Being a single woman, putting in my first offer was intimidating, to say the least; but Jill talked me through the whole process and was there every step of the way, giving me the confidence I needed to move forward. She helped me draft a letter which turned out to be a huge factor in the seller's acceptance of my offer--great advice! From the mortgage broker to the home inspector, Jill got me in touch with a strong team who I fully trusted to get the job done. At the time, I heard so many horror stories about buying in the current housing market, that it is truly hard to believe how seamlessly things went for me from start to finish. Jill is organized, efficient, punctual and informative and I'm so glad I had her by my side throughout the process, making it all happen!

Caroline recently helped my husband and I purchase our first home. We began the process back in…read moreMarch with a Redfin agent. We found a home we liked pretty quickly and decided to put in offer in. The process was less than desirable as we didn't have a sense from the agent if we were making a good decision or if our offer was going to be enough to get the house. We did not win the offer and decided to consider hiring a traditional real estate agent. That's when we found Caroline on Yelp. Our initial phone call was over an hour and it felt so natural. She got to know us, and told us about herself and the market. She had a good sense of what we were looking for in our range and assured us our house was out there. Caroline spent the next three months looking at houses with us every weekend, communicating with us by email/phone/text, and keeping us positive in the stressful process. While she has other clients she is working with, she always made us feel like we were her only clients. She would provide us with houses hitting the market within moments of them becoming available (often the same ones we were emailing her!) and insight into the neighborhoods and homes. She gave her honest opinion on the home itself and pricing to help us make an educated decision. She helped us maintain a positive outlook when the market seemed to be out of our favor. We came close to putting an offer on a few houses, but after hearing her insights decided to pass, which was ultimately the right decision. When we found our home, Caroline was honest about things that would need to be done, but also made us feel confident putting in an offer. She made the process easy to understand by reviewing our documents with us, coordinating with a mortgage lender, and negotiating on our behalf. She helped us select a trustworthy inspector and has recommended local businesses to do work on our home when the time comes. She is a one stop shop for all your home buying/renovating needs! Caroline has been in the business for over 30 years and grew up in this area so she knows it very well. She is the ideal agent for first time home buyers who are interested in being a part of the process every step of the way. My husband and I joked at the end of our search that we could be licensed agents with all she taught us. We have already recommended Caroline to friends who are interested in buying a home in the area and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you, Caroline, for all of your help! We are so happy to have found you and miss spending our weekends hanging out with you!

Exceptional Real Estate Partner - Phil Delivers Results…read more I've had the pleasure of working with Phil at Park Hou Group through Splice on multiple transactions over the years. Phil helped me purchase a single-family home in Cambridge, buy a townhouse condo in Somerville, and later sell the condo. Each experience exceeded my expectations. Going Above and Beyond from Day One For my Cambridge purchase, Phil's team secured an early showing before the open house, allowing me to submit a competitive offer ahead of the crowd. In Cambridge's cutthroat market, this strategic move made all the difference--I'm confident I wouldn't have gotten the house otherwise. Phil provided an incredibly detailed comparative market analysis (CMA) that gave me the confidence to make a strong but justified offer. Expert Advice That Pays Dividends One of Phil's best recommendations was converting my 2-bed, 1.5-bath home into a 3-bed, 2-bath. This renovation created a versatile home office and guest room, and when I relocated, significantly increased the property's rental value. It's rare to find a realtor who thinks so strategically about long-term value. Unmatched Expertise and Resources Phil's personal experience with rental properties and renovations sets him apart. As a first-time renovator, I had countless questions, and Phil never hesitated to share his knowledge--even well after closing. I later learned he develops properties himself and manages investment properties for other clients, which explains his deep understanding of what to buy, what to avoid, and how to maximize ROI on improvements. A Full-Service Team with Vetted Professionals Phil has built an impressive network of trusted vendors--inspectors, architects, contractors, loan officers, attorneys, photographers, stagers, and more. When he makes a recommendation, I don't waste time researching alternatives because I know they're competent and fairly priced. This network is invaluable and saves tremendous time and stress. Proactive Marketing That Gets Results When selling my condo, Phil convinced me to stage the property (excellent advice) and staffed the open house with multiple team members to ensure every visitor felt attended to. What impressed me most was his follow-through--he personally called every prospective buyer multiple times for feedback and to maintain engagement. Phil doesn't just list properties; he actively sells them. Always Available, Always Professional Throughout every transaction, Phil was accessible via text and phone, answering questions and easing anxieties. His communication style is both professional and reassuring during what can be a stressful process. I've recommended Phil to all my friends because I genuinely believe you won't find a better realtor in the Boston area. His combination of market knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional service makes him an invaluable partner in any real estate transaction.
