miles). Was offered the green bag but after talking to a couple of people was told it's a ripoff. read more

I have gone to the facility in grants pass or to put my bottles in the drop box for the last month only to find cone up and was not able to us the drop box. It cost me more for gas than what I get for my bottles. This is very frustrating and upsetting. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. read more

I was buying the green bags, putting the sticker on and dropping them off. Thought it was great until no sooner than I was leaving the parking lot I would get notified a $6.00 and change was deposited into my account. I filled another bag, took it down and did in myself in the machine and low and behold I had $9.00 and change. So the green bag method is a rip off to me. They are not being counted in anyway. If a few bucks doesn't matter, than use it, but I wouldn't recommend it. I use the machines. Pretty easy. Have not had an issue with any machine. It is a little dirty in there and smells. But you have to consider that many don't wash their cans, bottle out and don't care that they make a mess. The staff has always been helpful. There are all kinds of citizens in there, so some might find it offensive if others aren't quite up to their standards. Too me and my wife, we don't care who is doing it or what they look like. We love the fact it is easy to use and it is keeping the city clean of all types of cans, bottles, containers that now can be recycled. I would like to see another center established in town. This one can get pretty busy. Overall, great idea. read more
