I usually get the Jambalaya fettuccine, it's a safe bet, big portion with a mild spice.

Spectacular breakfast and some of the best customer service ever. Loved the servers and thoroughly enjoyed the food. This place is absolutely top notch and we'll be making the hour long drive from Kingston on the regular. Keep up the great work Birdy's!!!

The server who seated us said she would not be serving us but our server would be along shortly. While we waited for our server, the first server seated another couple and immediately took their drink and appetizer order. After 10-15 minutes our 'server' finally arrived. By then we had pored over the beer menu and selected a couple options. She flippantly told us 'nope, not available' to the first three we chose. We finally picked a beer, and ordered our appetizers and mains. About 20 minutes later, 2 tables that arrived well after we did, started getting their apps and mains. After being in the restaurant for 45 minutes with no food in sight, we got up, paid for our beers (which she then said we didn't need to pay for, because she FORGOT TO HIT SEND ON OUR ORDER). Completely unprofessional and our server was robotic and flippant. Steer clear! The place is clearly understaffed and lacks any sort of management presence.

The beer battered fish yummy, NOT greasy and the batter did not suffocate the fish like many do. Unfortunately they ran out of French fries the side with the fish ( they hand cut them) we were disappointed but settled on the mashed potatoes. Let me just say I'll order the mashed potatoes all night long. They were fantastic!!! The service (Chrissy) was attentive and very accommodating without a hint of frustration. The atmosphere was so nice. While the place was busy we felt like we were having a private party. We will absolutely come again. Thank 197

Excellent service, excellent food, nice atmosphere. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. I had the catfish sandwich, but I also had 1/2 of my wife's Croque Madame. That was awesome! Obviously we won't be returning, but if you live here (or close), you should go.

You can choose from a selection of each. We went with a mild Quebec bleu, soft French cheese, duck prosciutto, and cured sausage. They were served with plenty of baguette, gerkins, olives, honey, mustards, and chutney along with apple slices. The chef served the plate and explained each item. It was a terrific, relaxed way to enjoy everything. The wine menu is very carefully selected and are available by the carafe, glass, or small glass. While some of the wine prices may be higher than typical house wines, it is a fantastic way to try a wine without having to buy an entire bottle. Some of the wines would be out of our household budget so it was a treat to be able to try just a glass. There are special housemade cocktails, beer, port, and more tiny plate options. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff was terrific. This is a perfect place to stop when you want a light bite but really thoughtfully selected food.
