I am a difficult client. I'm anal and pushy and impatient and had driven several realtors away before I met Femion. In addition, my boyfriend has an innate distrust of anyone in sales or law, and Femion is not just a realtor, but a lawyer. We couldn't believe our luck when we found him.
Femion responded to EVERY email I sent within MINUTES, including when he was out of the country on vacation or with family. Imagine my surprise when I found out this was just his "side" job, when he made me feel like I was the only business he had! You don't even get this kind of attention from someone trying to do their day job well!! He's just amazing. He immediately set up showings for EVERY listing I expressed even moderate interest in, organized us being able to look at houses even if he wasn't personally available, provided really expertise advice on every aspect of the home buying process, and on top of all of that, was just generally a really easy person to get along with!
I can't stress enough how valuable that was to us on top of everything else that technically "matters" with regards to a realtor. Yes, he was responsive, knowledgeable, skilled at negotiation and experienced in the home buying process. But he's also LIKABLE. He's easygoing and has a good sense of humor and doesn't seem to care either way if you end up buying a house with him or not, as long as you are happy and end up making the right overall decision for you. Buying a home is the biggest stress I've ever experienced, but having Femion as my realtor made it immeasurably easier. I'm not sure I'd have a house now if it weren't for finding him, I might have bailed on the whole process!
He passionately negotiated offers on 3 different houses for us, and really personified the meaning of the word "advocate". It felt like he was really "on our side", and would also try and steer us away from bad decisions. Because he is also a lawyer, he was able to provide that service during our closing as well, which saved us from one more stressful interaction in the home buying process, as well as saved us money, since he waived the fees due to it being a potential "conflict of interest". After spending all that time with him before the purchase, I completely and utterly trusted him more than I could possibly any stranger with no "conflict of interest", and didn't even consider not having him provide his services as our lawyer, which was definitely the right decision. At every turn, he was making suggestions about ways to save money and get the best possible value and quality for our money, including down the road well after the purchase.
He personally invests in his clients and we feel like we gained a real friend in this experience. He's already met the entire family and my boyfriend's step-mom even hugged him :) read more
