Very affordable and quick sensor cleaning. My two cameras were done and ready to pick up within just a few hours.

Boston Audio Rentals

Allston/Brighton

We used Boston Audio Rentals to deliver and install a Pipe & Drape for our November 2022 wedding…read more Despite assuring us that they had been to our venue "many times" and would be able to provide the Pipe & Drape, they failed to properly set up the Pipe & Drape as agreed and have since failed to respond to our request to discuss the issues following the wedding (other than one email suggesting that the problems with the setup were somehow our fault). We had a terrible experience with this company and would strongly recommend not using them. Prior to our wedding we told Boston Audio Rentals that we needed the Pipe & Drape to hide the tables which would be preset prior to our ceremony. We gave them the required setup and a picture from our venue from another wedding with our desired setup months in advance (see attached), and they received a diagram from our venue. Based on this information Boston Audio Rentals told us how many sections of Pipe & Drape we needed. On the day of the wedding their employee showed up and had no knowledge of the setup we required and had to dig through his emails to find the diagram. Once he set it up, he called the groom (point of contact) and explained that he did not have enough sections to complete the desired setup (that Boston Audio Rentals had agreed to months prior) and that he was too far from their office to obtain more sections. As you can see from the picture attached, the setup does not conceal the back of the room at all and further the sheets were also sheer which both obviously completely undermine the entire point of the Pipe & Drape in concealing the tables. We expressed our dissatisfaction during the day of the wedding, and only after involving our venue coordinator was she able to reconstruct the sections in such a way that at least the back of the venue was somewhat obstructed, but far from the agreed setup that we had paid $1000 for (plus a premature tip that was given upon the employee's arrival). We have since reached out to the company who has been almost entirely unresponsive and now suggests the problems were our fault. This experience was extremely upsetting on our wedding day. We also wanted to note that we had no other complaints about any other vendors from our wedding other than Boston Audio Rentals. We would strongly recommend avoiding this company not only for the bad outcome, but also their extremely disappointing customer service and lack of care in their final product.

Great equipment and helpful, friendly service. Prompt drop off, setup, and breakdown.read more

Terry Hanley is literally a living American treasure. He and his brother Bill are considered "The…read moreFathers of Festival Sound," starting in 1969 doing both the live sound and live recording of the Woodstock Festival, the Johnson presidential inauguration, sound for (not including Woodstock) Hendrix, Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Aerosmith, Credence Clearwater Revival, Poco, Richie Havens, Johnny Winter, Mavis Staples and other legendary performers. His continued passion for sound and recording have enabled him to be at the helm of Terry Hanley Audio Systems well into his 70's, today. When you deal with Terry Hanley Audio, you are dealing with people who have more experience than in fact, anybody else on the planet. That he is located so near Boston is an amazing opportunity for anyone in the area looking for this kind of equipment or services. I have been renting from Terry ever since I worked for his lighting partner Tom Fields as a high school junior in 1970. For the past almost 50 years I have never failed to get high quality, reliable and well-tested equipment that has never failed me. Five stars simply is not enough. These are the people you want to go to for rentals, events and anything else having to do with sound. BTW - Hanley Square was recently unveiled in Medford, MA, the town they brothers got their start in.

AN ABSOLUTELY MUST DO! A FREE EVENT! If you are a Fan of…read moreMusic Festivals from Woodstock to Coachella & love Music especially The Classics like The Beatles, The Beach Boys & The Rolling Stones then you will love today's adventure. We're going to go to the place where it all began. It's Time to jump into The TimeMobile & scour the Earth & take you to places from a different time that you won't believe still exist. We have set the dial to the 1960's in the town of Medford MA. right outside of Boston. This is the Hanley Sound Monument. The Hanley Brothers from Medford were Sound Pioneers who revolutionized the music industry. Bill Hanley was the engineer & was the Sound of Woodstock. He is known as "The Father of Festival Sound". Before The Hanley Brothers musical artists had a microphone, an amplifier & a tinny speaker. Even good musicians sounded terrible. The Hanley's brought movie theater sound to concerts & completely changed the music industry forever. People could finally hear every single sound & instrument & across a wide area. You could have a 1/2 a million people who showed up at Woodstock with great musical acts but If the crowd couldn't hear the music Woodstock would have never turned into the legendary concert that it was. Woodstock remains the gold standard by which all other concerts are judged. Hanley Sound also did the music for The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Pope, President Johnson The Newport Jazz & Folk Festival, Madison Square Garden in NY, Fenway Park in Boston & many others. The studio was here from 1963-1984. It's gone, now but its influence will never be forgotten. They now have a monument for this groundbreaking business right out in front on the side. This hallowed space is currently occupied by Dunkin' Donuts. They've nicknamed this place "The Woodstock Dunkin' Donuts". At the top of the monument on the right hand side, you'll see the symbol for Woodstock. This is one of the Secret Hidden Gems of America that most people have never heard of or been to before. If you want more detailed information about this John Kane has written a book about Hanley Sound called The Last Seat in the House. There is also a documentary. You can get more info @ http://www.thelastseatinthehouse.com/. There's even a song & video about Woodstock & The Hanleys sung by Doug Kwartler now on YouTube. There are also podcasts & other info you can also find on YouTube as well. Hanley Sound paved the way for all artists from the 60's thru today & future musicians too. They finally have a monument to pay homage to Hanley Sound & tell people what magic was created here. It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!
