Because we did not have a reservation, we were seated outside, even though there appeared to be available tables inside the restaurant. We accepted that, but the service was disappointing from the start. Our server did not seem welcoming or interested in providing good service. He appeared unhappy to have our table, and his attitude made us feel like we were an obligation rather than valued guests. At this price point, excellent customer service should be a priority. While the food was acceptable, it was not exceptional enough to compensate for the poor service. Dining out is about more than just the food--it's about feeling welcome and cared for, especially during a special family celebration. Sadly, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location and do not feel the value matched the price we paid.

They don't have tablecloths any more and only white napkins. When we were here before, they offered guests the choice of white or black napkins to match the color of their clothing. It also seems like the dress code has become more relaxed. When we were here before, most people seemed to dress "business causal", but today a lot of people wore t-shirts and shorts. However, it was also Saturday afternoon and I bet a lot of tourists walked from the shopping plaza and outlet mall. The front lobby/ waiting area now only has 2 chairs on the right and 1 on the left. I could have sworn they used to have a few chairs and a couch. And one of the chairs was really beat up and looked like it needed a lot of repair work. We were seated immediately, though it was 12:20 on a Saturday and they had just opened, so there weren't many people in the place. We told the waiter that we had been here before, so he didn't need to go through the introduction. We ordered some drinks and then another server immediately brought out the sides: cheese bread, fried bananas, garlic mashed potatoes, and french fries. We said we didn't want the potatoes and fries, and it would have been nice if they asked what we preferred before bringing everything out. We then got some food from the salad bar and my wife though the lobster bisque was excellent. After we were done, the waiter took our plates away. But then he never came back with plates for the meats. He also didn't ask which meat we wanted to start with. We flipped our discs to green and the gauchos started coming by. The picanha and filet mignon were very good, but the filet mignon wrapped in bacon was a little tough. We asked about it and the gaucho said it's because they have to cook the meat longer to make sure the bacon is fully cooked. We then got some more food from the salad area. About halfway through, the waiter saw that we had stopped eating and asked if we were done. We said yes, thinking that he was asking if we were done with the fruits from the salad bar. He then brought over a dessert tray and asked if we wanted a dessert liquor. I said we're not done eating the meats. Then we had more meat. Then when we were done, he started to come over with the desserts, but my wife saw him and shook her head, so he didn't come to the table. He then brought over a plate with "Happy Birthday" written in icing with a candle for me to blow out. I don't know if I was supposed to get a free dessert because it was my birthday or if that's not offered here. I assume it's not offered here since the waiter didn't mention it. Though to be fair, we were stuffed and probably couldn't fit it.

They charge an 18 percent service charge -- but I added more to bring the tip to 20 percent, and gave some of the servers tips too because they were all great. the ambiance is so bright, inspiring and makes the dinner even better. We choose to sit at the bar as it's open seating. my husband wanted the five spice chicken wings, and we were disappointed to learn that they've been taken off the menu. This is such a huge disappointment because that five spice dry rub was amazing. We ended up talking to the bartender and she said that they could do the lil sum sum (kids menu) wings naked and put the spice on the side. My husband chose to go that route (two order as there are only 3 wings an order) but thankfully, they actually tossed the wings in the spice, which was perfect. But we really do wish that they would bring back the actual full order of the five spice chicken wings as that was his go to when we went there and because that's not on the menu it may decrease the amount of time we go back now because he doesn't really care for a lot of the other menu items. I got the five spice green beans, which is one of my favorite items on the menu. I was surprised to hear that they had taken it off the menu for a while and that they had just brought it back. so glad that they did because that was the whole reason we had traveled out there and had they not been on the menu. There's a good chance we probably would've found somewhere else. I also had the Po Po Lau curry because it is another one of my favorite dishes.

I was able to get some sambal for heat, but it lacked flavor and it was a bit gritty too. At least there was an ample amount such that I could take some home for the next day. My server was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was the same. I did enjoy the audible music and crowd, making the vibe nice. I would definitely come back if the bring the duck noodles again, and maybe try another drink next time too. Overall: B-

They had tables set aside for us and they have a full menu as well as the dim sum menu, which you mark how many of an item you want. Family style dining as is most Asian dining. The interior is super nice and it does feel upscale. They have large tables and some smaller ones but it's not a huge restaurant space. This means the meals feel very cozy and intimate. We got the squid ink shrimp dumplings and regular shrimp dumplings. They were both a 9/10. I will say that squid ink anything does not add to the flavor, just the color of the food. Squid ink is slightly more expensive. The shumai was a 9/10. By the way the dumplings were huge and about 4 pieces per order. We tried the curry fish balls, which essentially is fish balls like the ones you get at hot pot cooked in a yellow curry. It was my first time trying this and I thought it was just ok. This was a 5.5/10. Some ordered beef and broccoli for the table and it was delicious. Definitely a large dish to be shared. That was an 8.5/10. We tried their wonton soup which came with noodles and bok chop. This was an 8/10. The fried shrimp balls were excellent and is a 9/10 for me. Normally, I think they are either too savory or oily. However, these ones had great crips and really well balanced flavor. We tried my favorite dim sum dish, which is the rice rolls with shrimp. This was a 6/10 for me. It just wasn't my favorite one that I have had. We also tried the mango custard bun, which was a 8/10. Overall, I would give them a 8/10. It is a little on the more pensive end for dim sum but the atmosphere is nice and service is pretty good. I love dumplings. I could eat dumplings any day, all day. It truly is one of those things I would have as a part of my last meal on Earth.

When it came to service I see people love the service and this is something I looked forward to but I would like to say the waitress was having a bad day. She was rushed and not the friendliest. I love tipping and I pride my self on making people feel good but the obligated 22% was crazy. To sum it up I have a 3 because the sampler made it ok and it was a friends birthday. My food didn't arrive until around 6:40 PM nearly an hour later than the scheduled delivery time. When I called, the employee was polite, but unfortunately they weren't able to help. Even though the order is placed through the restaurant's website, they use a third-party delivery service that they have very little access to. They couldn't get in touch with the driver, who apparently left the store around 5:10 PM but didn't deliver my order until about 6:40 PM. By the time my food arrived, it was cold. Overall, the lack of communication, delayed delivery, and cold food made for a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering delivery from here. The ambiance has a few tables available, it sesms to mostly be a take out place but we ate there. This is an amazing fusion and the food tells the history of the people. There are actually more Lebanese in Brazil than in Lebanon.
