(Old) Freedom Propane owned my 50-gal tank when I moved in. So in 2022, I had them add split off a…read moreline for a gas grill, and was told it would be ~1 hr job and their charge per hour. When the work was done 60 minutes later, I was charged more than 4 times what I'd expected. NEVER AGAIN. ZOOM forward to 2026 and I learned of the NEW Freedom Propane, bought by a larger family-owned business. Well, it's a WORLD of difference. I needed to change a cut line from a gas stove to instead extend it to a portable generator spot, add a quick-connect valve and hose. Tom visited, gave me a quote on the job and clearly explained the basis for the quote. NO SURPRISES, unlike the 2022 experience. I agreed to the quote and Cory came the following week. He explained clearly what he'd be doing, worked efficiently, retested ALL the lines. The work was done cleanly, the plantings near the house were worked around, and both Tom and Cory were friendly and well-mannered. Tom & Cory completely renewed my faith in Freedom Propane. Thank you both for your great service.

In addition I was without propane to cook for two days , I suggested a simple pony bottle and was promised delivery the next day. It never happened. I called Combined Energy and asked for a credit of 25 dollars for my ruined dinner. They said they would not issue a credit. It was a take or leave it approach . Not the best way to introduce itself.

Although this library is small, it recently got an expansion about one year ago. Although it never…read morehad an elevator, it now has one. It has 2 real floors that all people can visit and use to take out books. It has 3 computers that can connect you to the internet. If you are out of the area and don't have a library card, you can pick up a temporary 30 minute pass to allow you to log-on. One floor is all mostly adult fiction/nonfiction, and the other floor is mostly children. This place does have two entrances though, so plan your time-frame accordingly. You can park as on street parking(not advised to park accross the street, if planning to use computers), or you can park in their 6-7 car parking lot. They now have one public bathroom that most people now know about(across from magazine rack near elevator). If you need to use it, it is always clean and well-maintained by those planning to use it. (It has paper-towels, but no blow-driers.) As for employees at this library, although they have a few paid workers who can help at the main check-out desk, most of their employment staff are volunteers. And when you figure into the equation of the town this library is in, I like this library being that it is close to me and my home. Thanks a lot; Never a problem here.

I told staff that I wanted to check that book out. They inquired as to whether I had a library card. I said that I did but not on my person, but I could tell them my library number, and that I had just not 30 seconds before handed the two books to one of the staff asking for my card. I was then asked if I had a driver's license. I placed the book back on the the shelf and walked out. I have heard that the staff at this library is unfriendly. I won't go back and will go out of my way to avoid it.

A tech like Felix fills you with confidence, he is right there with you, answering questions, being as charming as he is proficient. The work is clean and gives you peace of mind. Never use this company. I am sitting in a home with no…read moreheat, although I fully paid my bill to JSP. Based on an on-site estimate produced on 9/30/26, for 2348.37, I liquidated all that was left in my 401k , and hired JSP, informing them that I wanted to heat just one room, (baseboard plumbing) but needed a written estimate in order to access this exact amount of funds to complete the job. Miscommunication within the company produced a second on-site estimate. This one was assessed at 2712.86. Within a span of ten days, this amount was paid in full, deducted from my debit account. Despite this, the only difference in my uncomfortable situation was that I ended up with dismantled pipes, metal pieces, and baseboard pieces scattered along my den floor, and still no heat, as of 10/30/26. This tech visit that produced the full diagnosis based on opening up the heating systems was done without articulated terms in a work agreement. A work agreement could allow me a chance to examine terms and decide on whether I wanted to enter a working relationship. Instead, I was strategically presented with threatening terms imbedded in an invoice provided after the service visit. By this point. - the tech already pulled apart baseboard pieces during the diagnosis and never reassembled, as it was found. Rather than repair, suggestions were made for all new items in my system, demanding a cumulative sum of 13,887.69. I understand that repairs can uncover additional problems, however, more concerning still than the ballooned total, was the manner in which the agreements were made. I received "my copy" of emailed receipt contracts containing signature marks presented as mine, that I did not sign, with the statement underneath the signature area: "I am 100% satisfied.. . and hereby authorize JSP to debit amount", although typed in the report is the statement: customer could not be contacted by phone to authorize work. Other forms were marked "preapproved" by hand, even though I had not approved that work. I dispute all. This experience has left me financially depleted and deeply concerned about their agreements, contracts and approval process. My biggest concern is about the wording of the contract terms. It feels like the contract basically paints the customer in a corner. The writing starts with an assumption on the part of the customer: "It is agreed" and goes on to say: states, "that JSP could remove equipment or materials if payment was not made and would be held harmless for damage resulting from that removal." This also included interest, collection costs, attorney fees, and a disclaimer concerning cosmetic, equipment, or structural damage resulting from repairs or diagnosis. These terms were not provided to me beforehand, when I could have reviewed them, and decided whether or not to proceed. The financial burden of this experience has led me to liquidate the last of my 401(k) savings, leaving me with no financial option to choose a more affordable plumber to complete the job. I am out 2712.86, with no options of staying warm within my home this winter season. Having no heat throughout the winter will affect my health-- and possibly my ability to stay alive! I am not sure how much time was spent at my home, because I was working during this tech visit, but it would be a caring minimal gesture - to only charge a reasonable amount for diagnosing the problem and for the per hour time for the technician. Is the amount of 2713.86 really necessary to collect if NO effective repair of any sort was performed? What I expect from a home services company is clear communication with each other, with myself, accurate paperwork, and my actual approval on contracts. If I have paid the full amount that they have requested, parts should have been respectfully put back in order within my home. The JSP branding tactics pull in trusting people with a personable presentation ... friendly demeanor, nice uniforms, beautiful wrap around graphics on their vans, texts messages that include a photo of your tech provider, and a list of their favorite personal hobbies. Based on my experience of being direct, and honestly expressing my goals and expectations up front: the goal of heating one room, limited funds, and that I needed to retrieve it from my 401k -- a truly trustworthy establishment would have provided an alternate recommendation. It's possible that the first person making the estimate could have said, "Our company may not be a good match for you. To be honest we may charge you the extreme range for all our supplies and labor. It may be financially safer for you to choose another establishment. We cannot fulfill your goal for the budget price you are seeking." I feel taken advantage of by their contracts and handling of my information, and personal space. I cannot recommend JSP. If it were possible to offer negative stars, I would offer: -1 for value, -1 honesty, -1 empathy
