How do you go about creating a beautiful yet masculine arrangement that any man would be proud to receive from his thoughtful wife on Valentines Day? I have no idea, but Amanda made it happen! She delivered a perfect orchid terrarium mounted on dark wooded base complete with a bow and hand written card. She definitely has a gift for creating something that any guy would be proud to display on his desk. I haven't had it more than an hour or so and have already received so many complements - especially from other guys in the office. I bet they wish their wife was as thoughtful as mine. Amanda was extremely helpful and patient explaining how to care for the creation that she obviously crafted with meticulous care and talent. I couldn't be happier with my Valentine's Day surprise. Amanda did an amazing job!!! read more

There is nothing negative I could possibly say about Amanda and the rest of "the hive." Coming from someone who is very very very detailed oriented and quite the perfectionist, it was very important that I find a florist, or any vendor, that would uphold my expectations. It was also very important that I find someone that I felt that I could trust. TRUST was HUGE for me. I wanted a vendor who cared, who showed passion for their work. I did not want to be treated like a "client." Amanda achieved all these and so much more. When we first met, she really tried to get to know us as a couple. She wanted to know our story. I loved that. She listened to what we wanted or somewhat envisioned for our wedding. She did not try, ever, to try to change our ideas or how we had envisioned our wedding. She kept everything very true to "us." What I loved most was that she was also very sensitive to our budget without making us feel guilty about it. She provided so many options that would enhance our wedding and still respect our limitations. She never made us feel like we had to add more money to our package to make things work. You could really see that she loves doing what she does. She cares for her couples. ... and works with an amazing team of people. I trusted her and her suggestions and designs and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I ever made. Wow. How can I even begin to describe how amazing Amanda is. The short answer is that I can't because the work she put in for my wedding is beyond words. I came to her about a year before my wedding with a concept that, as far as I could tell, hadn't really been done before at least not for a wedding. I fully expected a tiny bit of resistance from whoever we decided to go with. I thought my expectations would be managed and pulled back a bit, after all, I was asking a LOT. I also expected that at least a few people would tell me what I wanted just wasn't possible. I remember getting off the phone with Amanda for the first time with tears in my eyes telling my fiancé "she's going to do it and she's going to do it PERFECTLY!" That was the understatement of the year. Not only did Amanda take my concept and create it exactly how I had described, she elevated it to an entirely different level. She knocked it out of the park. EVERY single guest at my wedding gushed about my centerpieces, how they were magical, and they'd never seen anything like them. The bouquets and boutonnieres were everything I dreamed of and more. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more than a quick minute with Amanda before the ceremony just DYING over the absolutely gorgeous job she did. Amanda, we cannot thank you enough for making our day utterly gorgeous. It was a true pleasure to work with you, and we would LOVE any opportunity to do so again in the future. Thank you, thank you again, and thank you some more! read more

WOW! Amanda I have yet to thank you for the spectacular job at our Green Gables wedding last Friday. Each floral arrangement you created was delightful surprise after another! We are so appreciative of all you and your teams hard work in providing such a stunning display floral arrangements. Amanda came with me to our coordinating appointment and from the moment she started making suggestions, I knew we had found the right person. The confidence she has in her vision puts you at ease because you know you're working with a creative professional who knows their stuff. I let her do her thing and wow did she deliver! On top delivering amazing arrangements she helped with getting everyone pinned and made sure I didn't have to worry about that...oddly enough the second I started thinking about it she popped in was like "I am going to get the guys boutineers", to feel that sense of "she's got this" was amazing when so much was going on. Thanks girl for such gorgeous work and being an amazing lady all around! read more

UPDATE: This review is duplicated under the listing Botanic Allure. Same company, but the name should NOT have a space. Woops! THE REVIEW: We came across Botanic Allure at the January 2010 Bridal Bizaar. We met plenty of florists that day, but out of all of them, Amanda at BotanicAllure really was a stand out to me and my now husband. Right away we could tell Amanda was a kindred spirit - her personal style and the way she talked about flowers and greenery were right in keeping with ours. Since I'd never hired a florist for any events, and I knew a wedding could get really expensive, I followed advice and had 3 separate vendors estimate our florals for our September wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden. Our experience couldn't have been more varied! One vendor was priced right, but we thought the arrangements might be a little lacking in creativity. The second was highly recommended, but out of our budget, and we got the feeling the designer was more concerned about her vision than ours. Then there was BotanicAllure. I met with Amanda and immediately we vibed. She got our vision for minimal florals for our small wedding, and was truly excited about some of our ideas and plans to do our own potted succulents as wedding favors for our guests. She priced arrangements for all our wedding florals with our budget and tastes in mind and was incredibly easy to work with. She even gave us tips on how to successfully clip and grow the succulent flavors from the plants we have in our back yard, and even supplied us little plastic pots to do the growing in! (That reminds me...I need to return some pots!). I can't say enough wonderful things about Amanda and BotanicAllure. The florals we got were exactly what we'd asked for and more than we'd expected. We have made a great friend in the process, and highly recommend giving BotanicAllure a try for your next event! read more

