RENTERS BEWARE! My boyfriend and I signed an application via Phil Ragusa on a Friday for a complex on Schoosett Street in Pembroke. The unit reeked of cigarettes, but we were assured it would be thoroughly cleaned before we (non-smokers with small children) move-in. He repeatedly told us that the complex used "to have a lot of riff raff, but the new landlord chased them all out" and we were "just the kind of people" the landlord wanted. Fine, the complex was in a location we liked. We then paid a fee, half months rent, through Venmo to Boston Premier. Per Phil's instructions it was sent as a regular payment, not as "goods and services". Later we found out we got the apartment. However; over the weekend our circumstances changed and on Monday we let him know we no longer were interested. He told us he'd let the landlord know and get back to us. On the return call he let us know the landlord was "extremely upset" and would not be returning our fee (over 1k). The landlord or management company was never identified. We had never met the landlord or signed a lease. Just were told our application was accepted, which is odd as to my knowledge landlords aren't allowed to accept application fees and we paid Boston Premier. Any attempt to get the company to clarify or give us a receipt was met with silence. I left a negative review on Yelp to alert other potential renters and moved on. 20 days later Phil found the review and proceeded to contact my boyfriend to get it taken down. To my knowledge he has both our contact information, but chose to reach out to him instead. When asked why Boston Premier never responded to my email he claimed that the email, which is the one found on the website and the email our applications were sent from, was defunct and nobody checked that. At this time we are supposedly receiving half of our "fee" (still no receipt or clarification) back after he "fought for us" with "the landlord" and he still wants this taken down. I wouldn't know for sure though. The "landlord" who is holding our money is a mystery. No one has contacted me personally. Just the male in my life. read more

I recently worked with Phil from Boston Premiere Properties to help find my elderly brother an affordable, decent studio apartment on the South Shore. I had previously attempted to contact many other rental advertisements online of which most never bothered to even return a call. Phil called me back promptly and was friendly, knowledgeable and caring throughout the entire process. He helped us find a great apartment in Quincy that was convenient and affordable for my brother. I would recommend Phil and Boston Premiere Properties for all your rental needs. Ruth Jones read more

Bad neighbor to properties surrounding Ashland Street Condo Assoc, Watertown MA. There is a tree of theirs damaging surrounding homes, yards, gardens & fences. (Not) premiere properties forced an 80 year old woman to pay for her yard cleaning of the tree's amazing mess and is refusing to pay to replace fence & patio ruined by this tree. Also told me they'd sue if I threw back huge branches that keep falling here. read more

Had a fantastic experience with Phil from Boston Premier Properties. He really went the extra mile to get us in the perfect apartment when we had a serious time crunch. I would recommend him to anyone! Phil met us and showed us 4 apartments that had a range of price and that suited our requests. He was patient, friendly, and helpful with answering our questions. When we found the perfect place for us he was able to assist us in applying and signing a lease all in one day which is amazing for two people traveling over two hours to reach him. We are so happy with our experience and with our new apartment. Thanks so much, Boston Premier Properties team! read more

We had a great experience working with Phil at Boston Premier Properties as he was very punctual and professional. We were able to find an ideal apartment that suited all our needs. As out-of-staters, Phil made sure to inform us about the area and helped us find a place that provided the best location, access to the T, and space for working from home. Phil showed us three places that matched our budget and ideal living arrangements. Highly recommend especially if you are new to the area as we were! read more

My girlfirend and I looked at two apartments with Brian. In both cases, he seemed to lack basic knowledge about the properties he was showing and had to make phone calls in the middle of the showing to answer simple questions (what utilities are included, is there a washer/dryer in the building, etc). The lack of professionalism and their requirement of a full security deposit just to apply should have been red flags for us, but we were pressed for time and decided to sign a lease on an apartment in Quincy. When we moved in we found that the apartment had not been cleaned or refurbished as agreed in our lease. By this point, Brian and Boston Premier were out if the picture and we were left to negotiate with our landlord on our own. TL;DR Sleazy and unprofessional. Stay away at all costs. read more

I cannot say enough about my experience working with Phil in my apartment search. He is a true professional. He found exactly what I required at the perfect price point. Highly recommended! read more

Unorganized and unprofessional. Scheduled a viewing of a place that was nearly an hour away and no agent showed up after I was told others had scheduled a viewing of this location for the same time. When I called to get an explanation, no one knew who was supposed to be showing this apartment and I was told that someone would be able to come out in 5 hours! read more

I had a terrible experience with these people. First of all, they couldn't even tell us the right address for the apt-- our lease had the WRONG address and we set things up under that and ended up being a disaster to change back. I told our agent about this and she came back with the wrong address AGAIN. Next- we were told the place would be cleaned when we moved in-- WRONG. We had to scrub the walls and floors and the place had fleas from the previous owners. Stay away read more

