They are a little pricier, but well worth it if you are a fish out of water when it comes to designing a new or remodeled kitchen. Beusha & Kaitlin were especially helpful.

We were very clear that we were phasing the work, and they very carefully coordinated timelines for ordering the custom cabinets in the first phase of our work. Because of this close coordination for the first phase, we assumed they would do the same for the remainder of the project, but they then ordered everything else a year before we needed it, without notifying us. We didn't even know they had ordered everything a year in advance until they billed us $265 for the storage fees. (Apparently they need to nickel and dime you even if you're spending almost $150,000 with them). Then, after Kaytlyn left Design 1, we requested delivery of material for the current phase, and they tried to overcharge us by $9,970.61, citing invoices we had paid 6 months prior. It is unclear whether they are having financial issues, have poor accounting practices, or are simply dishonest. Whatever the cause, good design without equally good business practices is unacceptable. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

I trust their promises and I am glad to do so. They come for the template 3 days after we talk, and we had our countertop installed 1 week after that. A worker from A&B Marble & Tile Design just regrouted my whole shower area, which is all tile from…read morebathtub to about 6 feet up and around the sink area. I'm a tenant and it's a super-old bathroom that had horrible looking grout with cracks in it and some of the tiles were bulging out a bit. The landlord ordered this work because of leaks in the building (so I have no idea what it cost). The worker spent about 6.5 hours working hard to complete this work. He arrived when expected (about a half hour early, but that was fine), and I was able to get my computer work done in another room of my small apartment (with my cat) while he was completing the work. I was impressed that he worked so diligently in a tiny space for such a long time. It's always difficult to be a tenant when work needs to be done. I appreciate that they came around the time expected and got the work done efficiently (i.e., so they don't need to come back). My old bathroom looks so nice now!

The experience was positive from start to finish…read more During my initial visit to the showroom, the two gracious women staff helped me narrow down my choices, and gave me a sample to take home to check for match with the existing wall tile. They made calls to check sizes and delivery dates for the tile I chose. Jimmy, the owner, stopped by meanwhile to evaluate the job, offer estimates of cost and date of installation. He was very specific about my needing to hire a plumber to move the fixtures before work began. This was helpful as I would not have realized this was necessary. The craftsman did a wonderful job laying the tile and caulking everywhere to avoid leaks. The weather was stifling hot but he worked so hard until finished.Beautiful work!

I had received a few quotes from other local contractors; I actually reached out to Pablo Marble and Granite last, however, following my initial conversation with Ben, it became immediately clear that we would prefer and trust to do business with them. I am an architectural Consultant and work with contractors on a nearly daily basis, and I have never been so thoroughly impressed with the responsiveness, care, and communication I received from Ben and this team. I took a quick trip to their Woburn site to look at the material; Ben gave me a great tour of the facility and their stock, and that same afternoon, Pablo was at our home in Boston surveying the countertops. I would say one of the most uniquely nice factors of working with them, was the consistent and prompt communication and updates from Ben. He would send me multiple progress pictures of the cuts throughout the following days to keep me posted on their work. It was a great way of keeping me excited and involved in the project, as well as demonstrating complete transparency. Additionally, when I would text Ben for any update or question, he would respond within minutes. One of the other reasons we chose to work with Pablo Marble and Granite was that they were the only contractor we spoke to who would include and help us remove the existing porcelain tile backsplash we had in the kitchen. We knew this would need to be removed before replacing, and no other outfit would handle that work as part of the scope. Ben had a gentleman at our home within 48 hours to remove the backsplash. Furthermore, Ben was very helpful providing us insight and consultation regarding additional services, such as plumbing and fair pricing for such. Lastly, Pablo and his teams were always extremely courteous and professional while executing the actual installations. They took great care with our home and did an exceptional job. Something that also struck me, was that they were consistently very punctual! I would receive updates with expected time of arrivals from Ben, and they never disappointed. As I mentioned, I would simply express that this was by and large one of the most fun and highly satisfying experiences we've ever had with any contractor. I would recommend anyone looking for new countertops or stonework to reach out to Ben before any other.

I needed a granite slab for a small kitchen countertop for my newly remodeled basement. Tons of…read moreremnants to choose from. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes. Install was quick and easy. Backsplash was cut from the same piece of granite and looks fantastic. I gave the guys an extra $100 to install the back and sidesplash on my bathroom vanity and they were happy to do it. My one problem was with the undermounted sink they provided. Along with squared edges, the base of the sink is flat so water pools rather than draining. This in turn leads to soap and water stains. I recommend shopping undermount sinks before agreeing to the one they'll provide.

Wandra then worked with us on layout, showing us mutiple layout options that would maximize the beauty of quartz' pattern. The installers were, prompt, courteous, and very neat.