Had a great experience w/Botanicallure. They were the florists for my wedding ceremony and it was gorgeous thanks to them! Very fun and creative. Amanda did a great job of translating my ideas and suggestions into a floral reality :) She's a busy lady, but always responded to my questions, too, which is important to me. And she was very nice and friendly during the entire planning process, too. read more

Amanda is AMAZING!!!!!!! i just recently worked with her for my reception dinner and was absolutely blown away by how perfect all the arrangements turned out. I pretty much gave her creative control and gave her a few guidelines to what kind of style i was going for and what she did turned out way better than anything in my head. Amanda is super easy to work with, very professional, and super creative! it shows that she loves what she does for a living :) read more

We came across Amanda and the folks at Botanic Allure by recommendation of Reverend Tuttle from Vow of the Heart Ministries. He had nothing but praise so we figured we would check her out. At our first meeting we knew this spunky little lady was the vendor for us. She was funny and professional and just really, really, REALLY loves her business. We gave Amanda some ideas and let her run with it. About a month before the wedding my wife's dress came in and it was not the correct. So we just picked up a different dress that turned out to be perfect. At this point the flowers needed to change. So off we go to the brilliant ladies at Botanic Allure hoping they can help us figure things out. My wife gave Amanda a few pictures and said, "I'm not a fan of roses; be creative; surprise me". We had no idea what she was going to come up with until the day of the wedding. The "Big Day" arrived and Amanda delivered the most beautiful flowers. They were perfect and really brought all of the elements of the day together. Amanda really goes above and beyond for her clients because she truly loves what she does, which is difficult to find. This is a woman who loves love and understands a couple's perspective of how truly important the events are and doesn't treat anyone as just another client. We would recommend Botanic Allure for any occasion. This business is - Creative and keeps up on trends - Open to new ideas but can do traditional - Prompt and professional - Customer Service friendly - Perfectly priced (if you went to a larger company you would pay twice as much for the same work because Amanda doesn't overbook herself so she can deliver what was agreed upon and then some) read more

where do i start? AMANDA YOU ARE AMAZING! we met amanda for a consultation at her cute little house (that feels like a house right out of a story book)- and we were so charmed by her witty, friendly personality, and her dog! (we're huge animal lovers so that was a big plus for us). before she starts going over anything, pricing, etc- she took some time to really get to know us- like we were on a date! :) how we met, what we do, how was the proposal, etc etc. i loved that she really took the time to get to know us- it didnt feel transactional and she showed that she cared. I walked amanda thru some inspiration photos of what i had in mind. i really didnt want to be that type of bride who controls everything and every detail- so i left amanda with what i like and dislike, and (the DIY crates we were going to be doing for the centerpieces). We got married May 3, 2015 at twin oaks garden estate. Day of the wedding shows up- amanda and her team blew me away. there is a photo of my face when i saw the room and how it took my breath away. stunning. my bouquet=perfection, stunning, breath taking. the centerpieces= spot on goregous- just as i had imagined. the boutonnieres lovely. the ceremony, cocktail hour, and cake display were PERFECT! Amanda showed up the day of our wedding and came by to say congrats to us. I hugged her so tight and all i remember is saying thank you a million times- i could cry of happiness. amanda- there aren't enough words on this planet to tell you how thankful we are for everything you did at our wedding. you are a true talent, professional, and a wonderful artist. you blew us away- and our wedding photos are gorgeous because your floral materpieces are in each one of them. THANK YOU!!! read more

Amanda- we can't thank you enough! We really appreciated the personal attention you provided us. Your calm demeanor is a pleasure to work with and your eye for detail helped us incredibly. I loved that you took the time to sit and talk with us to get a feel for what we were about--and what was important for our wedding. Your ability to create the most ideal and beautiful wedding design and floral arrangements is amazing; especially when you did it based on my less-than-creative ideas. Kerri and Kelley read more