I just signed a lease on a new apartment listed by Jared and couldn't be happier! This was a stressful time, as I needed to move quickly, Jared made the transaction so easy and hassle-free. He expedited the showings and was entirely accommodating of my schedule and time-crunch. Once I decided I wanted to move forward with a beautiful apartment he showed me, everything went as quickly as I needed it to and with great ease. Jared is highly recommended to work with for your next move! read more

Excellent experience! I contacted several agents from different companies during my apartment search and found out most of them were very slow to respond (if they responded at all) and difficult to work with when it comes to scheduling a showing. Then I found Steve of Boston Premier Properties and he went above and beyond to help me find a new place I like on a short notice. He was easy to communicate with, responsive, really listened to what I wanted, and was proactive in finding out any additional information I requested. I would highly recommend Steve to any of my friends. read more

I never right anything on these web sites but I felt it compelling to do so because of the experience I have had with Phil from Boston Premier Group located in Quincy. If you are in the market for an apartment I strongly recommend Phil, I just started looking for an apartment my stress level was obviously high need to move by 10/30/2018. Philp gets to know who you are and find the right place and right price for your budget. He even drove me around to see these apartments. I was credibly fortunate to have someone like him he kept my stress level down and did the worry for me. He found me a wonderful place. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your help. I was incredibly fortunate to have someone like you in my life, I couldn't have got an apartment without you are such a generous and kind person, keep you the good work. You were my angel. Boston premier realty? More like Boston premier @ssholes! Whatever you do stay away from this dump. Brad our "realtor" if I can assign him that title, talked to me for a grand total of 27 seconds and was so indifferent to my business that he never even bothered to get my number. We showed up at 12, he didn't. We called, he didn't pick up. I can't write this review without the contraction "didn't" because lazy assed brad didn't do his job! STAY AWAY! read more

I had a wonderful experience with this company. I was on a hunt for an apartment in Quincy and I was in a bit of a time crunch. I hadn't had any luck with any other companies and was beginning to lose hope. That was until Brian called me and set up a showing for two apartments and found us an unbelievable place that was just what I was looking for. I couldn't be more grateful for him and the company. Already I am signing the lease and have some worry behind me! He made sure it happened and was extremely reliable! read more

We found this agency very unprofessional and unreliable. Our problems with this agency started after we signed the lease to the apartment. The agency promised us a move-in date a couple days earlier than the 1st of the month since we needed to move in on the weekend. So on Sunday we rented a Uhaul van and packed up our apartment and waited for a call. No call came, and multiple attempts to reach Boston Premier Properties were met unanswered. We didn't find out until the evening that the tenants were not able to move out. They made a promise they could not keep, and what was worse was that they said they would mail us a check for $100 to cover the extra costs (we had to rent the Uhaul one more day). And never paid. read more

I found a great place on craigslist and these people were the brokers. I saw the place once and was very interested in the place. I have been emailing to no avail for weeks the "Realtor". She reposted the add a day ago and has yet to reply to me. I dont expect to hear back. I had a good experience with Mark however when seeing another property. He was helpful. But the woman.... she couldve at least responded and said whether the place was available or not. If I do somehow get this place, her fee needs to be reduced, or voided all together. she is not doing her job professionally at all! I dont even do reviews. however im so disappointed, this needed to be shared. read more

My boyfriend and I were in a rush to locate an apartment in Quincy. Premier Properties, and specifically Jared, made the process so much easier. He showed us multiple places in the same day that were all perfect for us, listened to our concerns, and found us the right unit! Having moved several times, I can honestly say that my experience with this company has been the most professional and friendly that I have ever had. The viewings, the lease signing, and the move were all easy and painless. read more

I've had two experiences with Boston Premier Properties. Unfortunately, I don't remember who the first person who helped me was, but he did a good job and seemed to go the extra mile to try and help. My second experience is the reason I even decided to review them. We had an appointment with Armand at 5 p.m. We received a call at a little after 5 saying he was going to be late. We ended up waiting in the office until almost 6 without another call before deciding to leave. read more

I moved out from Arizona and was very stressed finding a place. Everyone I had contacted was rude and had no agenda to help. Once we told Phil our situation, he was completely willing and excited to help us. Phil helped us out so much, made everything very easy! He found us something in our price range, and also was just remodeled. Thank you so much Phil!! I recommend everyone to use Boston Premier Properties. read more