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding this weekend where Amanda did the coordination and florals. I've been to a lot of weddings in my time, and let me tell you, Amanda did a SPECTACULAR job. From the centerpieces to the cake table, and the girls' bouquets, every single thing she touched was magical. The color scheme was a deep bluish purple with white and olive accents. She created these beautiful submersions topped with lush and verdant arrangements. Fragrant rose petals lined the aisle, and the archway at the ceremony site was absolutely lovely. She and her staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, and I would hire them to do my own wedding in a heartbeat! After speaking with her even for a few moments, you can tell she is passionate about her job, about creating beautiful things, and about making weddings as wonderful as possible. Top notch! read more

I was connected with Amanda through 8TWENTY8 Studios and she is AMAZING!!! I would have never been able to stay so calm and sweet on my wedding day without Amanda! Amanda was the best month of coordinator I could ever have been placed with! She handled with grace everything I needed her to handle from family drama to all my vendor contacts! Amanda honestly cares about her bride & groom she treats the wedding like it is her own! She is extremely organized and nice. Yet, she can take charge when needed. I would highly recommend Amanda for all of your wedding needs!! read more

BotanicAllure was the florist for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. Amanda was amazing. She worked within our budget and created the look that we wanted perfectly. Her touches of color were found throughout the reception venue. The bouquets and boutonneires popped with the colors the bride and groom requested. Amanda truly listened to the couple and ran with their wishes...thank you so much! read more

We had the most AMAZING experience with Amanda and BotanicAllure! We recently got married at the Crossing at Carlsbad on 11-08-2014! Amanda was so much fun to work with! My husband and I are both nurses and into science. Amanda is so creative and helped us create, an underlying classy science theme throughout our floral arrangements. She used test tubes, and graduated cylinders for vases. She did an INCREDIBLE job on the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets too, she used a variety of textures, flowers and succulents and made everything SO AMAZING!! Amanda was so easy to trust, has such great ideas, and was a pleasure to work with! We would definitely recommend her to everyone!! read more

Amanda is the REAL DEAL. She delivered and them some on the vision we had for our wedding. She was patient through all of our many changes and came up with great concepts and ideas for the themes we had for our wedding. The flowers were gorgeous and the service was even better. We received so many compliments on the arrangements at our wedding. From our first meeting with Amanda, she really took the time to get to know us as a couple, rather than just asking what our floral needs and budget were. That really set her apart for us and we knew she always had our best interest at heart. We would definitely recommend Amanda and BotanicAllure to any of our friends getting married! read more

My husband and I first met Amanda at a bridal show WAY before we were even starting to consider florists for our 7/19/14 wedding, but she definitely made an impression on us. Almost a year later (we had a year and a half long engagement), we contacted her and set up a consultation. I met with her for almost THREE HOURS! At first, when she told me her consultations tend to be a couple hours long, I was concerned - but time flew by so fast!!! The consultation was unlike anything I expected - she spent the entire time asking about me and my (now) husband and learning about how we met, our love story, what we had planned so far, and what we envisioned for our dream wedding. She then presented me with an itemized list of what she thought would work best for us - IF she was able to do absolutely everything she wanted to do. Then the most incredible thing happened... she worked backwards from there to find a way to fit it into our budget!!!!!!!! She even gave me a bunch of tips to help me save money with her, as well as in other areas of our planning. She was definitely dedicated to making sure we had the most perfect wedding day... and she ABSOLUTELY made it happen!!! Our guests, our venue coordinator, and our photographer are all STILL talking about how beautiful the floral arrangements were! I am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY we were able to work with Amanda. She is extremely talented, and SO FUN to work with!!! I referred her to my friend, who got married almost a month after us, and she created some absolutely incredible and breathtaking floral arrangements for them, as well!! She is seriously the best, and we hope to continue to work with her in the future ... possibly for succulent gardens at our house... she is amazing!! Love love LOVE!!!!!!!! Highly recommend!!! read more

I know Amanda is out of doing florals and wedding planning/coordination is her game now and boy am I lucky to have found her! I just have to say that having a wedding coordinator is absolutely worth every penny, especially Amanda and her team at Sassy Little Bee! Amanda did an amazing job helping with every detail of the wedding before and day of! You can tell that she truly cares about her brides and grooms. She is so organized, knowledgeable, comforting and amazing at what she does. BRICK is an amazing venue, but very do it yourself, so having her knowledge of the venue and experience made everything perfect! The day would not have gone as smoothly as is did without her and the team! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!! read more

I had the most amazing experience with Botanic Allure. I won a free bouquet from a Bridal show and from the second I met Amanda it was love at first floral arrangement. She was so helpful, I didn't really know what I wanted and she helped me figure out what was best for what i wanted to spend and also what my vision was. My mom wanted to view the flowers before the wedding and she was more then happy to help, and she nailed it. For the wedding I had 5 bridesmaids, 5 grooms men, ring bearer, flower girl, 4 poesy bouquets for parents and 3 boutonnieres for fathers and two different centerpieces for 16 tables also 4 cocktail tables and ceremony flowers. What I got and what I paid for was amazing absolutely perfect and she even threw in some extra flowers to make the head table even more perfect. Our experience with Botanic Allure was so perfect I recommend her to everyone. She spends so much time with her clients and gives you that one on one you want with venders. I really loved them the price is not bad for what you are getting and my flowers lasted no lie two weeks after the wedding and dried amazing. Please use her! I am sorry if you had a bad experience but not using her is a big mistake she is the best at what she does and the outcome is absolute perfection!!!!! read more

My mom and sister found BotanicAllure at a bridal show and boy am I glad they did. It is the ONLY thing we found at the bridal show. I planned my wedding from out-of-state and was able to trust Amanda entirely with my floral vision. I had specific design details that Amanda and her team were able to incorporate without question. Although we didn't meet until the week before my wedding I was never afraid my wedding wishes wouldn't be granted. Amanda worked within my budget and despite her busy schedule, responded to my often excessive phone calls. She even made a last minute addition of a special flower requested by my mother for my bouquet. I am grateful for her professionalism, beautiful floral design, and thoughtfulness. Thank you BotanicAllure! read more

Amanda and her incredible crew did my daughter's wedding on Harbor Island. The florals were out of this world gorgeous--from the bouquets to the centerpieces and all the "extra tables." She also did "month of" coordination and everything went off without a hitch. Her thorough planning allowed me and the family to enjoy our guests all day and evening, because she did her homework and knew exactly how we wanted everything handled. Amanda never disappoints-- I would recommend her to anyone for both flowers and coordination. read more

After a change in location of our wedding, my fiancee and I were referred to Amanda and BotanicAllure. She was so accomodating and willing to work with another florist who we did not want to lose the deposit for that was all the way in Los Angeles. She came up with a creative solution for the 2-florist fiasco and we ordered our deposit amount in flower arrangements that we gifted to those who helped us with the wedding, and used as parent corsages, so she was free to run with her vision of the ceremony and reception. The day of the wedding I purposefully did not peek at the ceremony or the reception and it was so beautiful. She took our budget and was able to stretch it to include everything that I had envision if I would have had a larger budget. Amanda was so easy to work with, and I felt in such good hands from start to finish. On an end note: The arrangements were still alive and kicking after my husband and I returned from our honeymoon and my bouquet dried out really well! I would recommend BotanicAllure to anyone. read more

Ew I would never use this company because I was treated so rudely at the Bridal Show by the florist. I asked what low-cost flowers are generally available in the month of March, as I am getting married spring 2014, and she responded snidely, "First of all, I can't predict what will be available in 2014 [emphasis on 2014 as if I had asked about next century] and second, flowers are NOT low cost. You need to be prepared to spend 15 - 20% of your wedding budget." and then she continued to lecture me on how much I NEED to spend on flowers. This was the ONLY booth at the show I had a problem with (and let me tell you, I stopped at almost all of them). So definitely come here if you enjoy being snapped at, don't like to plan ahead, and have an unlimited wedding budget... Otherwise, go somewhere else. Preferably where the florist actually appreciates your business and inquiries. read more

I got married this past June. Amanda and her team did my floral arrangements and the month of coordination. I loved my flowers, they were fresh and beautiful. I am not very creative so I left most of the set up ideas up to Amanda and she did an amazing job and it all looked beautiful! She has tons of ideas and knows what will look great. The coordination was a great decision. Amanda handled everything and made sure that all details were taken care of. She followed up with all the vendors, made sure I got my dress on time, did the schedule for the day of, and was there before the ceremony until the very end of the reception. She and her team set everything up without even having to call me once and made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the night. It really helped me keep my sanity during such a hectic time. I would 100% recommend both the floral and coordination. Her prices were also relatively close or cheaper than other florists/coordinators in the San Diego area. read more