The move-in process was smooth enough. The broker Erik showed me the place and I got moved in in a reasonable pace. The problems arose after I moved in. In my building, the units aren't numbered. Erik insisted I was moving into unit 2 when it was actually unit 1. It became a problem when signing up for utilities. What ended up happening was that I was paying utilities for the guy above me instead of my own, and I didn't realize it until one day the landlord came knocking on my door telling me my unit had a bunch of unpaid utility bills. Thankfully National Grid was good about sorting the whole thing out. I decided I wanted to move out, and was under the impression I signed a one-year lease. Looking through my email chain with Erik (thankfully I don't delete emails), I saw that I already paid my last month's rent and figured I didn't have to write a check for it for my last month. I got a phone call from my landlord asking where my rent was and I told him about my last month's rent; he seemed surprised that I was moving and told me that the lease has no end and that I should have given him 30 days notice before doing so. I flipped through my copy of the lease to see if there was any such stipulation, of which there was none. I also found the lease full of mistakes, like the lease describing the wrong address or still reading "month to month" where it was supposed to show beginning and end dates for the lease. All in all, I felt Boston Premier Properties showed itself to be extremely unprofessional. If I made mistakes such as what they made, I would very likely get fired from my job instead of collecting a cool $500 for every apartment I negotiated. More than tenants, I think landlords should be wary of working with BPP. Thanks to mistakes BPP made, my landlord very likely got mad at me because he thought I was just being a difficult tenant. read more

Update: just signed another lease through Boston premier properties and was in and out in 20 minutes. Awesome people who are super helpful!

This is the second time I've found a rental through BPP and for the second time in a row Phil was an immense help. It took him a grand total of 8hrs to find us a unit that perfectly fit our requirements and to have us signed and good to go once renovations are complete. He went out of his way to show us the unit multiple times and even handled a few special requests we had for the landlord. Fantastic. read more

These guys are great!! My girlfriend and myself had a little rough patch after someone backed out of an apartment we had at the last minute. We got in contact with Jared and he helped us continuously until we found a place, a great place. Will definitely be contacting them again if we ever decide to move! read more

My boyfriend and I recently went through the non-stop stress of the process of trying to find an apartment in Quincy. We are both in graduate school and have jobs, but we are unable to work full-time because of the internship requirements of our program (24 hours a week of unpaid work along with classes...). Besides that we have great credit and many reliable references. We responded to dozens of ads on craigslist which put us in contact with several realty companies, and Boston Premier was the ONLY one that was willing to listen to our situation and advocate for us with landlords. They were much more responsive than any other agency, and willing to arrange appointments with us quickly. I don't have anything negative to say...worked with Phil and Billy throughout this process and I will only work with Boston Premier Properties when looking for an apartment in the future. And in response to people's negative comments, I will share that each time I was driven to apartments by the agents they received dozens of calls in a very short period of time while in the middle of trying to manage the in-person appointments they have scheduled, that's just the reality of looking for an apartment- you are in competition with SO many other people and all the agency can do is try to best manage all of the people who are competing for the same apartment. I do NOT envy the job requirements of being a real estate agent Thank you Boston Premier Properties, we're currently moving all of our stuff in and the place is great. read more

I'm very glad I didn't check Yelp before I decided to go to Boston Premier Properties because we might have missed out on getting our great apartment. Phil (who I think is the owner) was great to work with and I'm surprised at the negative reviews. He showed us a lot of places in our targeted price range and really listened to what our needs were. One thing that Phil did that we really appreciated was that when we went to look at a place we were the only people viewing the place and he took a lot of time to show us places and we never felt rushed. In the end we've ended up with a place that we think is just perfect for us. We just signed the lease, picked up our keys and we can't wait to move in! read more

Phil of Boston Premier found me exactly what I was looking for. He was extremely professional and friendly. He understood my renting needs and with first showing he had found exactly what I needed. Very disorganized and dishonest. Agent does not answer phone or return calls. Told me several times they could show me an advertised apartment and to call him on a particular day/time at which time he didn't answer his phone. This happened on three different days. I had great success with Boston Premier. Last year they rented my apartment within two weeks. Yelp has the same few bad reviews for this agency. they are old and I would think you are out to bad mouth them. I have been using them for years and I could not be happer. These are the same bad reviews you print over and over again. I do not think that is helpful to your followers. read more

I came to Boston with one of girlfriends to look for an apartment. We met with Phil, he was so nice and welcoming. He showed us around the area and took us to a bunch of apartments and we found one that we completely loved. He really made relocating super easy, fun and fast! We signed a lease that day! He made sure that on the move in day the apartment was cleaned by professional cleaners and came to the apartment to bring the key. BPP was exceptional, professional, and responsive in finding me the ideal apartment on a short turnaround time and in the neighborhood I needed to be in.
